Its been a while since Ive been to the dry cleaners, economy & such. The dry cleaners near my work is owned by a husband and wife, Ive been there about 6 times, over the past year and a half - the husband works the morning shift, and I often drop clothes off at 7:30ish...I think the last time I droppped off & picked up my clothes, I spoke to a the husband. So, its been at least 3 or 4 months since Ive been to the dry cleaner in the afternoon. I walked in today, and the Mrs. welcomes me, I pull my clothes out of the bag - and she asks me if my name is XXXX (wow, I thought). Then she asked if the last four of my cell phone is XXXX. :) Incredible, She just made a customer for a very long time.

We lived in the University District for many years and came to use these folks exclusively because they were very helpful, economical and always on time. A few years ago we bought a home in Lake City and tried to find a reasonable and dependable dry cleaners near our new home. The results were disappointing, shirts were lost, prices were higher and would go up for no apparent reason and we were unable to find the friendly, dependable service to which we were accustomed. After a while we gave up and again take our things to Campus Cleaners. Its farther, but we try to time it with other nearby trips. We love the service these two folks give us, theyre extraordinary!!! I have brought my clothes to be dry cleaned here a couple times and the last time I went they shrunk my sweater. I brought it back and they said they would "fix" it and ended up just stretching it out so that it lost all shape. When trying to express my frustration with the woman she incessantly argued that it hadnt been shrunk and how it wasnt their fault. She refused to even give me a refund for the service (of ruining my sweater) much less my sweater. I wouldnt recommend taking your clothes there if you still intend on wearing them.

I asked for couple stitching for the hole on my jean and they patched a large jean clothe underneath and sewed up with a bright blue thread, randomly needled around the surface (no patterns what-so-ever, zigzag, star, octagon, you name it.) like a five year olds work. I wish I saved a picture of it but it was so bad that I threw it away. And they charged me for that junk for $18.

They are nice, well priced and almost overly accommodating. Needed pants cleaned, and he offered to wait for me to get to the shop, and I was offered to have pickup ready before 3PM same day. That service beats everything in the area!

I use Campus Cleaners quite often and the owners are so friendly and overly-accommodating. In one case I needed something within 24 hours and they came in early to get it done. Wonderful, I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Been going to them for a long time. Very cordial; ok, their English isnt great, but my Korean is really bad. Service as fast as you need. Not THE cheapest, but close to it. And good cleaning and laundering.

They do what they are supposed to do: alter and clean clothes. Everything else is extraneous.
