I have been to several mechanics but once I found My Mechanic, I stopped looking. I am a DIY guy but sometimes I dont want to buy a lot of new tools I wont use very much or sometimes I get overwhelmed. My Mechanic consistently charges way less than I expect them to. I read up on how to change my o2 sensor on my car and got the proper socket and some PB Blaster and got down under the car. It was rather inaccessible and I ended up slightly rounding off the corners of the hex bolt. After five hours of frustrating labor peppered with injurious mishaps I took it to My Mechanic. They were kind enough to tell me how I could succeed where I failed, like putting a propane torch on the area around the o2 sensor. I really appreciate their telling me how I might do it myself if I wanted to, as this is my own business philosophy in my locksmithing business. I had already lost a lot of jobs that day though so I asked them to just do it. They only charged me $45 to take the old one out and put a new one in. Then they refilled my wiper fluid and told me how much is left on my brakes. I also enjoy that Mr. DAngelo is personable and ribbed me a little. He said, "Bjorn, my sister could have gotten that o2 sensor out!" Always good times at My Mechanic, who also always has a dog biscuit for my girlfriends dog.

David is outstanding, bar none. He worked on my last 2 cars and was consistently excellent. Honest, timely, economically priced, always pleasant to talk to (warning: youll easily lose half an hour in entertaining conversation before you know it!). David always made time to check something out when a funny sound came up and never charged me for those quick "Bring it in sometime today and Ill have a look" diagnostics. Far and away the two outstanding moments: 1. I was on the way to a bake sale with a batch of fresh cookies, when I heard a rattling knock. I stopped at My Mechanic to see when I could bring the car in. David stopped what he was doing, looked under the car, tightened a couple screws, and charged me 2 cookies. When I drove away, the rattling knock was gone. 2. I now live in the Boston area with a car David worked on when I lived in Seattle. A part recently failed that David had replaced over a year ago. David took the time to find the warranty information, let me know he could replace it without charge, get the new part, and ship it to me in Boston because the supplier had no locations east of Michigan. When the replacement part arrived, I only had to pay labor to have it installed and pay to ship the defective part back to David. Saved me ~$800.

I completely concur with everything everyone else has posted. I have never been to a mechanic this honest before. I budgeted for brake jobs on all 4 wheels for a couple months and then took my car into David to have the work done. I asked for all 4 wheels and after an inspection, he came back and told me the rear wheels had plenty of life in them and definitely didnt need to be replaced. Who does that? What mechanic has ever refused money that you offer them? David is by far the most honest mechanic I have ever experienced. I recently bought a used car from a dealer near Davids location. On the test drive, I took it to Davids shop and he took 15 minutes to come outside and give it a quick once over. We looked at the engine, the color of the tranny fluid, the life left on the tires, etc. His opinion gave me the peace of mind to buy the car. Superb mechanic, absolute gentleman!

Without a doubt, the best mechanic anywhere in the country as far as I have seen. So many crooks and mechanics these days that are passive and act nice and all but will squeeze everything they can out of you whether it be unnecessary repairs or overcharging you for labor. MY Mechanic and Dave (the owner) and his team will never ever overcharge you and will never perform unnecessary repairs. As a matter of fact, there are times where they wont even charge you if it is just a small fix! They will clearly explain to you what is going on and always provide options for what you want to do. Ultimately the choice is yours. They deliver fast service, are very friendly and personable with all customers, and are 100% honest and in it to truly have your back and help you out!

Took the car in for a replacement door handle and broken passenger seatbelt. I live just a few blocks away, and figured it would be quick and easy. I was wrong. I was told they would call me when they had figured out what parts they would need, and give me an estimate. They never called. I went in and spoke with them. Somehow the conversation turned to vacuum cleaners. After almost falling asleep I was told that they would call me when they ordered the parts. They never called. I decided to just forget about going to them. I recieved a phone call more than 2 MONTHS after I Iast spoke with them, asking if I still wanted the repairs. I didnt really feel like giving them my business, and risk more complications.

I very very seldomly write reviews, but after my experience with these guys I felt I owed it to them. After another mechanic told me my tired 93 Corolla needed $3300 worth of necessary repairs, around 3 times the value of the car, I took it to My Mechanic on a friends recommendation. Im wary of mechanics because of how easy it is for them to take advantage of unknowledgeable customers, but these guys were completely transparent. They performed a complete inspection and told me that my car was in fact running great, noted aging components that will need replacement eventually, and made a few minor repairs. The entire cost was only $229. I was thrilled and would recommend them to anyone.

I recently went there after a co-worker had recommended them. I had my regular mechanic before and I thought he was good but these people are superb! I had issues with my brakes ever since my old mechanic replaced them and a couple of calipers. Dave, Caleb and their team are amazing. They tore my brakes apart and discovered the last guy had not greased anything! My brakes are super smooth now and no noise. I recently took my girlfriends car there too. They found some things that were causing issues and they fixed them all for a great price. They are honest and trustworthy...period!

These guys are amazing. My car is 16 years old with 167k miles, and its running like its new. And I owe it all to My Mechanic. Yesterday I had some brake work done, mostly preventative. And they found a problem with the brake light switch being faulty. So today I called to arrange when I can get that fixed. They came to pick up my car, take it back to the shop, fix it in about 30 minutes and brought my car back to me. Im amazed that any auto mechanic in this day and age goes out of their way to satisfy their customers like that. Kudo to My Mechanic.
