There is an Asian woman who works at this USPS that is an absolute nightmare to deal and literally says the most outlandish things to me. I was told that the packing tape on their counter IS NOT FOR PACKAGES and I had to buy my own tape to attach a prepaid label. I asked her what the tape WAS for since this was a post office and she said "its for office use." Literally the only post office I have ever been to that denied taping my shipping label to my box. Oh and another time she got offended because I couldnt understand what she said. She must have got frustrated with me and as I left she told the next customer that I was a terrible person and SHE WANTED TO SLAP ME. It is very unrealistic to expect someone to understand 100% of what you are saying in general, especially when you are saying it in broken english through a thick accent. I am *so* happy that my packages no longer end up here and they end up at the other post office in Longview since I moved on the lake.

The wait here is often at least 15min for things that should under 3min. The employees are honestly terrible, the old woman is very sour, often to the point of being mean. She sometimes litterly refuses to help the person at the counter, holding up the line for minutes while the customer begs for her to just meter the parcel so they can be on there way. And when she does occasionally help someone, she will walk slow as she possibly can, then claim she cant find the package, Ive seen her walk into the back and "look" multiple times and finally bring out the package. This woman is a totally incompetent beach. Often when I deal with her I become suspicious of her being intoxicated. The Asian women actually does a good job, shes not the fastest, but at least you can get in and out in under 5min. Its best to just come back later if the old one is there, the Asian is usually in a better and friendly mood when old one is gone.

Im not sure what people are so upset about when it comes to the long times. Its the postal service, its always been like this. Even in the 90s I remember taking forever to mail something, the long lines are nothing new. Overall, Ive never had any problems from the postal workers. The building is in need of a renovation (As of the last time I was there.) All I can say is go earlier than planned if you have activities during the day. Pros: Staff never gave me any issues. Pros: The architecture of the building is very nice. Pros: Decent parking except around the holidays. Cons: Building needs to be worked on, its showing its age. Cons: Parking is bad during the holiday season, dont expect it to ever change due to their location. 4 Stars

If I could give -10 I would. I have been having issues for months now of missing mail or my mail being put in other peoples mailbox. And when I have a big package delivered no one knocks on my door nothing. How I am I supposed to know you dropped it off it no one knocks? I had a big package getting ready to be sent to me from USP and then dropped it off here and now I have been fighting for two days now to get my package. I understand that it takes time but I was told by the rudest mail lady working in the front office that I could come pick it up at 830 so I am here 855 and they are now telling me I have to wait till 930. Its my mail and its like I cant get it? So ridiculous!

Delivered my package to the wrong house and the lady signed for it. Smh So I went to the house they sent it too and picked it up myself. Just by seeing the review of this USPS in Kelso you guys need better employees or management.

The Asian lady that works in there its so rude 2 so many people its like she does not like people and if she does it its a very selective few she should not be working in public she should be in the back sorting mail just saying

Its ok but i, so over the fact that my neighbors park right in front of my box so Im never able to get my mail! Itll be 2 or 3 days no mail then Ill have a boat load of mail in your box! Im so sick of it!

We had a box of wine disappear from the Kelso post office. Customer service is very poor here as well. Whatever help is given, it is with a resentful attitude.

I seem to always get my neighbours mail and I still get mail film the previous owner from 2 years ago and when I mark RTS I get it back...
