I started at Vigor about 5 weeks ago as part of a transformation contest. Going into it, I was inspired by what I had heard about normal people seeing big results and remaining dedicated to it. Ive always responded to exercise but also find it hard to get motivation! I started strong at Vigor Ground and was loving the program and then my notorious knee issues started back up (have had issues all my life and weight gain has only made it worse). I thought maybe I would have to stop. Working with my coaches I was told, "we have a lot of options and quitting isnt one of them!" So I have kept at it, adjusting my workout so I dont have any pain. In the first four weeks, I lost 13.6 pounds!!! But more than that, I have seen so much improvement in my mental health (not talking bad to myself all the time) and my headaches which were an almost daily occurrence have become rare. The support is incredible - from the coaches and other members. Imagine...random high-5s from other people in class, personal instruction on form, cheering you to work harder, finish strong. Its amazing! My husband also joined with me and now in our free time together we are active instead of laying around watching TV and we make sure that the house is filled with healthy, natural foods. With all this support around me, I cant fail to achieve my goals. You will feel the same if you come out! Try a Saturday boot camp for charity $10. It would be a great way to start, youll love it!

I must say it has been amazing ride seeing what Luka has accomplished in these last 5 years knowing him. I remember when he worked at the pure fitness now known as La Fitness. I still remember the first day I meet him back in 07. I had just got back from a long season of playing baseball with Tampa and one of my friends told me about this guy who could turn me into a beast. Of course I didnt believe a word that my friend said, but that would all change after my first training session with Luka where I thought the 15 minute warm-up was my workout. Little did I know he had a plan to kill me and that he did. Since that day he has lifted me to heights that I could never imagine and made me believe in myself even when I didnt. Luka is not only an amazing trainer, but also and amazing friend. I can truly say that he is my brother and I appreciate everything he has done for me. Also the staff Albert, Diana, Mesha, Tyler, Tiffany, Adrian are all amazing as well and add different flavors and styles to the training to keep it fun and energetic. I would say if you are looking for a gym that will get you the results you want hands down its Vigor Ground, but if you are also looking to have a good time and to be part of a life long bond and family you found the right place. I love you Vigor ground Family and thank you for being exactly who you are which is amazing people!!!

I started training at Vigor Ground 1 1/2 years ago. My goal was to turn 65 and join medicare in the best health ever! I succeeded--Sept of 2011! Ive gone from holding a plank on my knees for 3 seconds before collapsing exhausted to the ground, to keeping up with many of the regulars--even challenging some of them! Ive lost 70 lbs and gone from size 20-22 to a solid size 10! The trainers accomodate all levels from ellite fitness competitors and athletes to those like me who could hardly do anything! I love boot camp and am there 4 times a week! Its NEVER dull, never the boring repetitive routine of other gyms where Ive worked out! My body never gets a chance to adapt to an exercise because they are always changing up the routine! Great combination of challenges with circuits that work all my muscles, getting my heart rate up there, adding just the right breaks--like 10 seconds--to make it all work! Exciting to come each time wondering what it will be today!! Im in and out in about 45 minutes with an amazing work out that leaves me exhausted for the first 10 minutes after boot camp, but then rejeuvinated for rest of day! Positive, encouraging atmosphere with staff and fellows boot campers who believe you can do it and help you prove just that! I love this gym. Ive been a member here for about 2 years and I can tell you, you have never been to a gym like this. Ive been into exercise for a very long time and I thought I knew it all before I came to this place. Once I started going here, I realized I didnt have a clue what I was doing. These guys have totally change my perspective on working out and living a healthy lifestyle. As an athlete, they have helped me reach a new level of athleticism that I would never have reached on my own. As a person, Ive not only grown physically stronger, but mentally tougher since becoming a member here. If you need an example, take me. I went from not playing any club rugby for almost 2 years, to making a premier team in Seattle thanks to Albert, Luka and this gym. These trainers will all push you to your limits, and then exceed them like they werent even there. Its one of the most welcoming and informative environments Ive ever been in. Its fun, the people are great, and I cant even tell you how much I owe to Albert and Luka for all the knowledge and opportunities they have given me. Its truly a great place that will change your life, whether youre an athlete or someone whos trying to live a little healthier. Whatever your goals are, this place, these members and these trainers will help you reach them.

I am addicted to this place! From my first week at Vigor Ground I was hooked! I have done several things over the past 5 years to get myself back into better shape. I started by joining the big box gyms and got bored quickly, waste of money... Then I bought a bike and signed up for STP, I started to see a change then, but still didnt get where I wanted. So then I signed up for a half marathon for more motivation (I hate running!) and that got me a little closer but still not there. I saw Vigor Ground on a Groupon and bought it, with hopes that this would finally be the thing that pushed me over the edge. And it was!! The trainers there have pushed me closer to my goal than ever before. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel with the body I have always wanted. The trainers get to know you personally and take you under their wing to make sure you see the results you desire! The work outs change up all the time so you will never get bored, after 5 months they are still surprising me with something new! I encourage anyone just thinking about it to just jump in and try a Boot Camp For a Cause on a Saturday at 9am ($10- proceeds go to a chosen charity)!! I often go to get in an extra work out!
