Switched a far more expensive repair--one I had specifically told them I did not want made-- for the one I had actually scheduled with them; then refused all offers to compromise, claiming that somehow I was to blame for their miscommunication with my son who delivered my vehicle for the scheduled date and correctly identified it as a fan that I wanted fixed. When they realized he couldnt tell the difference between a sedan and a truck, far less a fan and an exhaust manifold, they got him to sign for what turned out to be a muffler instead of the requested clutch fan. If indeed they had been honestly confused about what I, the owner, wanted repaired, all they had to do was phone the owner! But when he couldnt tell them whether he had brought in my old sedan, or if it was the truck I wanted repaired, and had to go out in the parking lot and look for themself, I guess the temptation for a bait and switch to a three times more expensive repair was just too great for them. For shame, Midas Bremerton! I dont care if you consider him my "agent," someone who doesnt know the difference between a sedan and a truck drives in asking for the scheduled fan to be repaired, you dont trick him into signing for a muffler! ...At least call it a muffler, for goodness sake, so that he knows its the part I said NOT to replace; instead of calling it an "exhaust manifold" letting him think that must be just another name for the fan Id scheduled the appointment for. Shame on you!!

Update: Oh my goodness i am STOKED to finally have my loud flexpipe fixed! This is my old one! Thank you to the hard working and friendly Midas Bremerton team! (Chicago weather ate away at my car) its a blessing knowing i can trust you guys with your honest hard work ...... My husband and I have grown over the past few years to love coming here. Chel and Daddy give you honest answers when it comes to what is being done on your car as well as what needs done, or even what can wait! They take the time to bring you into the shop to show you whats going on if you are in question or just wondering what you will be putting your hard earned money into. (FYI prices are based on Midas prices. Much like a fast food joint, prices are set) My husband and I bring both our cars here, and will follow Chel and Danny if they ever choose to change locations! Looking forward to my next repair knowing that I am getting the BEST service in Kitsap!

I took my 2006 Suzuki Gran Vitara to Midas, W Bremerton. The Millions Midas Experience has been the best I have had in 55 years of car repairs! The diagnostics were explained in detail. Dan is co-owner and chief wrench. They have all the same information as the dealer, so no need to return to the dealer. They were prompt, patient, and friendly. the repairs were done exactly as described, old parts were shown me without me requesting to see them. Some repairs were found not to be needed, saving me $. Chel is the Business manager, and she is very competant handling warrenty and payment processes. the whole staff operates in a family way. Next time I go in for routine oil changes, I will hang out in their comfortable waiting area, and use their free wifi and enjoy a coffeed. toys for the kids. I will never go anywhere else. I went to this Midas for several years for everything, even though I did continue to call other shops to shop around for the best price, they always came out cheapest or nearly cheapest. The crew at Midas was always trustworthy and never once tried to tell me I had some problem that didnt exist and never tried to overcharge me. They never messed anything up on my car. They were always courteous, answered questions well, got me an appointment very quickly, and got work done very quickly. When the crew would find a developing problem with my car, they never tried any tricks you often hear about such as telling me they can fix it right now for some inflated price. Instead they would simply tell me of the problem, and if I asked to see it, they showed me. They always did a great job and never gave me a single bit of BS. Thank you guys!

Sounds like A bait and switch by the sending someone who was easily confused about what vehicle he drove. Id say the owner of the vehicle should have called Midas to explain the repairs identify the vehicle and leave a phone number to be contacted if problems arose. Shame on Charlene Carpenter. Ive had tons of repairs done on my 1999 Ford Ranger 4x4; expensive ones and they bent over backwards to keep me informed, kept the costs close to the estimate and worked with me. I find the shop to be knowledgeable, honest, and customer friendly. Again shame on Charlene Carpenter for degrading an honest business.

The guys working there are very friendly and helpful. I went in to get their Midas Touch Maintenance Package. They were very quick and informative. I think their prices are pretty good. I would definitely recommend going there for your car needs.
