I am impressed. I had only worked with a staffing agency once before, with a pretty good outcome. So I had an idea of what to expect. When I went into Express Employment Professionals (Olympia, WA) I was greeted by a warm but professional atmosphere. The woman, April, that sits up at the front most of the time is informative, real, and very friendly. But nothing could prepare me for Dory Chase. Shes an incredible woman that looks like she walked out of a JC Penny catalog. Dont let it intimidate you. Open up to her, she will actually listen to you. I had had the hardest time getting work after I was fired for having Postpartum Anxiety. I told Dory all about my experience. My husband has PTSD also. So, we had some things to work around. Dory literally kept my issues and strengths in mind when looking for work for me. She thought the job I had originally applied for would be too much stress so I followed her guidance and we moved on to another opportunity. Yesterday, I was given the job permanently with full benefits. I can rest easy. The job isnt some hole in the wall minimum wage job either. Its a prestigious position right down the street from where I live. Typically I have to drive to Seattle to make this kind of salary so I am completely impressed. The staff at EEP will amaze you. The atmosphere is welcoming. You will seriously never find a staffing professional like Dory Chase anywhere else. She listened to me, she offered support, she didnt just sling me into the first open position available. She waited to find me the right fit and she did. I have to make myself stop talking about Dory, or Ill just keep going. Shes just really that amazing. I wish everyone that went to a Staffing Agency had this kind of experience and this kind of staffing professional to help them find the job of their dreams. I certainly did!

Rebecca is racist! So far my experience at express pros Olympia has been a discouraging one. I was 8 months pregnant when I started working for express pros. I had to work because my fiancé at the time committed suicide so I had to find work to support myself in the meantime. Unfortunately, I couldnt work for long because I almost sent myself into premature labor, resulting me having to call out. I called Rebecca and let her know my situation and that I couldnt continue due to personal issues. She had an attitude, as always and hung up on me. Months later, after the birth of my child, I decided to go back to work, but come to find out I had a 6 month block because of a no show.. REALLY! I was livid! I explained to her what happened, but according to the managers, she can do whatever she wants to peoples files. Rebecca is racist. I have heard complaints from all of the minorities that have worked with her and they all say the same thing. She purposely sabotages clients notes and gives temp jobs that do not hire so many of the minorities do not have a chance at being successful in the job field. Express pros Olympia discriminates against people of color by continueing to keep Racist Rebecca, saying shes going through things. We all go through things, doesnt mean she has to be an evil racist wench. Looking at all the other reviews, Im not the only one that has had issues. This place is worse than I thought. I dont want to deal with anyone else there except for April, whom should be the manager because shes such a lovely person. However, I will never come here for jobs ever again and I will not recommend this place to ANYONE. Wouldnt be surprised if they got sued. Good luck if you continue to go here. I advise you all find a better temp agency.

I have had the best experience with Dory at Express Employment Professionals! I began with her clear back in 2008 and after my first contact and meeting she had me placed within a week to a job that was perfect for me and that I loved. I was offered permanent employment in just 90 days with this company. Fast forward six years, and it was again Dory who I went to when I was looking to change my career path. She had me placed with someone within a month, this being a more selective field and she helped me over the next two years gain my skill set and experience for the new career path I was wanting to take. After two years, I was offered a permanent position with the one place I had wanted and it was all with Dorys help! I want to say also that Reid, the Branch Owner is fantastic as well. I interviewed for an actual position with the Olympia branch but it did not really suit my goals at the time. However, the interview process was exceptional and I gained a lot of insight for future interview processes. I have recommended Dory to many people and think they are a wonderful place to be a part of, whether looking for temporary or permanent work, especially if you are looking to change your career path and need work experience! 5 STARS 100%

The worst agency Ive applied at, they gave me the run around and I always called to check in every week as asked for jobs and didnt have any jobs available for almost 3 months. I have a part time job elsewhere thats why I didnt care much. The staff lady April is super nice and the rest is very rude and unprofessional. I took their office test and past and I also have a good reference and experience in office /clerical job. After waiting this long, and they told me that they cant give me an office job because the lady thats in that department said Im not qualify. I have 4 years experience at previous job. I just resign my job, due to I had to move here to Washington. I also use to work at employment agency for 3 years and and did clerical for 5 years. But I guess Im not qualify enough. And after saying that, I was pissed, cause they shouldve told me this 3 months ago, rather then giving me the run around. I just thought writing my experience on here might help someone else whose going thru the same experience as I was. Good luck!

I have had a wonderful experience with the Olympia Express Employment Professionals office. The front desk clerks were friendly and helpful and immediately got me started on my path to employment. The turn around was extremely fast as they called me back that same day for an interview with Dory Chase, the Office Manager and Staffing Consultant. I have extensive office, IT and customer service experience, as well as a M.S. degree in Geographic Information Systems and Technology. I went into Express expecting to find temporary work that would pay the bills while I found a career in my field, however, Dory immediately found me an IT position that is far and above what I was expecting and opens up many opportunities for further government based employment. I can not express how thankful I am that Express went so far beyond my expectations and found me an opportunity that will utilize my skills as well as allow me to support my family.
