I had the WORST experience with them-Kirkland office. I bought a package for laser hair removal and I have one last treatment left. I called back in March to schedule an appointment and I spoke with a female that I did not get her name. She told me there is nothing available until today May 8th and we scheduled for 11:30 am. Usually I get a phone call, email, and a text a day prior the appointment. Yesterday I did not get anything from Aura Skin Care. I called today and I spoke to a female who apologized and said I am not on your schedule. She said she will call me with another time. I told her it is OK if it is next week. This is not the first time that this is happening. I had this happen before, to which I was OK. We scheduled another appointment to which I attended. I am always on time, and I always wait 10-20 min after appointment to get in, to which once I waited 30 min to get in. I never complained about that, nor wrote any negative reviews. I understand how systems work sometimes. This time I was OK as long as I have it within a week done. The lady said she will call me back. Since she did not call me, I called back and spoke with another female who stated her name as Rachel, whos language over the phone was not welcomed and very mean. She mentioned something about reviews and refusing services and hung up. I was surprised how unprofessional and stupid she spoke to me, a customer that was referring clients to their clinic. I called back to talk about it,because I did not understand her before she hung up.She spoke really fast and yelled on the phone. All that for rescheduling appointment that was supposed to happen today and was not in their system again?????? I was very very very surprised. It seems they do that a lot to other people.Canceling appointments or not having them on their schedule. When I called there was no one by that name, and she "Rachell" answered the phone. I wanted to talk to owner or manager about it, and she told me she is the only one, and not to call Aura anymore. I never leave negative reviews, and this time I had it. I am very unsatisfied and not happy the way they operate business and the people they hired to work for them. All I wanted is to reschedule for when they have time.It was clear the last girl I spoke to "Rachell" seemed immature, rude, and unprofessional.DO NOT BUY anything with them. You will get attitude, canceled appointments or forgotten appointments......They also never return calls, as I have left numerous voicemails.Their laser hair removal equipment does not work well either. Results will take longer than normal. Most important is their customer services is HORRIBLE. You have to feel welcomed when you call or go there, and you get opposite. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THEM!!!! You will be sorry!!!!

I wouldnt recommend this place. First of all, I was at the place few mins before my appointment and had to wait for an hour and almost 10 minutes. They dont even sorry or bother to explain why someone who has an appointment has to wait this long (the waiting area is right in front of the receptionist anyway). Somehow I feel its unprofessional. But thats ok for me since I was not in a hurry. Then, the long waiting time wasnt a problem anymore when I was informed that I couldnt redeem the groupon for the treatment I was seeking (jaw reduction) as they deem it as therapeutic treatment, not cosmetic treatment. What I could do is to pay the different amount from the price they cost therapeutic (I bought 279 for 40 units botox but if I want it to apply to my jaw, I then have to pay 221 more to total at $500). Well, for this technical problem, since Im not a native English speaker nor live/born here, so I thought to myself that perhaps I misread or misunderstood something (although I had done botox for aw reduction with other clinic, in Seattle, San Francisco and LA, for several times and none of them having this issue. To make thing worst, those clinic even use the same word/vocabulary and allow patients to choose the area as they concern). At first I decided tocancel the treatment and asked for refund but they told me that I have to deal with groupon myself plus the practitioner said one of the reason they cost $500 for jaw reduction by botox is because they will use 50-60 units depends on the case. So, an hour for waiting at the clinic, one more hour for commuting, and getting more unit of botox make me decide to give it a try. This is stiil doubtful, no solid evidence, but I absolutely saw my practitioner wrote "40 units of botox" on ,y profile. For me, beauty experience even with the reduced price suppose to provide me the reliable, relax, happy feeling. I dont even mind the result as I do understand each person react to treatment differently. But this place, make me feel uncertain/fuzzy. Finally, I left with my left cheek swelling a lot and I asked if is it normal and she said its ok and thats it. Honestly, Ive done botox for many times and never had the swelling :( The only positive thing about this place is the lady in the front desk -- she is really hilarious and lively though. I will never come back so thats why Id not recommend this place to other people. Totally not having a good experience.

Possibly one of the worst experiences Ive ever had when it came to an illegitimate business. I purchased a Groupon for Botox, and at first based on the Groupon reviews it seems like it would go smoothly. I set up an appointment like normal, and everything else fell apart right when I got there for my appointment. I filled out paperwork, the receptionist redeemed my Groupon, and I waited for over an hour after my scheduled appointment, nothing happened. The receptionist was hardly at her desk, so no ond a chance to get to talk to anybody. There were numerous people before we were still also waiting. One guy asked the receptionist how much longer it would be before his appointment would begin, and the receptionist gave him a vague answer saying that it normally takes this long before an appointment. She said they are usually really busy, which makes little sense as to why they would bite off more than they can chew by making people wait over an hour before they get their treatment, but I also did not get a fair warning of this while scheduling the appointment over the phone. There has been no clinic in my history that has made me wait past an hour after my scheduled appointment to get treated. So, I decided to leave considering I had other things to do in my day and anticipated this to take about an hour total anyways, not longer than that. The receptionist then became very bitter and difficult to work with. She gave me dirty looks, scoffed at my concerns and questions, and told me that Groupon will be able to refund me, which they didnt. Im assuming the people they treat with respect are the people that spend thousands of dollars on treatments, but otherwise they treat people that purchase their Groupons like cattle and herd us together in the waiting room without any sort of consideration for customer support. I regret purchasing this Groupon, and wish I would have been able to check out the reviews here on Google prior to purchasing that Groupon. I seriously, seriously would advise against buying any Groupon from this company, or wasting any other money on this disgraceful excuse for a spa and skin care clinic. The good reviews are probably on one of the rare days they decide not to unleash their pure evil on others.
