Once upon a time, I had someone to take my laptop and PC repairs, however that person moved and I have really missed the service. There come those moments when we finally make that decision to get work done, (e.g., staples, geek squad, etc) so we utilize our Google opportunity(s). I searched Google for computer repairs and picked Protek, basically because of their advertising, meaning I don’t want to hear how many hours I have to pay for labor, I honestly simply need my laptop fixed in a hurry and their hours of operation allowed me time to stop by after work. Long story short, I had no idea what the technician was talking about concerning what possibly could be wrong with my system, but I was impressed that he knew exactly what I was giving him, right down to features of my laptop even without opening it and he sounded like he knew how to find the issue. (I felt he had experience) Less than a day, it’s fixed, I actually felt like I was a customer, not a number, but if I was a number, I was #1. Honestly, I actually felt that way, not just writing this because I’m a happy customer, however because it was a pleasant experience. I got out of there at half the cost I was quoted, meaning they could have charged me the quote of which I agreed, however it was less and that’s always good news. I trust this company, Laptop works great; I believe in Protek, I strongly feel they will succeed. It’s great to feel like a customer and get excellent service at a reasonable price, if you are reading this trying to find that new connection for your IT needs, try this company out, you will not be disappointed.

Ever get that sick feeling in your stomach when youve messed something up? That was me. I had taken apart my laptop because of excessive dust on the fan and the put it back together incorrectly. Seeing an ad for a national company in Huntsville that did computer repair I took it there. 3 weeks later and I get a call that says they cant fix it locally and need to send it off, $75 please. Discouraged, I collect my laptop and buy a new one. But then I realize I need documents that were stored locally on the old laptop. So searching the internet, I find ProTek. I call and they tell me they can recover my data. So I bring my old laptop and then they say, hey, can we try and fix it? Sure, I say. One week later, theyve fixed my laptop, and its up and running for less then what I paid for a new laptop! Fantastic work! So before you take it to a national place, give the local guys at ProTek a chance to fix your laptop! You wont regret it !

I brought my laptop here for a screen replacement, I thought the price for my new screen was pretty expensive but then again it was my very first screen replacement. I rated this a 4 star because when I came to pick my laptop up they gave me someone elses charger so I sent my mother to swap it out for the correct charger not to mention how far we lived for the place. So when my mother went up there while I was working she brought it to me and it was the wrong persons charger again, luckily it fit my laptop so I just kept it and didnt go back up there. Because it was just to much gas waisted. But the repair was quick and only took 3 days and they also called me and emailed me when it was time to pick it up. But it is a good repair place in my opinion.

Took my wifes laptop in for repair, they fixed the on/off button. Brought it home and it worked 2 hrs and it wouldnt charge. Had to take it back in and come to find out they said the charge port was"loose"...lol. Fixed that now the headphone jack doesnt work. Guess its "loose" too..lol. Everything was perfect before they got it. Just a quick update, The same day i posted this Clint called me and was very eager to repair the laptop. I took it back in and he repaired the laptop himself. I am very satisfied now and would not hesitate taking anything to them again.

Very satisfied customer! The ProTek staff helped when my all-in-one started making strange noises. They trouble-shot the problem, made the necessary repairs, and repaired it for me. They did this while keeping me appraised of the situation and getting my approval before making any repairs. While they had it, they removed all the viruses and made sure all was in tip top shape for me! Our older laptop, running Vista, had become unusable. We took it in for repair, and we were told that it could be fixed, but that a better recommendation would be to just spend a little more money for a new laptop with Windows 7. This would result in Protek getting less money in the end, but was the best thing for us. We appreciated the help and honesty. We had no doubt about their abilities to fix what we needed, but ended up going new at their recommendation. Very happy, long-term customers now.

They are also very knowledgeable and well rounded when it comes to electronic care. Sometimes the emergency response time can be a bit longer than anticipated, but they are a small company and it is understandable in most instances. I walked in at 6:45 on a Friday night when they closed at 7. I just asked the man to see if he could see what was wrong but instead he insists on fixing it. Not only does he fix my charging problem but fixes my screen, battery, and charging port all at a discount because I had to wait. When I got there 15 minutes before they close. These people make you feel like a priority and while beating the price of their competitors. I gave them a 5/5 but they deserve a 10/5 man excellent experience!

Kept my desktop for almost 2 weeks told me it was fine and nothing was wrong with it. as soon as I got home with it was was having the exact same problem. They also tested a hard drive and told me it was also good. Ended up taking it else ware and and the other business fixed it in 3 days and told me that the hard drive in question was bad and unrecoverable. I will not recommend these guys for desktop repair.

Best Cell phone service I have found. They have fixed everything that I have taken to them and at reasonable prices. Dont give up on your phone until you have given them a chance. As examples they fixed my charging port, replaced the broken back cover, re flashed the operating system and even cleaned the front cover and Otter box screen before handing it back to me.

My Toshiba laptop crashed, and I thought I was going to have to buy a new one. Clint and his team at Pro Tek discovered the problem, recovered all of my valuable data off the hard drive, and had the computer back to me in a timely fashion. The charges were very reasonable and saved me a lot of money compared to buying a new laptop. I highly recommend Pro Tek.
