So I guess theres no zero star option huh? These folks necessitate that. Was returning an item and had it boxed up and had the return label ready. I wasnt sure if part of it was to go in the box and another part on the outside of the box, or if it all went on the outside, so I left the box unsealed. Stood in line for about 30 minutes, and when I got the counter the man told me he wouldnt tape the box for me. All I needed was one 4-6" strip of packing tape. I asked if I could buy the tape, and he said yes. Great, I said, Ill do it. But I had mistakenly assumed he was selling me the strip of tape, and then learned that he meant I could buy an entire roll of tape for $9, tape up the package, and then wait in line again. All this while a giant roll of packing tape is sitting right next to him on the counter. If that wasnt irritating enough, the guy almost looked pleased that he was being rude and irritating me, and his tone was as smug as it gets. These people deserve all the criticism they receive and much more. I went to straight to UPS and they grabbed the box right out of my hands, taped it up, and processed it for shipping before I could get a word out, literally. I then said, wow, thanks, and asked how much I owed them. They looked at me like I was crazy and said I dont owe them a dime. So at least the trip ended up with a positive experience. At UPS. Pelican Bay is probably a better experience than this place.

The old Asian man is an absolute moron and a jerk! How USPS can heir uneducated, third world country level employees in a first world country is beyond me. Least you could do is heir someone qualified? And I am sure it doesnt require much qualification to work here. First - I have to explain him how to do his own job. He wont offer me a shipping label, wont offer a shipping box nor tape, even though I am paying for it!!! Then he refuses to change my shipment method from priority to standard, because its tooooo much work. At this point I ask for a refund. He refuses to refund my money.. Says he cant says he wont. Meanwhile someone else steps in (Dana) and finally offers me a refund. She could not stop being a jerk either. Never encountered a nastier staff than this. Instead of apologizing for waisting my time and being absolute morons, they turn around start laughing and giving each other high fives. Such pricks. I ended up shipping nothing and wasted 20 mins. Please save your self the time and headache. Go else where, somewhere where theyll get your work done and not try to scam you. Management: This place already has some pretty pathetic reviews. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Heir decent, educated, well behaved, sane employees. No decent individual should have to go through this nonsense.

Moved to Bellevue from IL. Forwarded mail was mishandled in IL AND in WA. I dont think, between the 2 USPS offices, that I got any mail on time (or in some cases, at all!) for the first 3 months after the move. Found out that asking the mail delivery person du jour what time the mail usually arrives was a bad idea. Apparently its not the same person every day for very long, so no one actually seems to know when our apartment building is supposed to have regularly scheduled delivery. So, when you ask the person delivering mail that day, youll likely get a vacant look, an apologetic comment, or snark. I try not to get mad, theyre not the ones who make the schedules, and I imagine its frustrating for them. The Post office itself is rundown and depressing. Id be miserable if I had to work there every day. The parking is kind of a mess, and traffic around it is getting worse with all the new construction going up so fast. The service could be better, the facilities are in dire need of an upgrade, and I only see the traffic in to that PO increasing over the next 10 years. For now Ill settle for the service just not getting any worse. Oh... and they once sent one of my letters to the USS Nimitz. I am not in the military, nor is any of my immediate family.

You have got to be kidding me. I called just as the clock struck 8:30. The phone rang for 6 minutes until someone picked up, rustled around a bit, and then put me on hold. After another TEN minutes, I was quite irritated, as Im sure you could imagine. I was curious as to what would happen if I called from another phone while I waited on hold, and what do ya know? Someone picked up almost immediately. He wasnt much help though. I wanted to make an appointment (only because it is required) to get my first passport, which you cant do online. He isnt able to do that, because he has no knowledge of the process. Not only can he not help me, but he also has no clue as to who else can. Apparently the lady that does the passports (Wait, theres only one??) is out of the office until, not the following Monday, but the Monday after. But thats Labor day. So I cant make an appointment until SEPTEMBER FOURTH. And keep in mind that I have been trying to get a hold of this post office all week. Absolutely ridiculous.

When I visited the office around Christmas time last year (2010), I experienced good service, so I was surprised to see many negative review on their customer service here. I wanted to drop off a package, but needed a flat-rate box, I drop by in the early morning, the office wasnt open yet, only had access to the table where you can find labels and boxes, though I couldnt find the right box I wanted, and there was already a line (6~8 people) waiting for the office to open. Only "pick up" window was open. I asked the person at the window if he can find the box, he said it should be at the table first, but I told him not the size I wanted, then he went back in the office and found one for me, and even took my package before the window opens, so I didnt have to go wait in the long line.

The staff is always wonderful, helpful, friendly. Its the &^%$ dang÷#=/ $# location that is just unbearable! The layout is more suited to a 500 population burg with no business to speak of. The parking is atrocious, probably have had multiple fender benders already. Not enough parking, having to back out into exiting traffic and pedestrian customers, its ridiculous. I avoid it as much as possible. The Crossroads station isnt any better, same problems. The old Bellevue Way PO was an eyesore and had ditches in the parking lot, but it was better equipped to handle what we need. I cant imagine the bigwigs of Bellevue standing for such an insulting storefront. Again, the employees are amazing, they struck gold in that department and deserve a better working environment.

I have been going to this Post Office for over 6 years and have had a good relationship with my Post Lady who deliveries mail to my place. Recently she has gone on maternity leave. Since then, I get my mail at all hours and and some days they dont even come. I just called the Postal Office here and a Supervisor at the name of Mike told me it was my fault for not picking my mail up mail daily but funny thing is I do. When I told him this he then said, I dont have my name on the box and which I did and was recently removed by the current Postal delivery person. I felt like he kept trying to put blame on me. There is issues with passing the buck or just putting blame on the customer. I can see why the US POSTAL SERVICE is hurting more and more, every year.
