I called to have an estimate on my Prius and was told I could come right over for a free estimate. Upon arriving I filled out the pre-paper work and then was told I would have to pay a $100 deposit to have this estimate written. Upon further inquiry, I was told that Carstar-Milwaukee Collision has wrote several estimates for me in the past few years without ever having the repair done by them, so they would not write another estimate without a $100 deposit. An neighbor backed into me, while being parked. I thought using them would save the 4-5 day car rental needed from a previous estimate. The reality of a few previous damage was to an older 97 Suburban that were not worth doing. Another was a small dine size dent from a bike falling into lower unseen area of vehicle. The final is in litigation for damages and personal injury. Being rudely surprised by Chriss request for money seemed at best wrong. He stated that they rather write estimates only for people whom expect them to do the repair.

I had such a great experience with these guys. I got hit in may and was going through the other partys insurance to get my car fixed, State farm. State farm refused to reimburse me for anything that was previously damaged. My car being a 2001, had a lot of minor damage, so even though the lady ruined my entire drivers side and front bumper, all they would reimburse me for was the scratch on my drivers door. Chris sat on his computer and worked some magic so that i only had to pay 300 extra dollars for everything to be fixed. Everything went smoothly and they worked very hard to make sure I got my car back on time and didnt have to pay anything extra for my rental. Deb was even willing to meet me at 7:00pm to get me my car back. And the work they did was impeccable. It looks brand new. Chris, Deb, and Tony are great!!! I recommend them to everyone!

I have, unfortunately, had to use their services quite a bit and am on a first name basis with Deb and all the others over there. They do superlative work, but more than that, they are professional, personable, and responsible, and I have never had a negative experience there. They are always my first and last choice for auto body work. Dealing with car damage is never fun, but they go a long way towards making it a less uncomfortable experience.
