I used online click n ship for a package. Premium postage paid in advance, printed out my label. For the first time ever I scheduled a package pickup - I live 25 min away from post office, next day pickup was a fine, helpful option. Website verified pickup was available for my address, I chose where to leave it and included specific details, and received a confirmation it would be picked up next day. Next day, package is NOT picked up, but I get a confirmation email saying it was that included a confirmation number. REALLY? So what happened? Did the carrier actually physically scan my package tracking code on label and just leave it sit there? Just ridiculous situation. I had intended to do quite a lot more business with USPS due to the convenience of pick up since I live so far out, but UPS will take my shipping money and actually show up to get the package so I think thats a smarter option. Not to mention, any yahoo can steal your package when your carrier burns you on a pick up cause you cant trust them to actually do their job. Somehow our postal system has turned into a disgrace.

Remember when the mail man was polite and courteous? Our mail man shows up at all hours of the day, usually around 8pm or later, sometimes not at all. When he does show up and I have the joy of interacting with him he acts like a mute. He has not once said hi or your welcome or any other English word to me. He absolutely refuses to speak or acknowledge my existence. I can only assume that he has no tongue and is not capable of speech. Really pisses me off when I say hi or thank you to someone and they just stare at me .

This place deserves a zero. It constantly loses mail, mail gets delivered late and to wrong addresses. They do not own up to their faults. The time between February and to mid april where they lost my W2 form for taxes, my valentines card from family, two bank cards, and I am always getting mail to the wrong address. This usps is the worst one, they dont have enough staff because you can be in line anywhere from 2min-30 min. They need to get their act together. This is by far the worst postal system ive experienced

Why is it before an election and plus Im waiting for something very important in the mail that we have not seen any sign of the mail person on our street for 2 days. I cant believe there is no mail. We should be getting inundated with political junk mail with the upcoming election in November. I live on 9th between Hudson and Hemlock...right down town and there has been absolutely nothing for 2 days now.

I love this post office! Its an historic gem that is part of Longviews history and a tribute to the craftsmen and designers who created it. And the folks who work there are great. Great people working in a beautiful, historic landmark. Built in 1933 as part of public works during the Great Depression. The Art Deco styling and wooden paneling make this a truly gorgeous building!

Well I have mail that has been sent, I have verified that and it has not been delivered, so I am trying to call to see what can be done! Any hoo I have been on the phone for 10 minutes just trying to talk to a person!!! Now they tell me that it will be a hour phone wait, it will probably be the wrong department so I have the say that my experience has not been so good

The PostMaster is an awful excuse for a human being and shouldnt be working with people. Shed be better working at a morgue with her level of social competence on how to treat others. Ive heard menopause are a bi*ch but it doesnt mean you have to act like one

Had several packages that where "delievered." Turns out it was the next block over and the next block up. Luckily the people returned it and didnt try to keep it. Learn to read a shipping label. Your deliveres are a disgrace
