I have never had this bad experience with a business since I came to OSU. It is so terrible that I have to write this review to warn other people. My laptop was working fine, only some of the keys on the keyboard didn’t work, so I brought my laptop with the new keyboard to Corvallis Technical on Monday for a keyboard replacement. They did install the new keyboard to my laptop, but after picking it up from the store on Tuesday, I couldn’t turn my laptop on. So now, I have a new keyboard but cannot even use it. I came in to talk to them twice on Wednesday, but they said it was not their fault and said my laptop might have been broken before I brought it in. Seriously, why would I want to pay to replace the keyboard if my laptop was not working? If it was the case, I should have asked them to fix it, otherwise there was no point to replace a new keyboard. They still charge me $90 to install something that I have no idea if it works since now my laptop no longer turns on. I asked them to give me a refund of $90 because it’s not fair for me to pay but not able to use my laptop anymore. The manager refused to give me back $90, but said to waive the labor cost, which according to him would be more than $90 since it takes more than an hour, to make my laptop functional, but I have to pay for the additional parts. Why wouldnt he want to give me back $90 when it could have saved him the cost? How can I trust this business again after what happened to my laptop? I have told a friend about my experience and he mentioned that he too had a bad experience with this place and would not have recommended them.

Weve been utilizing the services of CORVALLIS TECHNICAL for several years now. They have set us up with a server and several work stations. Their remote management program has notified and resolved issues with our server before we knew we had a problem. I have had several crashes on my laptop (not purchased from Corvallis Technical) and they have been in my office that morning and stayed until the job was finished. I even experienced an 11th hour hardware/software(not purchased from Corvallis Technical) malfunction as i was heading out of town for a seminar. Ben, the owner, dropped what he was doing to get me up and running and kept me on schedule to leave town.The customer service that Corvallis Technical has provided my company has been top shelf. I know how to run a landscape business not manage a computer system. I can confidently recommend Corvallis Technical.

The people at Corvallis Technical were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I had a brand new PC that I had built, that had never booted properly, and I had spent around 3 months, and quite a bit of money, trying to fix. After some bad experiences with a few other companies(frys etc.) I found Corvallis Technical and decided to try my luck there. They were the first place I had been to that made me feel like they were genuinely interested in, and committed too fixing my computer. Along with fixing my computer in short time and for a good price, they also gave me a ton of good and relevant advice and even offered to upgrade my cpu fan for free! If you are looking for a place to get your computer fixed I would highly recommend Corvallis Technical, because thats the place I plan on taking all my computer problems from now on.

My bank had requested I get my computer checked out for viruses due to some possible fraud activity on my online bank account. I brought my computer to your office on a Friday and was told it would definitely take more than one day to examine it. But I was called later that afternoon to pick it up. I didnt bother checking my phone for your call because I was told it would definitely take more than a day, so I was without a computer until the following Tuesday when I was back in town to pick it up. It would have been better to have been told of the possibility of it being done the same day. But I do appreciate that you worked with me to keep the cost down.

So now there are several employees and they are all so willing to help right away and so pleasant to work with. Weve always gotten a quick response and fast fix with any issues.
