i know its a post policy and not a gym policy but stopping someone from working out from 0500-0545 because they arent in uniform seems so ridiculous to me. With a meeting at 0600 then a run with my PLT at 0630 then not getting off until around 1800 doesnt leave a lot of time to lift weights and do other things. I understand 0630 to 0800 but discouraging someone from doing PT during their off time by telling them they have to be in uniform and "cant use headphones" while in PTs just doesnt make sense. Ill be paying to go off post or hitting up Mchord from now on.
This gym was good. Now, it has become a platform for I-Corps to push uniform policies. This makes for a horrible morning atmosphere. There are a bunch of high ranking people who just lean on machines and hassle Soldiers all morning. Also, under new management they got rid of the chalk in the main weight room. People are much better off exercising on McChord. The staff is friendly, but I-Corps has ruined the atmosphere.
This is where I go to work out. They have nice clean facilities, and for most of the day, there is plenty of equipment for everyone to use. Its usually most crowded in the morning when people are doing PT with their units. Otherwise, the 1800-1930 hours seem to be the most crowded. Crossfit room is usually accessible and good to use.

Awesome gym on base. Super friendly staff, clean equipment, and various classes you can take, if you want. They have P90X, Insanity, CrossFit, Army Combatives areas just to name a few things that you would, or would not, expect to see. AWESOME GYM!!!!Its the best gym on base. It has everything you can think off I love

Lots of great equipment but the locker room is in desperate need of renovation. Many of the locking mechanisms on the lockers are broken and the bathrooms are disgusting. This gym can get extremely busy due to its location. Soldiers Fieldhouse has the same amenities without the crowd.
This gym has it all. Something for the Muscleheads, Cardio Queens, Crossfitters, and gym loafers in general. You couldnt ask for a better gym with more equipment. Theres also a pool. Wish I was stationed here so this could be my gym.
Has a boxing area, crossfit, swimming pool, small sauna rock, climbing room, huge weight room, good cardio area... Mens Locker room is tiny however, they have a hideaway upstairs locker room most people dont notice it.
Kids pool closed until further notice. And pool temperature is pretty cold. The gym is ultra packed and the freeweights are undesirable noon to 8pm as its often packed.
Good place to work out has a cardio and core room, weight room, climbing, racket ball, cross fit room, and a boxing area. Bonus saunas in the locker rooms
Even when this place is full people always make room, great machines and great atmosphere , but after work it dose get very crowded
Theres good times and busy times bit its got all the weighs and equipment you need for whatever goal you have.
Had most all the equipment youll ever need, the space, and even with the volume of traffic there.
Large section of free weights, Cardo machines, cross fit,and an official size swimming pool
cross fit room is fantastic! I cant wait to take the rock climbing room.
Need more water fountains and need to clean the facility
Nice workout facility. Pool is also nice.
I seriously peed in the pool like 40 times
