Want to come to this auto shop? Good luck. I called and made an appointment five days in advance. When I went in, the guy who crawled out of the dirty, cluttered office had no recollection of our previous conversation. He couldnt look at my car because he was the only one there and had been working so hard -- yet somehow had time to leave for lunch after I walked in on him just lounging. Then, he said he could look at my car the next day, but only if it was in the morning so he could go "drink some f**king beer." So, I left my name and number. He NEVER called me. Never. I took my car elsewhere the day he turned me down, and got way better service. Hey Joel, still waiting for you to call me back. Im sure you lost my number though in that disgusting office you work in.

I came to A-4 the other day and they got me in as my appointment was scheduled for. I was getting some minor stuff done. They saw an issue with my tire and was sure to tell me about it. Thank god, Id hate for my wife to have a blow out. In my opinion A-4 Auto gos above and beyond to make sure you are safe and is an excellent mechanic. I have been to many other shops over the years, and most of them are out there to rip you off. Not this place, they are honest, quality, and great rates. I highly recommend A-4 to all my friends, and other people looking for a good auto shop. Look at there reviews, they tell you the truth. QUALITY! I will return in the future THANK YOU!!!

Scheduled an appointment for Thursday afternoon to evaluate the maintenance needs of a used car I just purchased. On Thursday I called to verify the appointment and they said they were backed up and could we reschedule for Friday. I said sure. On Friday I called again and they said they were still backed up and Id need to reschedule again. I said no thanks Ill find another shop. I understand that it can be difficult to schedule, but why couldnt they call me and let me know. Thankfully I called ahead and didnt waste the gas. The shop seems in disarray. Id check them out carefully before making any sort of $ commitment.

a4 auto repair is a great shop. Joel is extremely helpful and honest with his estimate. i failed emissions twice and then brought my car to Joel and he fixed it and i passed first try! he knows what he is doing. plus if you just want to find the problem then end up wanting work done he will waive the diagnostic fee. also his hourly labor rate is great, and if one of your parts breaks he has a warranty for almost everything an will replace it for free. definitely the shop i would suggest for any of your car troubles. extremely fair pricing and great service. A-4 Auto repair, what can I say about this company, the owner is down to earth and committed to providing you with the best possible work at the best price, he stands behind his warranty, I went in to have a new fan clutch fitted this was done in a few hours and away I went 12 miles later the fan clutch failed I called the owner and explained what had happened by the time I returned to his shop he had a replacement waiting for me and I was out and on the road again, service like this is a lost art

I brought my truck to Joel at A4 Auto Repair in Deer Valley to get my oil changed because of a recommendation. Aside from just checking my oil changed Joel checked everything else: air filter, tire pressure, brake pads, etc. because as he said, "I want to help prevent problems instead of waiting until you have a serious problem that could lead to an accident". I will definitely be going back to A4 Auto Repair for my regular maintenance instead of the stealership.

*****Switch to ths shop******* I have lived in the valley for 25 years and have not found an honest mechanic until now. Joel is an outstanding, hardworking, mechanic that gets it done right the first time. No BS from him. He tells you what is wrong and how much it costs. He explains the problem in terms one can understand. He showed me my timing belt so I could see the wear. HONEST guy. Best in the business.

I went to A-4 after another shop told me it would be 2 days to get in to diagnose the problem. Joel and Carl got me in that day and found the problem. I was completely satisfied with the work done. Joel is a great person to work with and I would trust him with any of my repairs from here on out. Thanks again Joel, yes Carl you did a great job too.

Joel was honest and identified what was REALLY wrong with my car, instead of what the national brakes chain told me. He showed me exactly what the problem was and explained it in terms I could understand (and I know nothing about cars). Joel fixed the problem, saved me a ton of money, and gave me peace of mind. This is a great shop. I have been looking for a place to bring my cars other than a big name shop and Joel is great. He is very helpful and his prices are more than reasonable. I took my car to another place to get the brakes checked and they cross threaded & stripped 5 lug nut studs. Joel fixed them and my breaks in no time.

Joel is awesome & does excellent work at the best rates ive seen from a pro mechanic. If we lived in a small town, he would be the mechanic that everyone knows & trusts. Hes old-school, but on top of everything current. He checks TSBs and shows you the old parts without even asking. I would trust sending my mom to him.

After trying to fix my car on my own and failing miserably, I was referred to A-4 from a friend. I took my Buick to Joel and he was able to instantly figure out I had a bad sensor that wasnt coming up on the code reader. A-4 saved me a lot of time and did the work at a very good price.

Joel has done oil changes on two of my cars, and is very helpful giving me tips on preventative care. He tells you the truth and does an excellent job of teaching. Ive been actually in the garage while Joel works, and he shows you what he actually does. Great service and honest work.

If your looking for a solid mechanic who can fix almost anything then you need to come to A4 Auto Repair. I have had my car worked on in the past and whenever I have a question or concern I can just call or stop by and Joel will help me out.
