This place has gone so far down hill they just lost their best stylist and they dont even have a manager. Whats left is a couple of incompetent twits, one passable stylist, and a "district supervisor" who is so passive-aggressive, rude, and unprofessional that you have virtually no recourse when one of them screws up. Id been going here forever and used to have Christy cut my hair. She had a bit of an uneven hand but was otherwise great and easy to get along with. She left. And now I understand why. I decided to take a chance on one of the newer girls, Courtney. She completely butchered my hair. She didnt listen at all and completely ignored the pictures I showed her and my explicit instructions to not cut it any shorter than the picture I showed her - crucial when youre dealing with short cuts. Not only did she not listen, she took off three inches more than she was supposed to and never even bothered to check with me. Nothing about my cut was right. Not the length. Not the angle. Not the texture. Id had one of the other girls - Jen - color my hair the week before. A couple days after this horrible experience with Courtney, I went back to see if there was any way I could get my color file so that I could try to avoid having that ruined too now that it was clear I needed to change salons. The supervisor - who wouldnt give her name - was so rude and unprofessional. I didnt even ask for a refund. I started out being really pleasant and polite and she looked at me like I was green and had grown a second head. Im not originally from the west coast and where I come from, lots of salons DO give people their color information if theyre not happy as a final courtesy. She tried to tell me it was proprietary information. I told her, quite directly but calmly, that that was the single most stupid policy Ive ever heard of in my life and that it made no sense whatsoever. Its not proprietary. I selected the colors and told your stylist exactly what I wanted and its on MY HEAD. She was so rude and so unprofessional that she didnt even want to hear why I was never coming back, why my family was never coming back, and why theyd just lost well over $800/year in business. She actually threatened to call security if I didnt leave despite the fact that I wasnt being anything but assertive and only slightly annoyed. There was absolutely nothing inappropriate about my behavior at all but in her desperation to avoid a scene in front of her customers, she blew the entire thing out of proportion by being rude, curt, and unprofessional. She actually said that she didnt really want to listen to my complaint because she had customers. If this is how you deal with customers who have had a bad experience - failing to even attempt to address the problem - Im pretty sure youre not going to have many repeat customers at all. When I advised her to fire Courtney she said *I* was being unprofessional and didnt know what I was talking about. Im not the professional; they supposedly are and they failed. In the real world, that gets people fired. I did know what I was talking about - I was the customer whose hair was ruined! So, I havent gotten a refund or information on my color to take to another stylist and I had to spend $50 elsewhere to have this cut fixed and turned into something that, while I totally hate, is at least presentable. The supervisor at Master Cuts was so stupid she actually preferred to give me the number for the corporate office than to give me info on my color. She apparently doesnt think shell be implicated in this whole mess which is dumb. Courtney is young and inexperienced. That I can forgive - though I dont think shes at all ready for that job and should be fired or completely retrained. The district supervisor, however, was hostile, completely unbalanced and should be fired, medicated, and institutionalized. Worst treatment Ive ever had by any business anywhere in my life.

I wanted to get my ends trimmed, my hair thinned and styled. First off the she forgot to thin my hair out, I didnt mention it because at this point I just wanted to go. Secondly, she kept mentioning that she was almost off. When I asked for the styling she asked if I wanted it curled, I said yeah I just didnt want to put it up when I was done. My hair was not fully dry when she started curling, obviously my curls were not going to stick! She was so rough and at the end of all that pulling and just wrapping my hair around that iron my hair did not have one curl. you could tell that she was just wanting to go. It was awkward, it was a waste of time, and just a waste of money.

Stay away!! So my wife goes in to get her greys touched up. She comes out with the top of her hair a orange color, she has black hair. They tell her that that are closing and they will fix it tomorrow, she goes back the next day and comes out with the top of her head blonde, she looks like a dam skunk. In the mean time my wife is crying and an employee tells her that the lady doing her hair has no idea what shes doing. He could of shared that a little sooner... I took my wife across the street and they fixed her hair in less then an hour. Avoid at all costs, they have no clue as to what they are doing and on top of that they overcharged her for the mess they created.

Got my first short haircut with Sunya (sp?) and loved it! She listened to what I wanted and it came out really well. Now my thin hair has volume and takes little to no time to style unless Im straightening it. Everyone who has seen it says it looks really good. Im going in for a trim soon with the same girl. I will caution that I went in already knowing exactly what I wanted instead of asking for a recommendation from the stylist. But it was important that she listened well and asked for clarification *before* she got started cutting.

Had bad experience there! The stylist I go to is francisco he does well with color but it not skilled in cutting hair. I was so dissapointed I couldnt believe it. My hair was so uneven when I would style it it would look horrible. I went for a retouch once when a manager was there and he gave me the excuse he had lost my chart so he had to do my hair all over again when he should know what color it was by just matching it to the color wheel. Overall bad experience

He is great. He is very skilled, and excellent hair stylist! I am Japanese with very typical asian hair.....but he was sooooo efficient cutting my hair, layering, with two scissors. I didnt think i would find such a gem at Master Cut but he is great, knows what he is doing! Definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Marivbel (maybe spelled her name wrong) put way too much of my hair into my bangs. They do not blend. The side swept bangs are nearly 1/4 of the way back on my head and so thick with hair. I cannot pull my hair back because of the bangs, they are so thick and awkward.
