After the geeks at Office Depot were unable to figure out the problem with my Dell 2-in-One, the owner of this shop opened the computers back right there in front of me. None of this "leave it for a couple of weeks" stuff. Unfortunately, its circuits were fried, and it was unable to be repaired without replacing the motherboard -- a costly and not recommended option. The shop sells reconditioned computers, but this merchandise wasnt pushed. I was frankly informed that nothing they had came close to equaling my little Dell -- but that my models hard drive could be transformed into an external drive. This would retain the data from my old computer which could then be plugged into whatever new computer I chose in the future. Not only was the DIY kit price very reasonable ($22), but the owner assembled it FOR me -- for nothing! (And Im not a pretty young thing who might expect gratis services.) I think you can rely on this shop for honest advice and good service.

I needed help configuring a home wireless network. Office Depot recommended Quality Assured Computer Services. I signed a contract and scheduled a home visit. Steve, co-owner, visited my home, sold me a new router, added to my security system, but was unable to finish installing a remote camera because he identified a virus. At my request, he took my laptop to the shop for cleaning. Service was slow and the charges were high. I was sold an expensive proprietary one year virus protection. Now that I have a my computer back, working properly, I have repeatedly called Steve with no response and visited the shop, to complain to Jim, the senior partner, with no response. I would not recommend their service. I was overcharged for incomplete service and have been ignored since.

Our family was in need of a basic computer for my oldest son to use for Homework and to surf the internet. I contacted QA to see if they had anything in my budget that would fit the bill. Steve responded right away saying he had something that would work for us. He was very respectful of my budget, did not try to sell us anything we didnt need or couldnt afford. He even donated some extra items he had lying around to help us get set up. He even helped lug the stuff out to my car! The Service I received was excellent. They really went the extra mile for us, and I will be returning when its time to upgrade. I recommend QA to anyone who asks!
