I needed to move in a hurry. One of those "not really planned for" kind of moves. I did some hunting around online (to be perfectly honest) to find the cheapest unit I could get. I found Extra Space storage and their prices were far better than the competition. I decided to reserve a unit online (which was quick and easy). Reserving a unit online not only guaranteed that I would get a unit that was the size that I needed, but also saved me quite a bit of money. They offer discounts if you reserve online versus just walking in the door. The employees were extremely friendly (offering to stay open later to accommodate MY schedule) and the actual paperwork signing was easy and stress free. Since I was "bargain shopping", I wasnt expecting the nicest place. I was VERY pleasantly surprised. It was very clean, secure, and professional. My unit was clean, and though it is an indoor unit, I had no problems loading in everything that I needed including a drafting table and entire dining room set. They gave me my own keycode for the gate and a lock for my storage unit. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family. My entire experience with this company was extremely pleasant. Getting a storage unit was something I was dreading, but it ended up being the easiest part of my entire move. I am a single mother with a 1yr old child who was very stressed when I initially contacted ESS (extra space storage). Not only was I on a time crunch, I also had a million and one things to do. I first went to the Pac. Highway location in Lakewood. Sadly, the Manager was not very personable or professional. I arrived at 530 pm and was told, he was not going to stay late, he had a dinner date and he also cut me and my sister off several times. As a customer there is no reason I should ever be made to feel guilty for coming into an establishment trying to get service or help. I thanked him and left feeling overwhelmed. However I raced over to the Tac. Mall blvd. Location ran by KATHY AND STEVE :-) :-) :-) WHAT GEMS THEY ARE! Immediately I was welcomed by friendly Steve, and not once did he mention closing or him having things to do soon. He was so helpful, saved me money where he could, and best of all I felt GENUINE COMPASSION, in regards to my needs and situation. It made me completely disregard my previous experience and I am actually grateful I ended up doing business with Steve and Kathy instead. The customer service shown to me was more than theyll ever know. I will definitely recommend this establishment and continue coming back if needed in the future.

This place has by far been nothing but the best. I only worked with Steve here but his respect and professionalism was nothing but the best. Their prices might be a little high but they are very courteous and helpful. When the movers brought my household goods. A couple of boxes were backwards on the truck so they had to break them open. Instead of complaining and telling me I had to clean the area up asap Steve came by and swept up all the splinters and debris for us. Also, I missed a payment once because my bank froze my account. And instead of making a big deal about and threatening to kick me out. Steve called and let me explain what happened and we worked together to find a solution. Hands down this place has been the best service I have received since I PCSd to Washington. I highly, HIGHLY! Recommend this storage unit place if you need to hold things and cant at your own apartment or house. If I ever need to use a storage unite again. This will be the place I come. Ask for Steve and you wont be disappointed. The man is courteous and respectful and professional everything that a businessman should be. Thank you Steve for making my time at Extra Space Storage stress and hassle free. I wish your company the best of luck in the future.

The first time I showed up at Extra Space Storage, was the first time I had ever rented storage space. The staff was very patient with me and walked me thru the new experience and was very understanding that I didnt know anything at the time about renting storage space. I rented a unit that was very spacious and at a very fair price. The staff was always friendly to me. The grounds were kept very tidy, and I knew that my properties were safe inside my unit. Staff lives on site, so youve got security watching over your things protectively. It felt really good to me to know that. I was treated very respectfully by all of the staff. My first and only experience so far with renting a storage unit was a very good experience due to the staff being so very personable. Im so thankful for them and I highly recommend them to everyone looking for a safe, friendly, professional place to store their belongings. I give a 5 star rating to them for their excellent work.

Ok. I have rented here before and decided to give them another try. I let Steve know about a broken light where I could not see in my unit and was told it would be fixed. It took well over a month to get fixed while I had to use a flashlight in my unit. I needed a larger unit and decided to give them one more chance. I reserved a unit online and immediately drove over to the storage unit. When I get there Steve is giving it to some other couple even though he saw I had reserved it. Why reserve it online if 15 minutes later it can be taken by someone else? Horrible. I will pay premium and drive far but will not rent from extra space again.

Due to the 5 people that were supposed to help me with this move canceling at the last minute and then a back injury I occured while trying to do it all myself, things ended up taking me MUCH longer than I had originally planned. I was paniced about how I was going to get it all done. The staff went out of their way to allow me to use the moving truck three separate times which allowed my move to be much less stressful. I can not even begin to tell you how appreciated that was! The storage is in an easy location, priced well, clean, and the staff members are very friendly and accomidating. I will encourage anyone I know to use the storage.

Extra Storage on 80th street is excellent! From the beginning talking to the phone service people all the way up to talking to the management, the facility was amazing and very nice. Always helpful and willing to work with you, with a clean area and great storage area and facility. Steve was very great with helping me work out a plan and space that worked for me. I never felt like I was being pushed into a sale, they were great. Quite possibly the best business experience Ive had. I encourage anyone looking for storage to go here. I called and went everywhere, Extra Space Storage was by far the best, AND had better pricing.
