This place is SUPER understaffed in the evenings. I dont think I have EVER seen any more than 2 employees working the desk even with a line of literally 15 people out the door. Granted it a small location but they have 4 terminals, help each other out and keep the line moving. Upside is that there is a machine to help you send your packages if they require standard mailing options - but if youre sending something at the "media" rate youll need to wait in line and expect at least a 20-30 minutes wait.

Some staffs can be a little friendlier. Not saying they rude or anything. But a smile or warm voice wont hurt. I found they sell small roll of packaging tapes for $3.5. Call me whatever you want, all other post offices I have been to would help you seal your boxes. Probably its WA state thing. I agree with the other reviewer they always have no more than two person at the desk no matter how many people line up. I saw they rotate but only two were at counter at the same time.

My local post office wont even pick up the phone. These wonderful folks answered the phone and helped me with a package that should have been forwarded to a customers new address. This is light years ahead of other post offices Ive worked with around the country. TOP NOTCH!

I went today to send packages. The place has no air conditioning and was about 80 degrees inside, 91 outside. Come on US govt. treat your postal workers a little better! The service was prompt and everyone seemed pretty friendly, but the must have been melting!

Seems to be common place to not deliver packages to the apartment or "forget" them. Leaving boxes up in the middle of the entryway of a building where they can be taken is not acceptable. Deliver it where it goes, and if you cant, knock and say something.

These reviews make me chuckle!! Its a government "business!" What kind of service do you expect??? The employees dont have to be courteous or efficient. They cant get fired!! So I guess we just make the best of it or use another shipping service!! :)

horible service i called them and the guy started to yell at my to call back at 9. what kinda place would do that. UPS STORE ON MERCER ISLAND GREATEST SERVICE YOU WILL EVER FIND IN YOUR LIFE.

I really dont like going to this post office. Understaffed, long lines, with sullen, unhelpful staff. Its a miserable experience every time. Avoid if at all possible.

I never had a problem with doing business here but it was little slow when I stopped there.Could be fast service I guess.
