My name is Glenn Kukac. I am the owner of Maacoe collision repair in El Mirage AZ. I noticed a couple of not so good reviews and felt inspired to respond. As always, there are always two sides to each story. In Mr Baldovins case, yes his car did take longer than expected. Yes, the trunk lid is off a shade. However, what is not told, Mr Baldovin in an effort to save money, (we all do) ordered his own trunk lid. Unfortunately, he ordered the wrong one. TWICE. In an effort to save time, we painted his Kia while we were waiting for the third trunk lid. We offered to fix the issue without any resolve. Mr Sumner decided to do his own bodywork on his vehicle. Initially, we explained our paint is not under warranty because we did not do the bodywork. Explaining we do not know what prep work went into his work. (this is all documented) After painting his vehicle twice, the second time at no charge Mr Sumner was happy. A few months passed, the areas where his bodywork was done, once again the paint started to lift. We had paint engineers from Sherwin Williams meet with Mr Sumner to discuss his issue. The conclusion was the body filler used was applied incorrectly, therefore escaping gases was causing the paint to lift. We then resanded and re painted Mr Sumners car a third time at NO COST what so ever to rectify the situation I do believe we all make mistakes. It is how we handle them is what seperates us.

Why Not to have your car painted at MACCO On Monday July 28, 2014 we took our car to MACCO, they talked us into the best paint job $1,596 and we agreed. They said we would have in Thursday, what a laugh, we got it back on Friday August 8, 2014 10 days not 4 days. We would have been happy with that but the list of what is wrong follows. The owner GLENN stated when we talked that the paint had to cure and he would redo in 3 weeks, he did not call me so I called him and we took the car up to the shop. Well things got interesting, first he said the painter would have to try and match the paint then he said two days then it was three then it was four, we already been there with them, he said we could rent a car at our expense, in other words they would fix their screw-up as they had time. And we would be inconvenienced another period of time. List 1. The Car is one color, 2. The trunk is another color 3. The spoiler is another color 4. Old paint showing around gas fill door and new paint is already chipping 5. Paint on trim 6. Primer or something on door handle 7. They painted the locks, (they would scrape them) 8. Paint is chipping off by driver’s window 9. Paint on multiple places on the trim We are now driving car around town as pictures show and will take it on vacation next month

I wanted to have my golf cart repainted and my neighbor suggested going to the Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting in Surprise, AZ because he had a golf cart repainted there last year and was very please. I made the contact and was warmly greeted by a friendly staff. They quoted me costs for the project as well as a timeline. They were very helpful with color selection and also provided samples so that I could match the paint with upholstery work that I was having done at the same time. Their pickup and delivery service was very efficient and at the promised time. They called the day before they were to start painting to confirm the colors and the extent of the project.Although it was a small project, the owner Glenn Kukac took and active interest and was very pleasant to work with. The costs were as projected and the project was completed by the date promised. I am delighted with the finished product.

Excellent Work & Price. Ive painted cars myself in my younger days and this place is a good body & paint shop with prices that cant be beat. I took my Corvette there to have the hood painted and they did an outstanding job. I would absolutely trust them with any high-end car I have. Ive read the negative comments and they sound like some knucklehead that tried to do his own body work and screwed it up....then wants Maaco to fix his mistakes and do a lot of extra work for free. We all know that type of person....always bitching about something and its always somebody elses fault....never their fault. Highly recommend these guys and they were a pleasure to deal with. And this is from a Cranky old fart thats hard to please.

Picked up my Mustang Fri. morning.First of all, I want people to know, I am computer illiterate, but I leaned enough from my grandkids to do this review.Ive had cars painted at another Maaco location before , but this was something entirely different. The owner,Glenn,literally walked me throuh the process, kept me informed,delivered on time, but most shocking of all, the quality of this shops work was and is totally ,unexpected from what you might expect. If you want hands on, sensitive to your need , and affordable auto paint/body work, this shop really deserves your business. Lastly, I have never reviewed abussiness before, but I am pleased to do this one. Give them a chance, YOU WILL BE PLEASED !. I am.

Glenn Kukac and Mickey Walton went above and beyond our expectations! We are completely satisfied with the paint and body work on our 2006 Mustang. The car is BETTER THAN NEW! We get so many great compliments on the car! Mickey was great! He knows how to provide stellar service! Glenn went the extra mile for us bringing our adored car to an unbelievable shine and great look. Really appreciate all the great teamwork in taking care of us and our Mustang!

Ted and Glenn run a great shop, and I highly recommend the Surprise, AZ Maaco if you need an inexpensive dent/paint repair. They were by far the lowest price quote to fix a large scrape on my wifes Escape door, and when I picked it up they had done some small additional work needed, but stuck with the original price. The ding is completely gone, and the color match is excellent. Fair, friendly and on time, cannot ask for more.

At first, I was a little skeptical about the location but the facility was very clean and Mickey was very straight forward and honest. No over promising or under delivering here. I ended up with an excellent paint job at the right price and picked up the vehicle on time. Not only was the car spotless but they also polished the faded headlights. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend their service to anyone.

I was hesitant about getting my car painted at Maaco after reading some of their reviews. Then I met I met the owner of this Maaco, Glenn. He helped me pick the best paint job for my needs. My car turned out better than I expected. Glenn is a stand up guy and runs a great business. If you want an honest and fair priced paint job , this is the place. Glenn will treat you right.
