Frustrating place. Arrived in pouring rain with out of state family who had never been their fathers (my brother) grave, deceased for 38 years. I had only been here three times, including the funeral. Went to the office to obtain directions. Given a map printed with street names and a highlighted route. After attempting to navigate curves, a roundabout and cross streets...it became glaringly evident that not one road was marked with a street name or signage. Six people wandered in six directions, asking some of the landscapers, who didnt know what we were asking. I walked in the drizzle far down the hill, my map left in the car, to the same stoic lady (who looked annoyed that I wanted help again). She went to her mouse and screen saying let me find it for you again and make another map for you. Thats nice that she can find it on her computer, but we need to actually find it outside, to walk to it. Without street signs, their maps are useless. This time I asked for staff to physically take me to the site, stating that none of the roads were marked. I young beautiful girl with a brain (what was she doing working with these stiffs?) was assigned to walk me. She knew exactly where to go, and stated that street signs were suggested to them for years, without improvement. Amazing. They would need about 24 high-quality stamped, enameled steel signs costing probably less than $2000 to make and cement in. Wow. Less than an hour of their cost-per-hour. This place is "brain-DEAD". And to the young lady...Youre too beautiful and alive looking to to be working here. Let the dead bury the dead, and the blind lead the blind.

During tragic times like this, a death in the family, people are susceptible to being taken advantage of by schemers and hustlers trying to make a one-time profit on grieving families. SHOP AROUND FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS!!! This was one of several place I had called asking for quotes for basic cremation services. I had One place quote me just under $1000, one quote for $800, and THIS PLACE QUOTE ME JUST UNDER $3500.!!! I went with Elemental for the $800 after asking details about services they had provided/included in their fee, which was everything Acacia had made it sound like was an extra service they would provide me with for a fee. Elemental Cremation Services Death Certificate +$20 Coroner Fee +$70 (in King County) Base price cremation fee $695 Acacia Cremation Services Death Certificate +$20 Coroner Fee +$70 (in King County) Base price cremation fee $3500 Literally every service they provide is the same, however, Acacia charges $2805 more for "additional fees". Odd how the services are the same with both providers, but the prices are so EXTREMELY far apart... Shop around. Beware people that take advantage of you during this difficult time.

When we lost my father suddenly, we didnt know where to turn to find a funeral home. We are glad we came across Acacia Memorial Park. They took care of so many details for us. There is so many things to plan in a short period of time while dealing with the grief. It was greatly helpful to have help them help with this burden. The service came together beautifully and was well organized. A year later, they put together a book containing all the messages that were written for my dad on the website. This was combined with slideshow photos, and poems, etc. We really didnt want to have to return to the Acacia to pick it up because of how sad we still felt about my dad. Someone from the funeral home drove it all the way to Lynnwood to my moms work to personally deliver it. What nice, caring people. I would highly recommend them.
