Fantastic. They came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Went in for a 90k mile service, ended up with a big repair, but had a great experience. First, they didnt know I had just bought the car, but they were honest about the 90k mile service already being done which many other shops would have happily charged me for. However, I ended up needing a major repair. They did the service (just the needed oil change, not the preventative stuff that was already done), framework, control arm, struts, and alignment all for what the dealer was trying to charge me for things that didnt need to be done. They report to Carfax, showed me my damaged parts as proof of the safety issues warranting the major repair, picked me up, dropped me off, and I even left with a $70 credit and a free air filter replacement. Their cashback credit is awesome and I got $30 just for sharing who referred me. On top of that, they did it all that day and stand behind their work with a warranty! Unfortunately, most of us have had bad experiences in the past and are just looking for honesty. These guys know the market and are capitalizing on it by simply offering an honest service. My father has owned an automotive shop for decades in another state and Ive struggled forever to find a shop where I previously lived, so I appreciate the business these guys run. Nobody likes spending money on repairs of any kind, but dont hesitate to bring your vehicle here, trust me. Truly a complete experience.

I took my car in there as a way to support our local auto mechanics and to save some gas and time from going to my family member as always. I called up and asked about the price on an AC check and was told about $50 bucks. I later looked online on their very own website and found a coupon for almost half the price I was quoted. Still I decided to bring it in even after not being told about this special deal. I turned in my car and received a prompt call back in regards to my AC and that it was the service port valve which had a small leak and the compressor was weak. The service cost to replace the valves alone would cost over $200 with my service check and thats not even promising to fix to core problem still. I might have to bring back to get a service check again if that didnt work and then replace AC compressor with the kit. I decided to go get my car back and when I got there and I waited even longer to get back my car, then it took to call me back with my AC check. On the check out I was shown another similar vehicles bill in regards to having a compressor and kit replaced. In which was in the high $2000 range! I decided to get a second opinion at that point from my family mechanic. As a follow up, My boyfriend did replace the service report valves (shrewder values) which was less then $20 and took 15 mins and that did not even come close to fixing the problem.

Got my oil changed and tires rotated and they did a great job. The other two places I recently went to for oil changes "claimed" they rotated my tires but I know they lied because one of my tires has a very slow leak and it would always be the passenger rear. Not the case with Willhelm! They are true to their word and I love the fact that every car gets a hang tag with a tech who signs off that everything was done. They also drove my husband home after he dropped the car off so that was great! Pricing was very reasonable and hopefully we wont need any repairs, but if we do we will return to Willhelm. Chevy quoted us for a $700 repair and we said no thank you!! We called up Willhelm and they said it would be under $250. Fortunately for us Chevy called us back and said it would be covered under warranty so we ended up not paying anything but if we would have just said yes from the start we would have been out $700! Willhelm is honest and very reasonable and I trust them with my car and the extended warranty is great on their work!! Keep eyes out for coupons in the mail too!

Whenever I need service for my car Im taking it to Wilhelm Automotive. They know what theyre doing and are honest. They put in a new battery for me in November 2015 and 6 months later the battery died. They replaced the battery with a new one and honored the warranty at no charge. Less than a month later that battery also died. Got a call from them a few hours later and told me that the Hands-Free Link (Bluetooth) in my 2008 Acura TL was causing a drain on my battery. I Googled it and found that this has been an ongoing problem with Acura and the Hands-Free Link for quite some time and that it would cost approximately $1000 to fix. So a) I didnt have to tell Wilhelm about the problem, they found it on their own. b) They put the new part in from Acura. c) Gave me another brand new battery at no extra charge. d) It didnt cost me $1000 like the internet said, it only cost $400. Love these guys. I will always take my car here. -- BV

I went to this place out of convenience because of location; big mistake. The customer service was great. They gave me a ride home because my jeep was at the back of the line and the kid who drove me home was really friendly. About 9 hours later I got a call from them telling me that my transmission needed to be rebuilt- at $400 labor and over $1,500 in parts- and that that would be the only way to stop a leak that I had been dealing with. I asked if there was any other way to fix the leak and they told me no and that my only other option was to keep adding transmission fluid. After "politely" declining their offer to rebuild my transmission, I took it elsewhere where it was confirmed that all I needed was a new shifter shaft seal- I ended up paying $100 for both parts and labor. I also learned that this place has a reputation for over charging because of its location. Id hate to say theyre liars and thieves, but if they arent, they need to send their mechanics for more training.

Used these guys about 20 years ago on a problem with a car that the GM dealers could not fix. Next day car was fixed ran great for manny more years. Had a great experince then. Had a problem with our 2008 Buick two weeks ago. Droped off at 5am. The service manager called at 9am told me one of the coils was bad total repair would be 480 $. I approved the repair told him i would be there to pick it up at 4:30. I got another call at 9:35 from the service manager telling me there was a comminucation problem in the shop and the coil was good the ignition module was bad. The repair would cost 418$. This kind of honesty is very very hard to find in this day and age. Wilhelm Automotive will be my auto repair shop for all things automotive. ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆.
