Basically, I was less-than-thrilled with the Computer Clinics ability to diagnose my problematic computer, seeming more concerned with selling me a refurbished computer from their store. I dropped off a laptop because it was stalling at Startup. Their assessment was that the motherboard was fried and that the computer wouldnt turn on. This was not the case because I was able to turn the computer on myself before I brought it to them. They tried to tell me that the computer was dead and that I should pay them to extract the drive, or buy another computer from them, as I mentioned that I wanted this laptop to work as a backup when my main computer failed. Actually, what had happened is that I mixed up the power adapters and brought the wrong cord in with the computer. When I got the computer home, I was able to plug it in and get the Startup screen to come on. I would have been happy with their service if they had had the intelligence to consider that I had mixed up the power cords. Instead, they talked down to me and refused to believe me when I said that, yes, the computer does turn on, and tried to talk me into buying a new desktop. I wont be going back.

So, there I was...About to begin a major overhaul of a business plan when I was greeted by a threatening BLACK SCREEN on my faithful, old laptop. Dead as a door nail with no revival in sight. A friend (now a very good friend) recommended that I take the computer corpse to Computer Clinic. Within an hour, I was greeted at the clinics help desk by Isaac, co-owner, chief operator. and computer guru. This guy is beyond good. He patiently and confidently took the defunct machine into his care and slowly talked me off the ledge. With laptop in hand and disappearing to parts unknown (probably heaven) for 15-minutes, he returned with test results, a band-aid remedy, and a recommended "permanent" fix for about 75 bucks. SOLD! I was soon tending to the task at hand -- cranking away happily ever after. If there is another computer repair clinic in Bloomington or another clinician like Isaac, I dont need to know the details. Ive found my computer restoration genius.

My husbands laptop started making a rattling sound out of nowhere. We researched places online where we could take it and The Computer Clinic came up. Since it had very good reviews we thought wed give it a shot. The second that Mike saw the laptop he already knew what kind it was and that itd be difficult to open. He not only found and fixed the problem (a loose screw) within 10 minutes, but he also cleaned the laptop and made it look brand new! The best part? He didnt charge anything. Yup... Thats right: $0. He said he doesnt charge for small things like that. We were shocked! Had we gone anywhere else we probably would have had to leave the laptop and pay an arm and a leg. We couldnt be happier with Mikes service and have already recommended him to all our friends. Also, neither my husband nor I had a Google+ account and we set it up just so that we could write a review -- this is how awesome this place is. If you have a problem with your computer, this is the place to go!

I took my computer in to the Computer Clinic for malware cleanup. I got nervous after seeing the poor review below, but I had nothing but excellent service! Not only did the employee explain their policies to me (which is all in writing and on signs in the store), but they explained they would contact me when the computer was done, or if they had other issues to discuss with me. I was amazed to hear them call back three days later to let me know my computer was finished, since I was expecting it to take at least a week! I have taken my computer to places like Best Buy before, but they charge an arm and a leg to have the same stuff done, plus Id be lucky to get it back within three weeks! Another thing, my computer was cleaned out and looked pretty when I got it back, a service that was free of charge. So, now I know where to go if I have other issues, because these guys do a great job and really try to make customers happy.

I have had a couple of great experiences at The Computer Clinic. Everyone who works there is extremely courteous and helpful. I never felt rushed when making decisions and always felt fully informed. I have bought a battery there and just traded in a laptop and purchased a refurbished one. They spent a lot of time with me, explaining my options and helping me make an informed purchase decision. They also transferred everything from my old computer to the new one and included this in the very reasonable price. I definitely saved money going there and am extremely happy with the service I received and with the laptop. I also know that I can return and get help if anything goes wrong with the laptop. I highly recommend The Computer Clinic!

I did the unthinkable and spilled some soda on my laptop. Even though it wasnt turned on at the time and the lid was shut, the liquid got into just about every place it could, and after doing everything possible to get it dried it would not start up. I was already mentally prepared to accept the loss of my files as well as buy a new laptop. But I took it in to The Computer Clinic and they saved it! A very friendly knowledgeable employee, a flat reasonable fee, and I walked out the next day with my laptop as good as new! You can bet Ill recommend The Computer Clinic to all of my friends, and it will be my first stop next time I have any computer issues.

Isaac was terrific. Extremely knowledgeable and personable, and he was able to take care of my issue promptly and effectively. I would recommend sparking up a conversation with him. I learned more about computers in the 40 minutes at his store than I have in the rest of my life. The Computer Clinic also has extremely low rates. I am an IU student, and he definitely takes care of his customers to say the least - especially broke college kids. IU wouldnt take a look at my device because it was a hardware issue, so I found Isaac on the internet and wouldnt hesitate to go back if I have any problems with my laptop. Thanks a ton!! Ive only dealt with one fellow here, but he is a life-saver. I run a couple local businesses and handle all IT myself, but when something comes up that I cant handle this is where I come running, and I always, always walk away happy with the service Ive been rendered and the price I paid. Not to mention Ive yet to ask a question that he even had to look up, seems he always has the answers or parts I need on hand and in stock. I really cannot recommend these guys enough, they are just so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly every time I interact with them, from the smallest questions to the biggest repairs. A truly A+ business.

Came back 2 years later after buying a laptop for myself here to find my wife a laptop, and the service is still the best around. Extremely helpful manager, great products, and simply friendly and helpful custom service. I have been to multiple other computer stores before, and Computer Clinic easily tops them all. Review from 2 years ago: Excellent service and performance. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I found this store randomly on Google maps and I am very glad I did. Will definitely be going back for any future computer work I need done. The other positive reviews on this site are spot on.
