I had been having problems with my Chevy Avellanche for a month or so where the truck would shut down and go into "safe mode" and a code would keep coming up for my throttle body and throttle position sensor. The problem finally got to the point where I couldnt even pull out of my apartment complex without the truck shutting down on me several times and I would have to keep clearing the code to be able to continue drive. Yesterday I went to J4 at about 2:30pm to talk to them about what was going on with my truck and to set up an appointment and they asked me if I could leave the truck with them RIGHT NOW! I told them I lived just down the street and they dropped me off at my house and about 2-2 1/2 hrs later they called me up to tell me that after doing some electrical testing/trouble shooting they narrowed it down to my throttle body and that it was REALLY dirty. They cleaned the throttle body and my truck has been running like new since!! One of the best things that I REALLY liked was that they employ a mechanic that was a former GM tech at a dealership for several years. I HIGHLY recommend bringing your vehicle to J4, they have a great group of friendly, knowledgeable and highly skilled mechanics! If I ever need to have work done on my truck again I wont go anywhere else, but here and Im very picky when it comes to having work done on my vehicles! I would REALLY like to thank them for saving me from the wrath of my wife coming down on me anymore, because in the last couple months I have had to call her several times while she was at work to pick our daughter up from school because my truck wouldnt stay running long enough to be able to pick her up at capital high in Helena and we live in East Helena! Took my vehicle in and they fixed it. The first time there was a small issue but they took it back in and made it right without excuse or additional cost. There are not many auto repair companys that would do the same. Ralph is an excellent example of the integrity at J4 and you can rest assure that he stands behind the work of J4. His word is as good as gold and today that is rare indeed. A lot of outfits in this area will do all they can to take your money and offer little in return. J4 is not one of those companies. There is a level of integrity you will not find anywhere else in the Helena region and for that reason you will be best served to take your vehicle to J4. Brought my van in, feeling a bit overwhelm with life difficulties, it was cold and my heater, which had worked on Friday, refused to heat on Monday. I checked the radiator, pushed the switches and kicked the tires, all to no avail. Kit listened to my problems, then offered to look at the heater, he pushed some wires, checked this and that, and then the heater worked! I was pleased. He smiled and I shook his hand, hoping that his car skills would rub off. He laughed and let me go warm in my van without a bill! This is the type of man that runs J4 Auto, it is not just about what he can charge, but it is about the people he serves, Customer Service and a kind heart. Such a person is worth my trust and your trust in the care of our vehicles.

We have used J4 Automotive for all automobile maintenance and repair needs since our daughter moved to Helena from Washington to attend college in 2007. She has remained in Montana to work. Even though shes moved to Great Falls she still uses J4 for her automotive repair and maintenance needs. They have consistently been courteous, accurate, comprehensive and knowledgeable regarding a number issues with her car. The know what they are talking about and do not pile on other unnecessary repairs. J4 is a top notch professional automotive service provider.

J4 Automotive has won more local and national awards than any full service repair shop in Montana. Ive been a customer since they opened their doors in 1994. Kit and Vi are serious about taking care of their customers.They even won the Helena Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award. I wouldnt take a chance with some other outfit with waaaay less credibility. I trust J4.
