I am beyond disappointed with the people and service at the Hudson Fantastic Sams. I had a consultation with the Senior Hairstlist which was advised when I called to make my appointment, because I was wanting to add blue color to the underneath of my hair, and wanted to know which route to go. The Senior Stylist (Cory) was so unhelpful when asking for advise, she didnt know the prices of anything when I asked. long story short I left there so unhappy with the results and I paid $185.00 to look exactly like I did when I walked in. She put in hi and lo lights in, and one half of my head didnt even take the color because she was in such a hurry to help a friend of hers who they booked at the same time as me, the color didnt sit long enough and she never checked it before rinsing. The next day I called to express my disappointment and to see if I could come back in to get what I wanted. The lady made an appointment with another stylist, when I went in, she sat me down and was talking so loudly, I felt belittled and embarrassed with the way she talked to me. She said that she heard the entire initial consultation and that the results turned out exactly as Cory described. She said there were things to do to get it the way I wanted but I had to pay and extra $160.00. After paying almost $200 already, I told her to forget it and walked out. These stylist are very cliquey and rude and I will never go back there, neither will any of my other family members who have spent a lot of money there in the past. Overpriced and crappy place to get your hair done! F-

I go to this Fantastic Sams location all the time..... The place is always clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly... Whether you have a senior stylist or a normal stylist Ive always had a great experience and was very happy with my haircut. I tend to try out different styles or get color added and Ive never had a bad experience. Even at the busy times Im usually in and out within 30-35 minutes unless they have a very lengthy wait which Ive only experience before the school year due to class photos etc. I used to go to the same stylist over and over but unfortunately she accepted a job at a high end salon in the cites so now I dont have my go to stylist but Its always been a good experience. The atmosphere is very nice as well. They have a lot of windows and natural lighting since the space they took over was an old mattress store but you wouldnt know it just by looking at it. This place has the feel of a high end salon but without the ridiculous prices. They also offer specialty hair cuts for events like Prom, Weddings, etc.

I usually have a great experience with hair cuts and my brows but will never get my hair colored there again. I had to sign a waiver because I box colored before, which has never been an issue at the numerous places Ive been. First, my peek-a-boo highlights dont even really show. Total waste of money. Ive had these done under the same circumstances at other places with no issue. The worst part is the very visible lines of color on my head from the overall dye. This has happened before. I just spent 20 minutes trying to shampoo and scrub them away and they are still very visible. I do a better job not staining my skin when I do it myself. It seriously looks horrible. Very disappointed as Im leaving for a trip abroad on Wednesday.

I have a 2 month old son. I am not one to complain, but this was the first opportunity I have had to have a cpl hrs for me in this 2 months. Supposedly thick hair is not something they are capable of cutting. This is the second time I have given this place a chance and the second time I had to go back for them to fix it and my hair still looks horrible, even after they "fix it", which consisted of them dry cutting the staircase that was cut in it this first time. Customer service was horrible, haircut was horrible, I will never go back here and will never recommend this place.

Hudson staff were quite unprofessional. Check in women "misheard" my request and added a wax fee that I didnt request as well as having a "student" stylist when I requested a regular stylist. The student should have been supervised for her work. My cut was simple a trim with some face framing. I requested not to have the fading start so high on my my face. It was too late once it was done. I cannot blame the student for not doing a very good job because she is a student. The management or lack of management is the cause of the issue. Will not be returning.

The staff at the Hudson, WI store are very rude. My son got his hair cut there and the woman was going so fast she didnt even apologize when she hurt his head with the razor. The cut was very uneven and the woman seemed irritated when asked if it could be fixed. Um HELLO! Im paying you $18 for a haircut that took you all of 5 minutes! The receptionists and stylists are very rude here. I will not be back. River Falls, WI staff are amazing and friendly, Hudson should take note.

I took my son to get a haircut this afternoon. They were busy and shortstaffed and asked me to make an appointment. I did for later in the afternoon at 4:30. We arrived on time and checked in. After waiting 20 minutes I went to the receptionist and asked her how long it would be. She went back and checked and said it would be another half hour. Then she asked me if I would like to make another appointment. Really? I had an appointment. Moving down the road.

Although Ive had my hair colored a number of times over the years - and been to other Fantastic Sams - this was a real disappointment. It was hard to get accurate price information (ended up being double of the original quote), the stylist was sloppy - dye on my neck, ears, sideburns and clothes - and the process was slow, thus, burning my scalp and ears. Disappointing. Ill recolor myself.

Make sure there are not many cars in the parking lot before going here. I was told it would be a 30 minute wait, so I waited, and waited, and waited. After over an hour, with everyone giggling and screwing around in the back of the store I left, without getting my hair cut.

I had such a great expirence my hair stylist was Jessica and she cut my hair exactly how I wanted it ! I was so happy with the results! It looked better than I thought it would I cant wait to go back and have her cut it again because I know I will love it just the same !

Ive come here many times and each time have had a great haircut. Usually I stop in, get my name down and then come back near the time they mention which works out great. All the ladies are sweet and always make me feel comfortable. Again, never a bad haircut here.
