AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Very Unprofessional and heres why: We needed a new roof on our cottage. Hardt Roofing came out and looked it over and quoted us a very good price because they had left over shingles they wanted to move from a previous job. Then we got hit by a hail storm which damaged our house and further damaged out cottage as well. Hard Roofing came out and looked at our house roof and pointed out all the hail damage not only to the roof but to the gutters and windows. They told us when the insurance adjuster does the inspection "They will be right there with the insurance adjuster to make sure all the damage is recorded properly". We got the call from the insurance adjuster for the appointment to look at the damage and get the estimate. We called Hardt Roofing and he said, again, that he would be there with the insurance adjuster. (RED FLAG #1) The morning of the appointment Hardt Roofing calls and says "I dont want no part of it, the other roofers and insurance adjusters in that area where the storm hit are all fighting with each other and I dont want no part of it!" "Once you get the settlement well take it from there." A few days later Hardt Roofing phoned and informed us they were ready to begin work on our cottage and could do the job the next day. (RED FLAG #2) At 9:47AM Hardt Roofing calls informing us that the shingles he we had agreed upon had been stolen and he would need to charge us for more expensive shingles. We declined. Half an hour later he shows up with alternative shingles for the original quoted price and we agreed to use them. They pull their truck around back where our cottage is located and begin to put up ladders and plug in electric cords and get the job started. (RED FLAG #3) 4 MINUTES LATER the electric cords, ladders, truck and Hardt Roffing vanished without a word. Literally GONE. We called his cell phone in an attempt to figure out what was happening but they would not pick up. 10 minutes later they call back claiming they have no cell phone coverage in our area, by the way, we live in Boaz, WV and our family has service with AT&T, Verizon, and even TracFones and we all have Full Bars of signal strength. Hardt Roofing informed us that "Its too late to begin the roofing job today." That was Sunday, April 26th. Today is Thursday April 30th and we have not heard from or received any communications from Hardt Roofing. Needless to say Hardt Roofing will NOT be roofing anything for us. There are so many other incredibly professional roofers out there. Clearly Hardt Roofing is not one of them.

Hardt Roofing ROCKS! Our first experience with them was repairing the original clay tile roof on a 100+-year-old "flip" house. Dave Reinhardt went above and beyond to find a product that would perform as needed AND blend into the roof -- and it looks incredible! The gutter and downspout work they did has resulted in a VERY dry basement, even after heavy rains. Never thought wed see that in a house this old! Dave then replaced the roof on our own front porch. We had installed metal last fall, then learned that you dont want a metal roof directly under a prolific pin oak tree -- the acorns sounded like gunfire when they fell! We now have an attractive porch roof that looks incredibly strong and healthy. And my goodness do these folks work HARD! Watching them constantly moving throughout the day is EXHAUSTING. We are already asking for yet another estimate for the back porch roof of the "flip" house, and plan to call HARDT ROOFING when our own house needs a new roof in a few years! A great company to work with!

We had a pretty badly damaged section of roof on our old slate roof Victorian home. Water had been getting inside the house and we were in desperate need of fixing it. We had several companies come to give us quotes and everyone said we needed a new roof because it was too expensive to repair. David came out and gave me a quote within a couple days of calling him. He said Id be crazy to put a new roof on the house, as my roof was in good shape, just needed repairs. He gave me an extremely fair quote, and upon accepting it he was at my house within a couple days to start the job. Every day he showed up on time and went above and beyond fixing my roof. I am so glad we found out about Hardt Roofing. He does slate all the time, and it shows. Dont bother with anyone else, this guy deserves your business. I have already told him to get me a quote for my garage roof replacement, and plan to have him back to do general slate repairs in the future. Thanks a million Hardt Roofing!

I had recently used hardt roofing in a slate job, their workers showed up the next day after we agreed on a price which was lower than all other bids I got from 4 other companies in my area, hardt roofing got the job done very quickly, they are very professional, the work was flawless and they even fixed several things needing done that was not part of the contract. I was extremely impressed by their work and would recommend them to anyone needing any roofing. I was most pleased with them always cleaning up everyday, they always made sure i was satisfied with the work and they seen to it that safety was their number on priority not only for heir work but for anyone around the house. If you need roofing done this is the company who takes pride in their work and always makes each job look the best as possible.

Third Street Music is located in a hundred year old building with a slate roof. I had heard stories of amateur contractors who fix one slate and crack three so I called around. Hardt Roofing was recommended to me. They did a thorough inspection - inside and out. Not just "looking it over" from the ground; they were upstairs in the attic and outside with ladders - actually on the roof. They took pictures and explained the situation to me. The work was scheduled so as not to interfere with business operation. The time between my first phone call to the jobs completion was less than ten days. From the very beginning of the process of checking out my roof, explaining to me what needed to be done and giving me a fair and accurate estimate, David was very professional. His honesty was refreshing. I am so glad I hired Hardt Roofing. They showed up every day on time, cleaned up after each work day and even worked on weekends. My new roof adds so much to my home. Davids copper work is beautiful. He used copper for all flashing on my seven chimneys and made a finial for my turret (it is a eye catcher).
