If you are picky about your car and want certified parts put on your car, go to Excalibur. This shop used to be in Tempe and moved to Avondale in recent years. Matt the owner is a very hands on.He is always at the shop running around, taking calls, talking to customers, insurance companies, part shops,etc. This guy has a lot of energy and passion for his business. He is a perfectionist and wants the cars to look perfect. Because of this, he may come across a bit brash, but he is good. And he really cares about his customers and their cars. 3 of my family members went to Excalibur in the past years and had only raving reviews about the completed job. So when I got rear ended, I decided to go to Excalibur. Im very picky about my car and I dont like seeing anything done half assed. These days its hard to get good quality work anywhere on anything. This place does the job. The other persons insurance company wanted to pay for only a bumper cover but Excalibur talked to the insurance company and insisted they pay for a whole new bumper and not an after market one either. I read the other reviews and there were 2 bad reviews. Not sure what these people are talking about. One lady said Matt the owner was rude. Matt will tell you exactly what your car needs without any games or salesman talk. This guy has enough business, so he isnt going to try to talk you into getting your car fixed by his company. If you do go to Excalibur, they wont do a crappy job. If you want some cheap used or after market part put on your car by unexperianced people in 1 day, go down to south phoenix and get someone in a run down garage to do it for you. Excalibur charges a little more only because he has an experienced, clean staff, that cares about the company and their work.They only put certified parts on cars. The shop is clean and runs smoothly. They will treat your car with the best care and even wash it for you after. They put floor covers in your car before they get into it. Your car is safe in their care. You will not be disappointed. Also, the young lady that works up front, is a great asset to the company, along with Leigh, the body shop manager. Go check out Excalibur, get a tour from the owner Matt, look at his work. You will be impressed.

I took my daughters Jeep to this place to get repaired after she was involved in an accident and it was a terrible mistake. It took almost 2 weeks just to complete the estimate and almost another 3 weeks to actually get it on the frame rack. After that it was another 2 weeks before i got it back. Once i got it back i knew the minute i drove it that the vehicle was not repaired correctly as it vibrated so badly i had to take it to the dealer the next day where they found 2 broken motor mounts and a broken transmission mount which were from the accident. After that it had to go back to another mechanic at the Dodge dealer and have additional parts replaced that were missed in the initial repair. At this point i have been dealing with this for 2 months, the vehicle still does not drive right. When i confronted the owner Matt about the problems he tried to place the blame on me because i got involved at the end because it was taking so long and there were so many problems. At the end of the day if Matt and his incompetent staff would have done their job i would never had to have done anything other than pick up my vehicle and give it back to my daughter. Did i mention my rental car insurance benefits ran out also and i had to pay for an extra month out of my own pocket. Thanks Matt, you are a swell guy. These bad reviews are the real deal and since our business is right next to this shop we see other customers arguing and complaining about their work on a regular basis. Trust me you would be better off getting your car repaired in Sinaloa Mexico by the Cartel. Actually they are probably more honest. If there was a way to do negative stars i would.

Their time estimations are TERRIBLE! I was told my vehicle would be done on a Monday and when I went in on that Monday, I was ask to come back on Tuesday because my car was still being repaired. So I called on Tuesday before going in and they promised my car would be done latest by Friday morning. At this point I started to get annoyed because when I went in Friday morning, once again my car was not finished! Lastly, they tell me FOR SURE Monday morning (the following week), so I wait. Now that Monday morning comes around, I called to make sure my car was finished before leaving my house and ONCE AGAIN they move it to the next Tuesday morning. Unfortunately Ive become extremely restless with this Avondale of Collision and will not be coming back.

I took my Toyota Tacoma there to have the air bags replaced after my husband had a fight with a dirt mound and lost. I got a rental car thru them and they reassured me that they would not charge me the difference after the insurance pays them. Excalibur has done everything they said they would the interior of my truck looked brand new could not even tell anything was done to it and they did not charge me anything for the rental car. I was so happy with their service I am taking my car to them to have storm damage repaired. I am sure I will be just as happy with that as well.. I will definitely take any other vehicles to them and would recommend them to anyone who needs repairs done.. Thank you again for everything..

Our 2014 KIA Optima was damaged in the rear passenger side by a truck backing into it. Excalibur had the car for 33 day. There was lack of communication with the person handling our claim (Jose) and caused some frustration on our part. Wrong parts were ordered and returned on three different occasions. We learned that Jose was no longer working for them. Lee was a much appreciated replacement for him and he was extremely polite and professional. Nicole, who answered phones was also polite and helpful. Based on the fact that Jose is no longer working there, I would be inclined to return to Excalibur if I should need repair work.

The shop was recommended to me by a friend I had several problems with my Ford F250 truck interior and exterior issues and extensive repairs that needed to be done not covered by insurance I took my truck to Excalibur of Avondale Collision Repair and they did an excellent job everything that they said they would do they did and it even came in a little under the price that they quoted me. One of the best things also about the shop is their on-site rental cars this is an excellent shop with the fantastic staff highly recommend!

Went here to get an estimate on a side mirror. 2 stars for the polite receptionist that made me wait 10 minutes before the guy that was supposed to look at the mirror told me to wait outside & I was the only one there.. Then he sends another guy out to look at it. I ask him if he is going to do the estimate and he replies yes. He took a glance at my car and said the guy that does estimates is going on break & wont be back for an hour and a half. Whats going on here? Fishy... Waste of time!
