SANDWICH TO BE MAILED TO US. Check your take-out order. My wife ordered several items for the family from the in-restaurant pickup online menu and when we got home discovered a sandwich was missing. We normally would have let such a small thing go (though their food is not inexpensive), but the managers reaction was enough to write this. We live next to the water, so its about an hour round trip and it wasnt practical to run back over there. She called and at first talked to a server and was then passed to the manager (Alex?) about a resolution. Youd think he would have just said sorry, the next time youre over here stop in and well get you one. That would have been fine. No- he told her he was going to mail(!) us one. Yes, mail us a sandwich!! The conversation devolved enough from there that she started laughing so hard that our grown daughter had to take over the task. Mailed sandwich was repeated to her and that kind of ended the conversation. Needless to say, 2 weeks later- no sandwich :( For what attempts to be a premium brand in a crowded market segment, this was surprising. Oh, and not as important, but noteworthy- they had forgotten the dressing on one of the salads and the soup container was only partially filled. Check your take-out before you leave the the place. UPDATE: 2 days after posting this review, we received a voucher for the sandwich. So yes, in fact, a sandwich was mailed to us.

Usually I have great service here. Came in for lunch with my boyfriend. Ordered half salad half sandwich. When I got my order I didnt think to inspect it. I went ahead and are my salad. I picked up my sandwich and realized my blt had NO BACON on it, which is the whole point of the sandwich. Okay mistakes happen no big deal! I went up to the front and told the manager my sandwich was missing bacon. He proceeded to stumble and say "uhh uhh could I just get you some bacon" I believe at this point I should been given a new sandwich. But I said sure and he went to the kitchen area to get the bacon. Not even a minute later he returned with a cup and two small pieces of cold bacon. He then said sorry about that and walked away. Horrible customer service. Yes I was 15 minutes into my meal and had already finished half of it. But the fact that I didnt recive a new sandwich and then only got two cold pieces of bacon in a cup, and not even a sincere apology is ridiculous . And from a manager at that. Will not be returning.

People behind counter were rude and snapping at customers. One elderly lady asked for a plastic knife and the employee said, I already gave you a bunch of plastic knives and didnt charge you for them!" When I ordered a bagel w/ turkey & cream cheese, the employee said "Well, I am going to charge you extra for the cream cheese!" Ummm..... wow. All I ordered was the bagel and an ice tea. The cashier rang me up and said it would be $9.78. I said that sounded too high & like she rang it up wrong. So she checked and agreed that she had rung it up incorrectly. She called someone over to void the transaction out, and the other employee said, "What, your voiding this out? So I just made this turkey bagel for nothing!!!" Again, ummm.... wow. Employees there are extremely rude to customers and I will never go back in that store again. If you want to be treated with kindness, warmth and decent customer service, steer clear of this place.

The employees here were all very friendly and seemed to enjoy their work and get along with management, which was very refreshing. The food was pretty gross though and not at the employees fault; the food was boring and flavorless! Id never been to Panera and was excited to try it only to be disappointed. We got two soups, two sandwiches, and two pastries. Both soups were very bland; the potato soup tasted like warm potato flavored water and the French onion soup was a cup of soggy grilled onions with little broth. The grilled sandwiches were also very bland and just plain boring. The sugar cookie had a lemon hint to it which was unexpected for a pink cookie but turned out to be okay. I also had a bear claw which was the only thing that I actually liked. I ended up paying $30 for two meals that went straight to the trash. My un-amused taste buds couldnt tell you why this chain has so much hype

Well..maybe they are not particularly friendly, but when Ive been there, its very busy. I would not term them as rude. I love the sandwich with smoked turkey, bacon and smoked gouda. My only complaint is that the bacon is not crisp enough and its very tiny. Once I went back to the counter to say they left the bacon off, but it was there, I just didnt see it until I took the sandwich apart to put the new bacon on. Im from NY, so you cant beat a NY bagel, but their chocolate chip ones are delicious, as well as a few others.

Tried the rapid pick-up service there three times so far. The food is good but the last two times had some problems. The first time they forgot a pastry I ordered and one of the baguettes. Contacted them and the manager was supposed to contact me which they havent yet. The last time they accidentally made a half salad then gave us two half salads instead of remaking a whole one. Thats not so bad but it is still less food than a whole salad and they should have just remade a whole salad instead of being lazy about it.

The absolute worst. We ordered 2 turkey & avocado BLTs and one small Mac & cheese, and they called us to tell us they had no Mac & cheese left. We said thats fine, no big deal, and so we subbed it for a different pasta instead. We picked up our order and it had no pasta or sides in it at all after rushing us out of the restaurant, and our sandwiches were wrong. They had no avocado on them at all, and my husbands was missing half the ingredients! Horrible service, horrible food. Go to another Panera!

You need to be very careful purchasing condiments and drinks here, as most of the time the items have expired, such as cream cheese and milk! You really have to check expiration dates when you go here. I dont know why I bother going back. It becomes such a waste of money having to throw it out when I get home. Too much of a hassle to take it back. On top of that, the people who work there are rude. Also, over the past couple of months the bagels have shrunk in size.

My GF and I have been to many paneras from So Cal to WA and this Federal Way location is by far the worst! The people working are rude and not inviting/welcoming. Weather its getting our order wrong or charging us for our free pastry and removing it from our rewards card and whats up with the buzzers? All the other paneras bring there food to you and the managers check and ask if everything is ok. The food is the only thing keeping this Federal Way location open
