Please note! I NEVER send bad reviews! I am the Front Office Manager at a Country Inn & Suites in Madison and I was appalled at the way the gentleman spoke to me over the phone. (10/3/14 9:30pm) I was simply trying to find out where a guests taxi was as the he came down and asked me to call because he had been waiting an hour. This man literally talked to me like I was stupid! He treated me with 0 respect and made it seem like WE were inconveniencing him! He kept going on and on about how he didnt make any promises to this guy on a eta and how the traffic is awful because of the construction. I live in the area Im well aware of the traffic. As does ANYONE in town right now. He also had no clue who my guest even was. Didnt get a name or a room number when taking the call. Even the guest himself was brought back by this man when he first placed the request. I told this guy that I was checking on this for a guest and that he didnt need to be rude to me; he didnt have much to say to this just continued saying the same thing he had before. I then told him that I wouldnt be recommending Badger Taxi to anyone I new especially our guests! We take pride in our amazing staff and costumer service! You should too! Its no wonder you only have 2 stars. Now I know that whoever is looking over this review is not the gentleman I dealt with and Im sorry for my bluntness. However this man was over the top and I feel he should be penalized for his actions as you have for sure lost a great source for business from our hotel. P.S. I called Madison Taxi and they were here within 10 mins of my call and the guest was VERY upset! Simply unacceptable.

Ive called this cab company twice now.. Once two weeks ago and then again five minutes ago. The first time I called, the man was very short with me and not customer service friendly. The cab driver who came drove recklessly, wasnt short and spent the entire drive competing for other pick-ups over his walky-talky. I just called again, Its 2:30, I gave the man my information and said Id like them to be there at 3:00. He replied, "Oh no, we dont take short term reservations like that." and then he hung up on me. What a sweetheart!! The voice sounded about the same as the man who answered the first time I called. Ive worked in customer service for five years, I know that this is not the way you treat your customers if you dont want them to return. I know that Badger Cab doesnt attract the most desirable customers, it is cheap and affordable to those who are lacking transportation.. But that doesnt mean that every customer is trash and it certainly doesnt mean that you can treat them as if they are.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME! where do I begin. I knew I stopped using Badger Cab for a reason. Before I get in the cab I see the driving texting, not thinking much of it I get in. Sat in the back seat, directly behind the driver. He didnt say "hello" or anything for a min or so (because he was texting). Then He says in the same breathe "hello I hope you dont have a credit or debit card my machine doesnt work, and I hope you have exact change since I dont have any change since my shift just started". Luckily I did have exact change (to be honest I think my $10 could have been better spent). We squeal out of my work drive way (so im sure I will hear about that tomorrow) and he takes off down the street. I work in a residential area so you should really be going 25 MPH due to children/animal. We did drive by a speed sigh that flashed, he was going almost 20 mph OVER the speed limit. not to mention he was TEXTING and DRIVING!! are you kidding me!! I WILL NEVER take BADGER CAB ever again!

My friends and I had a wonderful experience using Badger Cab this past weekend on October 15. We were having a great time on Regent Street during the game and needed transportation from Camp Randall to TGI Fridays by East Towne. We had 13 people total. 5 people choose to take an Uber and the remaining 8 of us used Badger Cab. Both of our cabs arrived in under 10 minutes despite the crazy game day traffic and brought us all to our destination safely. Due to surge pricing, our friends who took an Uber were charged $44 and we were only charged $17. Needless to say, our friends were more than happy to use Badger Cab for their ride home instead of Uber! Tommy is by far not only one of the best cab drivers I have ever had but also an all-around great guy. He is going to be a great dad! Matt at dispatch recognized my number both times I called and was exceptionally helpful coordinating our pickup location amid the craziness on Regent Street. I highly recommend Badger Cab

I can tell you that Union Cab drivers are the worst as far as their ability to drive. I never felt for my life in a Badger Cab. Badger Cab is a shared ride service and so it takes a little while to be picked up. Ive seen some people denied because they lied about how many people were in their party and the cab couldnt fit them all in the cab. The phone service has always been rude and Ive never been able to schedule ahead of time. I now know someone personally that is a cab driver and so I now get better service. Personally I think this is average for a college town. There are other services available. Personally if Im looking to be picked up right away I use Madison Cab. If Im looking for a free ride through SAFE, then I have to use Union. If Im looking for a cheap ride, I use Badger. They now accept credit cards. If you have a specific time to get somewhere, call Madison Cab. They are nice and reliable, but expensive.

So I read the reviews but decided to take a chance with badger cab anyways. I did an online reservation at 7 p.m. for a 9:15pm. Pick up. The cab ride was for my 14 year old and I put that I would pay with my card when they dropped off. Green can allowed this so I assumed they would. I spoke to a rep. At 9:15 to inquire about their location and was told they were trying to get a driver on the northside. At 9:45 I received a call from a rep Saying they just saw the comments and would only send a driver if I paid in advance. WHAT? THEY DIDNT KNOW THIS BETWEEN 7 ANS 9:45 PM? SO REALLY THEY WERE JUST NOW TRYING TO GET A DRIVER OUT. I told him I had just called another cab right before he called and before I could finish my sentence he says in a very rude tone...Well thanks for calling to cancel. THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER ALL THE WAY around. They only got the one star because you have too hit it to comment. #suckyservice

Badger Cab is frequently over 30 minutes late. On my most recent experience, my girlfriend and I waited over an hour and still no cab showed up. Throughout the hour, we called several times to verify, and the dispatcher stated the cab would be there in 10 minutes. We subsequently called Madison Taxi since our other cab did not show up. Madison taxi arrived in 5 minutes. On a call to cancel our cab, my girlfriend decided to ask why our cab never showed up in that hour. The dispatcher subsequently yelled at her questioning "how would she know if the cab didnt arrive if we werent there?" The dispatcher then hung up the phone. This was poor customer service. Yes, maybe the cab did arrive after we left, but I feel waiting over an hour for a taxi when they say it will take 10-15 minutes is ridiculous.
