I very recently had the great pleasure of working with Brian Harwood to purchase my dream home; a one bedroom condo in West Seattle. I randomly signed up for Brian’s real estate class when I was in the beginning process of purchasing a home back in the winter of 2016; I had just been pre-approved for my home loan. I immediately found Brian to be extremely knowledgeable, attentive to the classes needs, and very connected to the belief : there- is a- home- for- everyone-we- just –needed- to- find- it. I signed onto Brian the day of our class and am so grateful! Brian effectively listened to my needs and excelled in formulating a strategy and action plan for my future home purchase. Brian recognizes the needs of others and reaches out to lend a helping hand in all areas of his expertise while building a very effective and trusting working relationship; from the beginning of our professional relationship I trusted Brian to provide me with his superior knowledge of the real-estate market and the best options available to me within the market and my loan range. As well Brian goes above and beyond the call of Customer Service; Brian truly cares. I have lived in Seattle for 8 years and have been renting an apartment and lamenting as I have watched the prices in Seattle rise more and more each year. I made the commitment in 2016 I would purchase in 2017 and my main goal was to stay in Seattle, but more so, to buy a home in West Seattle. Brian is AMAZING!!! He made our first time home buying experience in this crazy market an extremely easy and stressless process. While interviewing realtors, Brian stood out because of his superb experience and knowledge and his devotion to the client and their needs. He was always excellent at communication and very easy to reach when we had questions. He took the time to go to all the house tours with us and knew all the right questions to ask and all the right things to look for/look at while shopping for a house. We found the house of our dreams at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon and the sellers of the house were reviewing offers THE NEXT DAY and needed all offers to be submitted by 1pm Monday. Brian immediately set things in motion and was able to schedule an inspection for 9AM Monday and seamlessly worked with our loan officer to get our offer submitted ASAP before the deadline. And by Tuesday he called us to let us know we got the house!! Because of Brians expertise, we were able to beat out multiple other offers on the house. Not only did Brian secure our dream home for us, but he also got us in contact with a great contractor who is currently helping us remodel our newly bought home. Since Brian is so well-known and entrusted in the business, he also knows all the right people to help you, from getting the right loan officer to finding trustworthy inspectors and contractors. Brian and his team go wayyyy above and beyond for their clients. We will DEFINITELY be seeking him in the future if we ever need a realtor again!!

We had the pleasure of working with Brian when the market was HOT! Brian helped guide us in updating our old house from start to finish maximizing value, while still being cost conscious. He held our hand in finding a trust worthy contractor to work with, assisted with managing the contractor and remodel project and pointed us in the right direction for everything from paint colors, kitchen counters and everything in between! He provided staging which turned out perfect, added to curbside appeal by providing yard maintenance and his marketing materials were very professional. We could not believe what our house looked like when the project was completed and it was on the market! Brian worked with us through all of the ups and downs of this process, was incredibly detailed, and followed through on every level, which enabled us sell for top dollar. i was so amazed how professional, helpful and knowledgeable Brian and his staff were during my process. I was just trying to break even on an investment and he made me money being patient, using great follow up skills, working closely with my renter, taking professional pictures....he basically did everything for me and made my life so much easier....i was amazed how helpful he was and how he was so confident and good at what he does.....you can do no better than to work with Brian and his staff. Amanda was also terrific and a great help. i would definitely use Brian again and would recommend him to all my friends and family. he was incredibly honest and really knowledgeable of the area and real estate market. if you are looking to buy or sell a home and want to work with someone who is extremely friendly and professional, I highly suggest Brian Harwood. I would give him 10 stars if I could.....he takes his work seriously and has a very personable and positive attitude.....and you can trust him to do right by you....he has many great qualities...high level of honesty, integrity and great follow up skills. he will work hard for you and treat you with respect. I am so glad that I worked with him to sell my condo....he did an outstanding job and made the process extremely easy....he sold my condo in just a few days and made my family $$$. I have worked with Brian over the last 3 years to buy 2 houses, buy 1 condo and sell 2 houses. He is extremely thorough, professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He always gives his honest opinion on how to get top dollar when selling and has the network connections to negotiate the best deal when buying. I have recommended Brian to friends and family and they have all be very pleased with the results. Brian also has the network of professionals to complete anything that need to be done to prepare a house to get top dollar, such as staging, cleaning, painting, remodeling kitchen or bath. Brian includes free services such as cleaning, landscaping, etc. which are greatly appreciated when selling. He even had his cleaners come over to a new house we bought and had his team deep clean before we moved in. His assistant is always on top of things, with status updates every Friday, and attention to detail to keep things on track. I will use Brian again when my daughter sells her condo in the spring. I cannot recommend him highly enough, as I am now spoiled as to what to expect from a Real Estate Broker!
