AGAIN another package put in someone elses mailbox!!!! My god read the damned address and pay attention! This has happened TOO many times in the last couple years and frankly its disgusting. It only happens when my normal person isnt on her route. I cant go search through the mailboxes because thats a federal crime. I have contacted the Consumer Affairs in Seattle and Amazon is also doing their own investigation as USPS is. This could have been medication for someone who needs it and does mail The incompetence of those at this office, with the exception of a couple front counter people and my normal route lady, is ridiculous. Thankful I have honest neighbors as one just delivered my package which had been folded over and shoved into their small mailbox

Horrible! I CRINGE when I order anything on line. No joke, to be employed by the Postal Service in Shelton the requirement is that youre a Drooling Retard. I use to have a PO Box, because I purchased a house on the outskirts of town and they didnt deliver there. When I purchased another property (a hop and a skip away from the Post Office) which had a mail box , I made the mistake of giving up my PO Box. Years later and they manage to deliver one out of 10 packages. Last time I ordered 3 RC Helicopters from the same store, one helicopter found its way to my doorstep,.. the other two were returned... The reason: UNDELIVERABLE ADDRESS!!!!

I mail packages at least 2-3 times a week and have visited both Olympia post offices, the Allyn post office, Aberdeen & Elma and Shelton by far has the worst customer service - the employees are rude and abrupt, to say the least. Additionally, I have a P.O. Box at the Shelton office and I have continually requested that they do not stuff my box. Guess what they do!? Stuff my box. I have had many items that say on them "Do Not Bend" and they bend them and shove them in my box.

Pretty sad that I mailed my sweet brother in law and his wife a package and someone put the package in a locker for them to pick up but put the key in the wrong box and the person who the key was put in their box was a thief and took the package. So pissed I hate thieves. Thanks to the post office person that didnt pay attention to what they were doing. Dont think I will be mailing anything to their po box ever again.

This post office has lost packages on a regular basis. We are constantly having to go to the office to find out where our packages are. They either leave a key with an empty receptacle or a notice stating it was delivered, when we never received them. So when we go BACK again, they STILL cant find them, and tell us we need to come back because they need to speak to the driver. DO NOT MAIL THROUGH SHELTON,WA!!!!!!

Standard mail services provided by friendly, thoughtful & efficient staff. The casual small-town environment & fast, efficient service makes the Shelton PO my favorite of all those Ive used across the nation --- border to border & coast to coast. And frankly, I am perplexed by the mean-spirited reviews. Shelton IS a small town. Perhaps they reflect some sort of personal vendetta.

What a RUDE POSTMASTER! I just had to call this post office for help with a piece of lost mail. Not only would she not slow down long enough to understand the issue, once I was able to explain she simply said she would handle it and hung up on me!!! Wow. Go out to the Union post office, those guys are incredible, helpful, and so nice!

Lame lame lame. Second time not getting my change of address thru. Lost and returned packages. Headaches. I check in this time about my change of address and when checked back, have been locked out of my p.o. Box no mail. No change of address (they said). What happened to professionalism ? Thank goodness I am in another city now.

The phone they provide publicly 426-1476 is often unanswered and ends up going into a solid screeching sound influencing you to hang up. When trying to reach them during severe inclement weather about Saturday deliveries when the snow plow packed the mailbox in, impossible to contact.

Post office randomly choses days in which they dont deliver mail in certain neighborhoods. It is Monday its not a holiday and the entire angleside area didnt get delivered to. Quit wasting our tax dollars, do your job if you cant handle it let the private sector do it.

I Mail here and have never ran into any super long unbearable lines. Fast and friendly Mail service in a cool old original Shelton building. They have basic shipping products with few choices but they have the necessities.
