Oil changes are cheap but very slow service. I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation and I had to wait for over an hour. I would understand the wait time of an hour if I had not made an appointment but I had an appointment for this visit. I also had them scan my car as the check engine light was on. When they finished with my car, the guy at the counter was on the phone while he rang me up and acted like he was bothered when I asked the results of the scanning. At this point he did relay the information of what the scan reading said and that my brakes were at 10%. He would not have told me this if I had not waited to ask. I called back later the same day to attempt to schedule an appointment for my brakes. I was told that I didnt need an appointment and to just bring the car in as it doesnt take long to change the breaks. When I took the car in the following week I was told that they could not take my car that day as they were too busy. When I told the guy that I had attempted to make an appointment and was told it wasnt needed he did agree to make an appointment for my car the next day. When I brought my car in for the scheduled appointment (which was at 10:30 and I arrived 10 min early) I waited for over an hour. At this point I checked the parking lot for my car and it was still in the parking lot. I asked if my car was done and was told that it was next in line. I had a 10:30 appointment and it was 11:40 at this point! And I was told it would take 30 min once it was taken back. I had another appointment so I could not stay any longer. I called ahead on the following Saturday and was told they were too busy and could not take care of the breaks that day either. So instead of messing around with the poor service here I called Fletchers and was immediately able to get the service I needed. If you chose to go to this shop either plan on spending a few hours there or drop your car off and come back when its finished. Oil changes are cheap so I will be back for those but nothing else in the future.

My brother had taken my car here a couple of years before to have my AC fixed and the radiator replaced the bill ended up being $1,200 which was reasonable based on what they said was wrong with it. I took my car there this last July because of an over heating issue and my AC was blowing hot. I told them I had two mechanic friends that had assessed the issue and determined my fan needed to be replaced and my AC recharged. They did not have the time to fix my car as I was in Arizona City and it was too late in the day for them to fix it after they had assessed it and I needed to get home. I took my car into Global and they called me with an estimate of over $1600 dollars to replace my waterpump, fan, timing belt and radiator. I told the guy they had replaced my radiator 2 years before and my timing belt and water pump had been replaced a little over a year ago. They said I should go back to the people who replaced my water pump and timing belt perhaps they have a warranty. I asked them to put my car back together and I would come get it. He said it was already together. I am thinking how did you assess all these issue then...and when my timing belt had gone out originally the car would not run. Long story short my boyfriend who had been recovering from surgery replaced the fan and took my car into a trusted mechanic he knew to charge my AC for a total cost of $250, parts and labor. No issues since, car runs like a top. My brother told me he wonders if they ripped him off when he took it in the first time. I do not reccomend these people! It is so difficult to find honest places anymore and this is a bad one as far as my experience goes.

These guys are fantastic. Ive gone to Global Auto Repair a number of times over the last year for service on my Toyota Sienna van and Honda Accord. I was impressed with how the staff at Global works to save you money on your car repairs. The most recent experience was having the rear brakes done on my Honda. The quote I got from the tire shop was almost $400. I took it over to Global and they did the job for just at $150 for the exact same service (brake service, replace brake pads, replace rotors). The previous example was when I took the car in for a simple oil change and they offered an upgrade to a fuel system cleaning at a great price. During the service a sensor got fouled and the car started revving abnormally. This would have been an easy opportunity to jack up the repair bill and I wouldnt have known any different. They worked on the car for an hour to get it corrected and didnt charge a dime more. These guys are special. Ill be taking my vehicles to them for a long time.

We were in dire straits but they worked with us on fixing our car quickly. They have many customers and the wait is still not long… I have waited a number of occasions & I got nothing to complain about. If they are too busy they tell you when to come in. If you need an oil change on Saturday, get there early as there are no appointments… Saturday is 1st come first serve. Our parents also take their car here too, routine maintenance… reasonably priced. Oil changes are a good deal too. The negative comment I read in the reviews totally shocked me. The employees I met have been very courteous and listen… They do, of course, have to get back to work, so, if you were offended they didnt chat with you for 10 or 20 min., well, they are also looking out for their other customers. They recognize repeat customers and even if you go there the 1st time they still treat you like youve been going there for years. Now this leaves me to question the validity of the person rating them a "0".

Just moved to Az and trying to find a good mechanic who doesnt overcharge and overestimate repairs needed was like pulling teeth. So glad to have finally found them. They didnt charge for diagnostic and actually told me the repairs that the other mechanic told me was an "emergency" wouldnt need to be done for another 6 months and was a fraction of the cost that I was quoted elsewhere! They even offered to show me my vehicle while it was on the racks so I could see that the condition was not as bad as I had been told. I will be taking all my vehicles here in the future! Thank you for your honesty on every account!

My experience at Global was fantastic! Len strives to please his customers because he cares and wants to stay in business! Friendly, honest and professional. He went over my car with a fine tooth comb and the end result was a bill $700 less than I had been quoted! It turns out that I didnt need what another mechanic said I did. This is a place that I can trust! While I was there I saw many women with children come in. He listened to their concerns and genuinely help them to feel like they had a voice. The waiting room is big and clean! I definitely will be back and telling all my friends.
