This place is trash! Joe knew we were from out of town. I asked if they were busy because I would want an answer, right away. This way I could decide on wether best to stay and drive back, leave and find a way back. Says, "I can have an answer by around 10! Woo-hoo... so I think. I call, call, call, no answers till almost closing. So I spend hundreds more on stay, food and transportation on all of us including my autistic son (that can be trying on the road under the circumstances). Finally gives me quote, on the wrong transmission. Not only turns around and says it was only a partial quote (because people dont want labor and fluids in the quote?) though I said "out the door". Hmmm... Then Joey proceeds to tell me that after he calls to tell me (what I already knew) that it was a T 700 and not a more expensive 4L80e but has no quote on price... says he will call back. Never does, I call him. Tells me almost 2k for a T-700 he already did the work for? Why? I asked him for the new quote and he wouldnt answer a my call the whole day til the work is done that I didnt okay? Especially at $1900! Now he threatens me and says $442 on work I didnt approve or I cant even get it fixed somewhere else because he already rebuilt it, when I didnt ask a rebuild? I asked a quote and it took almost 4 days and finding out it was already done for the transmission I really had. Crooks

Brought my older truck here for a transmission service and the manger tried to tell me I needed a new transmission without even dropping the pan. When I asked him about all this he back peddled and then we were back to just a fluid change and band adjustment. Then he tried to tell me theres no such thing as a band adjustment on my transmission and when I offered to show him on a transmission techs website and directly from Ford and mentioned I was also a mechanic he said were done and told me to take it somewhere else and refused to do my fluid change at all. In my opinion its very obvious that I Blatantly caught him trying to scam me and wish it was all on camera. To bad you tried to scam someone who knows enough about cars to see through your deception, though I wonder how many ppl this guys rips off with a friendly smile everyday. Dont remember the guys name either, tho average height white guy, mustache and very friendly and helpful until you see through his bull crap and he runs you out of his store.

Absolute garbage shop!!! If I could give no stars I would. This was by far the worst experience with an automotive shop I ever had. Took car in for a heater core on a friday and was told it would take 9 hours after some checking. I specifically told them that If the job couldnt be done by the next day I would need to pick up the car and john said he would call the next morning. There was no call and the shop closed at noon the next day and was closed on Sunday. I had to take time off work to get my girlfriend to work and had to get her a rental car for 3 days. They had the car for repairs for a week. When the car was finally done it had grease all over the seats, floor and door panels and they argued with me that they didnt get grease inside the car. The lack of communication with this shop and very poor customer service is ridiculous, I would never go back nor would I ever recommend this place to anyone.

BEWARE. Brought in my truck for 50,000 transmission service. They had to loosen my exhaust to remove the pan. When I picked it up it had an exhaust leak. Brought it back the next day for repair "I even supplied them with new exhaust gaskets just in case". They worked on the truck for about 45 minutes and said it was good to go. The exhaust still leaked. I brought it home and found two bolts loose, I also found they broke off one of my exhaust manifold studs and put in some random bolt. Im sure I could have taken it back a third time but I didnt want them touching my truck anymore and possibly breaking off another stud. I shouldnt have had to wrench on my own truck after I paid over $300 for a transmission and differential service. I contacted the dealer and they would have done the same services for less than AAMCO charged. I will not return to AAMCO in the future.

Sometimes Murphys Law comes into play at the worst times, but fortunately, everything worked out in the end. This was my second visit to AAMCO for the replacement of a water pump that had a leak. Unfortunately the mechanic (I use that word loosely) who installed the water pump made some mistakes which ultimately cost the owner for replacement parts. Because of the mistake a two hour wait turned into a five hour wait, but ultimately, with the assistance of another mechanic my car was fixed. I am extremely pleased with how the owner stepped forward and made sure my vehicle was fixed properly. What one has to realize is sometimes things happen that are out of our control, but as long as they are rectified in a professional manner, thats what is important to me.

Went here to have them look at my car because the RPMs were fluctuating. The Manager Scott told me he would have his techs look at it and call me back. Scott called me back and said his tech would need 2 hours to trouble shoot the problem at $105.00 per hour on labor. I went back to AAMCO picked my car up and told them "THEY WERE OUT OF THEIR MINDS". I drove the vehicle across the street to Auto zone had them do a quick diagnostic on the vehicle. It appeared that my Max flow sensor was dirty. I was able to remove the part right there in the parking lot and within minutes the car was running perfect. Problem was resolved for $8.49 thanks to Auto Zone and for being honest. AAMCO are crooks or they just dont know what they are doing.

Their customer service is exceptional. My wife and son were traveling from Colorado through Phoenix when the transmission failed. AAMCO arranged for a free tow and John really went out of his way to help them. He stayed late after closing until the tow truck arrived, called around and helped them find a hotel and rental car, and even arranged for Uber to get them to the hotel. You might expect that type of service from the concierge at a posh Manhattan hotel (in exchange for a big fat tip), but certainly not what you would expect from a tranny shop. They gave an honest estimate and made it clear what the trade-offs of repair vs. rebuilt vs. price. And the got the work done quickly. We are very thankful. Especially a big thanks to John!

This auto shop is the place to go for anything car related. Of course, I went there because of my transmission problems, but they can fix just about anything car related. From the moment I called the owner answered the phone very professionaly and friendly. He set up an appointment the same day to have my van checked out. I arrived for my appointment and his crew went straight to work. Within 30 minutes they knew what was going on with my van that other shops couldnt figure out. The owner did all he could to give me the best pricing for the repairs without compromising the quality of work needed to make sure the repairs were done right. That says alot when a mechanic doesnt compromise quality of the repairs just to get a sale.
