I own a Ford Explorer. I went there to get an alignment, but before they would do the alignment they told me that I needed $716 dollars worth of work that needs to be done not including the cost of the alignment. Their quote said that the parts were $300, and labor was over $400, way over priced. Since I am a college student I am on a limited budget, I would not be able to afford the $800 for the work and alignment, so I went to Les Schwab in Poulsbo to get a second opinion. Les Schwab looked over my car and said the only thing that would really need to be done is to repack some barrings that I could have done during the summer for I think about $60. The cost for an alignment is much better at les schwab then it is at meineke. I will never go back to Meineke because they scared me telling me that my car would be dangerous to drive if I didnt get it fixed, but I could not afford it so I wanted a second opinion. If my car was a 4W drive then I would have to have it fixed, but my car is 2W drive so what they were saying was wrong was normal for my type of car. Meineke didnt event check to see if my car was 2W or 4W before they started looking at, they just assumed it was 4W drive because its an explorer.

Going in tomorrow and having my radiator replaced because I asked the guy to replace all of my fluids. "REPLACE." THAT DOESNT MEAN ADD MORE TO WHATS IN THERE. I even had them performed a new vehicle inspection. So , you cant tell me that makes any sense. Now I have some clay like muck in my radiator and guess what came on today at a red light? The check engine light as my car dies in the middle of the street! Here I am on a busy highway in the middle looking like a POS. If those things are separate and there is no damage to my motor or sensors, I will update on here to give more feedback. I loved the service. I gave it a 8/10 because I has to wait 4 Hours. Look at it in my perspective. Here it is 11 PM and Im having to flush my radiator in hopes my engine isnt fried at 11PM. Thanks!

CAREFUL USING COUPONS!! Had an 11 am appt for basic oil change that included tire rotation, visual check of air filter, fluids, etc. I was the only car there when I dropped it off and they quoted me 30 min. I hadnt heard back by 1:45. Finally it was done around 2. Prior to my appt I had marked my tires and sure enough they HAD NOT BEEN ROTATED ! They said that they only rotate if it looks like it needs to be done but they will go ahead and rotate if I want? Cmon ! 2 hours for an oil change not including rotation time ! Unacceptable! He offered me a free oil change next time as I walked out but I wont be using it. Do your job right the first time and you wont lose business.

I called to get a quote on a tune-up, they would not give me a quote until I brought in my van. They said they have to inspect the chevy express before I could get an accurate price quote. This is typically a way to find as many things as possible to charge the customer. I asked for a price quote on an entire tune, and the manager still would not give it to me. I am a service professional, and when someone wants a complete replacement, whether they need it or not, I will sell it to them. Their prices are in the computer, and they know the exact components of the tune. They could have made $500 or more off of me, instead they get this unhappy review.

Took my 98 Expedition in for an inspection (I knew most of what they would find, but the inspection is free). Re-sealed rear differential, replaced a CV axle, turned two rotors, replaced pads/etc, also had some minor parts they didnt charge me labor on (bushings and brake hardware kit). Overall I spent more money than I planned on but I dont feel ripped off. They were up-front with me about the costs before they did a single bit of work so I knew what I was agreeing to. Very pleased overall, especially with maintenance and repair that nobody really wants to have to have done in the first place.

I came in with a coupon for a synthetic oil change on a newer Ford Focus. The man at the counter was very nice and accommodating. However, I had to wait for 1.5+ hours because they had no oil filters in stock for my husbands car (a very common one). But, $20 for an oil change is a bargain, therefore I will probably return again.

I came in for an oil change and the staff was quick, efficient, and professional. They did let me know about the current state of my car which does need a few things tuned up soon, but I did not feel any pressure to schedule the fixes with them. I really appreciated the fast service, would recommend!

Im a regular customer at the Meineke on Hwy 3 in Bremerton. Excellent service. In addition, they do a good job of explaining what you need and why. Prices are competitive. The thing I appreciate most, is that you wont be told you need something unless you really need it. Thats rare these days.

Theyre always accurate or ahead of schedule with their time estimates; and theyre fair and honest. With restaurants and Walmart in walking distance, its easy to find something to do while waiting. Ive never had any trouble with the service or work at this shop!

I thought this was just an oil change shop but they are a full service mechanic auto repair, ive had an engine replaced and a dammaged rear suspension replaced, fair prices, friendly knowledable guys there too

Great job on complete brake system, Booster, Master Cylinder, new discs, calipers, bearings and rear brakes. Revived my 1982 Van that now drives fantastic. Competitive price with great service.

Had a muffler and pipes replaced, they botched it, pipe rattled against frame. Returned and the second set of pipes also rattled against the gas tank.
