I noticed you all deleted my reviews on your website. im sure this review will go no where, but I thought id give it a shot. in January I took my truck to midas in clanton to get a new set of tires and rotation. roughly $1300 that was spent on it. I can get the correct amount if needed. a couple of days later, I got a phone call and to give a review. I gave them a good review. on 2/27 I took my truck back for an oil change. as I promised Jack that I would the next time I needed one. they changed my oil. the next day, I checked the oil as I always do to make sure no one messed up. A quart and a half of oil later, I got it to show correctly on the dip stick. I work out of town so I wasnt able to take the truck back for them to fix their mistake prior to having to leave again so I did it myself. The next week, I told my wife to take her car by there and get hers changed, and also get her tires rotated and an alignment. I came in later that week and told her to take it back and tell them to double check her oil and to rotate the tires and tell them to make sure they get it right because they havent gotten it correct yet, including my last oil change. She wanted me to talk Jack so I told her to have him call me. He then stated that they must have forgotten to tell her that she needed new tires. So I bought 2 new tires from them. Roughly $280. Now thats a total of $1300 for my tires + $280 for her tires and $60 for 2 oil changes. Giving the benefit of a doubt. I took a coupon for a $19.99 (I believe) oil change in on 4/2 to get my oil changed again in my truck, and also to get the tires rotated. he told me the coupon was no good as mine takes more oil than the coupon is good for. So back to the $29.99 cost. Which is fine. I know my truck takes 7.7qt of oil. I was sitting in the lobby, the mechanic came out holding a lug nut that look like it had been beaten with a sledge hammer. He asked me "who were the last people to change your tires?" I told him that this store was the last one. he said that they were put on extremely too tight so when he went to take them off, it stripped the head off the nut and he had to beat a smaller socket on there with a hammer. he said dont worry, well make it right. a few minutes later, after making sure the tires were rotated, Jack brought me to the counter and told me the total. Close to $50.00. I asked him why so much, long story short he was making me pay for the $14 lug nut. so I told him I shouldnt have to pay for it. I also reminded him of all of the things that they did wrong previously. after which he responded that "well I guess you expect everything to be perfect". after a short back and forth, he ended up not charging me for the lug nut, which is immaterial at this point. So when the guy brought the truck around, I handed him $14 and told him to give it to jack, tell him who it was from and that he would know why. the next morning as always, I checked the oil. It did not even show up on the dip stick. 2.5qts later, I had it where it was supposed to be. Midas, I dont expect everything in my life to be perfect. But, I do however, expect something as simple as an oil change to be perfect. My family has spent close to $1,700 since January in this store and NO visit has been without mistake. I will not be back to this Midas store, nor any other Midas store. Your people need to understand that it is imperative that they perform their duties PERFECT. Peoples livelihood (my truck) and peoples lives (my wifes car) are dependent upon it. if I had not checked the oil both times in my truck, it would have damaged the engine, making it near difficult to work. If I had not double checked to make sure they rotated my wifes tires, she could have been injured or killed due to us not being informed that she needed new tires. Please make this right.

I took our car to midas for brake and wheel work...5 hours later after picking up the car from Jack (manager) and paying him a chunk of cash (over $500) front tire locks up and the car skids down the street and now will not go forward and a we have a busted wheel and rim....thankfully no one was hurt! Come to find out some nut job decided not to tighten a bolt so the rotor fell into the brakes causing it to lock up...now I would think people that work on cars would atleast go behind to inspect and make sure everything was properly tightened and safe to drive!!! Needless to say come Monday I will be back at midas with the damn car on a tow truck!!!

Worst service and tire techs imaginable! A simple tire repair turned into a quote on 4 new tires, refusal of repair to a repairable tire and a shouting match. The sumitomo tire in question had 6/32 tread left on it. In these times, honesty is key and they are very dishonest. Management is very poor. Midas will never see another penny from me, my family and friends ever again....... thats a promise! And I know your response will be a very generic" sorry for your bad experience, please contact us". Naw, not happening.

My father-in-law took his daughters car in for a warranty flat repair last week and was told that there would be a 30.00 charge. She paid extra for a warranty package and he was harassed and disrespected. I called the general manager, Dwight and got the run around as to be expected. This shop in Clanton AL has no integrity and very poor management. Jack is the manager at the Midas location in Clanton AL. and is horrible. They will not honor there warranties even if you pay extra.

They had helped me in time of need and they are reasonable and very reasonable in their prices. As of now 9/17/16 I had tried to pop my hood and couldnt pop it because the thing that you pull out to open it wouldnt open and midas is the last person who popped my hood to change the oil. Now they are not sure if they can pop it open to change my oil

They are awesome! They go the extra mile to make sure your car (and truck : ) is done right. The manager and techs are friendly, knowledgeable and help keep costs down. I would highly recommend Midas Clanton to everyone! Thank you for taking care of mine and my friends vehicles!

Hi!! I just would like share my experience with Midas. Jack is the manager and because of jack I have had a wonderful service at the Midas in Clanton Al. Jack has always treated me very well and I will continue to do business as long as he is there.
