The WORST cut I have ever gotten or at least in this century from DANI. I brought a photo of a cut I had that I liked, and the cut she gave me was nothing like it. When she was finished blowing it dry, I gently mentioned I didnt like the cut; she got very quiet and said no one has ever said that to her. (Really never? That surprises me that even a great stylist probably misses the mark occasionally.) The top was a mop layer, not feathered into the rest of the hair. Definitely not a short layered bob! So she said if she trimmed some off the length it would help make the layer less different-- it did to some extent but I still had a heavy mop on top, and the sides were crazy--uneven, laying oddly, with the right side longer than the left, and a chunk of hair near my neck left uncut on the left side. Also, I mentioned I just like to let it dry naturally, buts he in sited on blowing it with a round brush. She told me she never heard of anyone not using a dryer. Just know, I have fairly easy hair to cut (body without curls) and I am also not very picky about my appearance. In my life, some cuts have been better than others, but never have I felt bad enough about a cut! It was so awful I went to another salon and had it recut! As for the color, I felt my hair had gotten too dark recently, so when she suggested a all over foil, I agreed to try it. The color was okay but not what I wanted. It was expensive, and the highlights are not very much lighter. My hair is still very dark. I tried to talk to the owner (calling and leaving a message, stopping by and leaving my phone number for when she was out of a meeting, writing two emails complete with details and before and after photos. I EVEN mentioned Id love to post how the salon tried to resolve it, but she NEVER contacted me back. Silence speaks volumes. I hate to leave such a bad review, but I feel I had no choice as no one from the salon reached out to even try to make it better. Hopefully, there are other stylists who do a good job there, but in addition to a really bad cut from Dani, the customer service from the salon itself was really poor. I would definitely NOT recommend this salon.

I was definitely excited to try this place based on the reviews. I made my appointment, arrived for my trim on time, and as I was entering the salon I was told that my 10 month old baby (who was falling asleep in her car seat) was not allowed inside because of hairs and chemicals. Ive never had that be a problem before at other salons. They asked if I would like to reschedule and have someone watch her while I get my haircut, but I declined. I will take my business elsewhere. Im not getting a babysitter to get my hair TRIMMED. I believe Im supposed to feel pampered at a salon and not discriminated against. Not to mention I am pregnant and was almost in tears over this embarrassing event. Other customers were right there as I was denied service. It is interesting that a salon that advertises itself as friendly, is not welcoming to mothers. No thank you.

I just moved to the area and made an appointment here to get my haircut. I arrived early and was told that "shes just finishing up and will be right with you." 5 minutes later, Im told that they are running behind and will not be able to see me at all. They offered to make another appointment for me to get my haircut, but they didnt honor this appointment so why would I trust that any future appointment would actually happen. I understand that schedules can fall behind, but Ive never been anywhere for a haircut or otherwise where I was asked to make a new appointment.

From all the great things I hear about this place, I had to come! I dont get my hair cut often so I told Mckenzie to do whatever she wanted with it (without making it super short). I loved what she did with my hair! She is super personable and did an amazing job. If youre looking for someone to go to, go to her! Also, its really awesome that you can go on their website and they show you all the available haircut times and who is open to cut. I got lucky on my appointment, but if youre looking to get a haircut, I would book an appointment a couple days in advance.

When my hair is not straightened my natural hair is very curly and poofy. Preston did an outstanding job, she was my stylist but it also felt as if she was my best friend doing my hair. Preston didnt only exceed my expectations she really made my hair look amazing. Made my hair very straight, soft, & shiny. Preston was very loving and very kind, we had so much in common & connected well. She knows what shes doing & she loves doing what she does. Had a great haircut & definitely will be coming back in the future

I got a few recommendations for Maxwell Salon in a Kitsap Buy and Sell group on Facebook so I made an appointment for a cut ASAP . I asked the nice receptionist if they had someone who did really good short edgy hair and she said Preston , I took in a pic and Preston rocked it and did my hair up ! I Highly recommend the Salon , esp Preston , she was sweet , talkative and did an amazing job ! I love my hair style and will go back for my touch ups and more next time ! Thank you Preston !

This salon is amazing! So many talented stylists! Our favorite is Alicia and Sarah. They are both so nice and professional and treat their customers very well. Ive never had a go to stylist before. And Im 28. But since I met Preston here she has been doing my hair for over a year now and she is magic. This salon is great. Very bright and friendly stylists, and a comfortable modern feel inside. Definitely recommend Preston!!

I loved this place. I wasnt sure which colors to do to keep my hair natural-looking. This was the first time I actually enjoyed speaking with my beautician (Mercedes). My hair looked amazing once it was done. I will definitely return here.
