I was referred to Capitol Collision by the auto garage down the street call Fairway Auto. I had been looking for some place to fix the corner of my rear bumper which had been bumped by a fellow coworker. There was no structural damage but for some reason the paint flexed/flaked off. I got quotes from several places but they all seemed high to me and I was trying to keep the cost down as we had decided to not go through insurance. Around this same time, the paint on my front bumper started to peel, badly as well. I decided to get a quote done. When I originally went in for the quote, I told them I would be doing both bumpers at once and that I would be removing the bumpers myself. Having both done at the same would save money as they can do setup/clean-up for spraying in one go. Ryan Simmons gave an estimate based on this fact. I had never taken a bumper off before so when it came time to drop off the bumpers at the arranged date, I only had the front one off as I had underestimated the difficulty in the task. Ryan was able to get a new quote to me. He was also able to explain why my bumper had been peeling. It had been paint ~3 times, each time just painting over the top of the old coat. This explained why my rear bumper had paint come off even when no damage had been done to the bumper itself. The turn around on the bumper was amazing. With my front bumper missing, my car could not be driven. Ryan was able to get it done on Friday late and was even willing to stay after close just so I could get it that weekend. I felt bad as my ride to pick up the bumper was then pulled over by police which meant that I couldnt get to Capitol Collision in any kind of reasonable time. I called up Ryan and he was completely understanding. I picked up the bumper the following Monday and the quality was incredible. Not only that but the color match was perfect. I then arranged to have them take my rear bumper. Ryan asked if I could bring in the original quote that had been made when both bumpers were assumed to be coming in at the same time. Ryan was quoted me a price for my rear bumper as if it had been done at the same time as the front. This saved me around $100. The turn around for my rear bumper was also only ~2 days. I picked it up today and it looked amazing. Other things to note. When I went to load the bumper in my brothers Jeep, Ryan was absolutely concerned with every detail. You can tell he takes pride in the work done as he even cared about 2 car jacks that were in the back that could have scratched the bumper. Also, Melissa out front is friendly and helpful.

My 2010 Honda was hit in the front end so hard that it broke the transmission off the motor. I have custom rims on it, and even one those got broken. I am a realtor and I use my Honda for my business and I needed to get it fixed as soon as possible. My Geico insurance agent referred me to Capitol Collision Repair in Phoenix, I live in Peoria, so it wasn’t the closest, but he recommended them highly. When I called I spoke with Dan Deary, the owner of Capitol Collision, I was kind of in a panic, but he was very patient with me. I explained that my little Honda was my baby & how I had just had the whole car wrapped with my company logo and information, and how no amount of body work would ever make it the same car again. Dan had it towed down to his body shop and offered to give me a free loaner car. Through Geico I get a free rental car, but it was the gesture that counts, I already felt well taken care of. I wanted to make sure they used only genuine Honda parts, and through the whole process, I never had to argue with them or Geico at all. My Honda had to go to three shops total, the body shop, a transmission shop, and a shop for the wrap job, but Capitol Collision managed it all very professionally. Eric, the manager for Capitol Collision, kept me updated and took care of Geico too, I didn’t have to deal with them at all. Everything went right on schedule, when it was done, they even picked me up after I returned the rental car. When I first saw my little Honda I couldn’t believe how good it looked. They had to replace the whole front end and you couldn’t even tell, the body work was perfect. They used only Honda parts, replaced my custom rim with the exact one, and the wrap shop they use did a better job than the shop I used. Everything came out perfect, the car looks and drives great, even the transmission works perfect. My Honda and I are very happy thanks to Capitol Collision. I can’t praise them enough, they’re the only body shop in Phoenix I’ll ever use now!

Had a decent experience with them. It took a while to get some parts for my car but i can understand that. My biggest complaint would be that my soft top was installed wrong on my miata when i went to pick it up. The next item was my shifter was tilted to the side from the accident. I was told by the tech that they dont fix that. I ended taking it to another place to get it checked out and it was just some broken motor mounts that needed to be replaced. The other place noticed it right away when they lifted up the car to look underneath it. The other place replaced the motor mounts and all was fixed. The last thing was i was told that i would get my passenger side window replaced because they didnt see that it was scratched until they day i came to pick it up. I was told i would get a call to have a glass company come out and replace it. This never happened. I am very happy with the quality of the paint and body panels that got replaced but i was under the impression (based of of the reviews seen here and their website) that they would be fixing the whole car including the mechanical parts that were damaged in the accident. The motor mounts should have been found out right away. The soft top as well. It only took putting the top down once to see it wasnt working correctly. I would mark this as poor-fair but I was quite impressed with the body work they did. *edit* Eric from Capitol Collision called me after posting this review and apologized for all the trouble i had to go through. He was able to get the glass company to come out and replace my passenger side window. I am happy about that. I am changing my review from good to very good for the extra effort to make things right and for contacting me.

I happened upon the Capitol Collision website by accident, however after I started reading the reviews, Im glad that I found it! I drove my vehicle into the shop and received an estimate by Bryan, which took 10 minutes max. He was then able to print me out several different estimate work ups, as I was unsure at that point as to how much I wanted to actually have repaired on my car. Within a couple days, I received a thank you note from the staff at Capitol Collision and got a phone call from Melissa to determine if I wanted to proceed with the repairs. This was something that definitely stood out as other facilities that I had gone to never did any of that. I ended up taking my car in the next week and Bryan let me know that it would take 3 days to complete everything needed… other businesses told me that it would take at least one week. I dropped my car off and two days later received a call from Bryan updating me on the progress of the repair and to let me know that my car would in fact be done the following day. I picked my car up and it looks better than when I bought it! Plus, I paid exactly what the original estimate was for, which was a pleasant surprise as I was expecting to pay more based on whatever additional damage was found. I would definitely recommend Capitol Collision for anyone looking to have some repairs done! I had a great experience working with their staff and will use their repair services again in the future.
