Let me preface this by saying I did not know anyone or anything about TJ Chapman Auto when starting my search. I was searching used Jeeps and stumbled upon them, and like I did with at least a dozen other dealers, I sent an inquiry message about a Jeep they had. Pretty much every dealer wrote me back in a timely manner, but I noticed 99% of the responses were either 3 word replies as though they "couldnt be bothered to write more", or it was a longer response that seemed to be a generic copy-and-paste message that they send to every inquiry but with my name filled in. With TJA, I got a PERSONAL response addressing in detail the information I had requested. And every timely communication from there on was the same: informational, kind, no-pressure, and personal. The Jeep I was looking at was a salvage/rebuild. If youre reading this, you may feel the same way I did, which is to stay away from a salvaged vehicle like the plague because god only knows if youre walking headlong into a Money-pit. But listen to me, the transparency that TJA provides is absolutely out of this world amazing. Where other dealers that had salvaged vehicles would skirt around my questions (or eventually stop responding to my questions altogether), TJA was the total opposite. They told me EVERYTHING about the nature of the salvage, what was rebuilt, HOW it was rebuilt, and answered EVERY question I had about both the mechanical and body of the Jeep. I went so far as to find TJ himself on Facebook (not just the business page but his personal one), which he accepted, and what I learned was he is a family guy, his mother works at the dealership and actually picked me up from the airport (I flew in from CA, a flight THEY paid for! and will cover up to $500), and she was the SWEETEST woman on the planet. As a man who loves his own Mama to the ends of the earth myself, this speaks volumes to me about the integrity of TJ as a PERSON first, which only translates to his business and how he treats customers. I bought the Jeep without an inkling of concern. Its gorgeous and the work they did on it is out of this world. And talk about the ultimate test-drive? I then drove it all the way back to Southern California where I live, TEN HOURS. And it was a blast! Ive never had such a great experience from initial inquiry to purchase when buying a vehicle, and Ive had both good and bad experiences in the past. This not only smoked the bad experiences, but smoked the GOOD ones too! Absolutely exceptional beyond measure. Im serious. I rarely write reviews for ANYTHING, and if I ever do, its for exceptionally good or bad service. And Ive certainly never written one this long! But they deserve it. Im literally telling anyone I know that is in the market for a vehicle to give TJ Chapman Auto a fair shot. They are, in my humble opinion, what America is all about. Not huge corporations sh*tting all over smaller business and ripping off us consumers. Its about honesty, fairness, caring about the customer, and total transparency. TJA offers all of those traits and more. My Jeep is killer. And the deal I got on it just DESTROYED any other offer I could find, and trust me, I looked around for a LONG time. Whenever we are looking again for a new vehicle, Im heading to TJA first. To TJ, Lori, and James, I thank you for such a great experience and for everything your company stands for. Youre a rare gem in an ocean of shady business practices. Please please PLEASE stay that way. Cheers, Matt

Stephen was informed of the damage that was fixed and signed Notice of salvage certificate proving that. I have 4 places he signed AS-IS. I gave Stephen 24 hours to return the truck if there was any mechanical issues that his mechanic could find. We both signed on the contract. He took it to his mechanic and his mechanic passed it. Not to mention this 14 year old truck with 87k miles. No other dealer would have tried to fix the problem like I did. A week later the heater core blew and Stephen KEPT driving it and overheated the truck. That caused the head gasket to blow. I fixed the heater core and the head gasket for him. I didnt have to fix anything Stephen. After I had dumped almost $4000 in to it I asked for $1500 which was my cost. I have 4 places that Stephen signed AS-IS. I asked for my cost only on the head gasket and and fix heater core for free. He did not agree so I gave him all his money back minus mile depreciation.

TJ Chapman is the most genuine and sincere car dealer Ive worked with. I spent months tracking down a great car with a great deal and TJ made it happen. He sells mainly rebuilt titles but dont let that turn you away. He hand picks the best of the best. I took the van I bought to a trusted mechanic and he found only 2 cosmetic issues with the rebuild, which TJ took care of without question. TJ let me see the damage to the vehicle and then put the car on the lift in his shop and let me take a look at the rebuild. I doubt youll find a dealer who is this transparent about their cars. He gave us a very fair price on our trade plus a warranty. Dont settle for some car a dealer bought off an auction and is looking for a quick turn around. Go to TJ. Hell sell you an awesome vehicle at a great price. When it comes time to replace my other car Im not gonna waste my time. Ill be coming back to TJ!

I bought a great car from TJ Chapman Auto in April of 2016, He was upfront and open about his business and costs. TJ was very helpful and did everything he could to make me a satisfied customer. I would definitely recommend TJ Auto to a friend or family member looking for a car. I bought a Salvage title from him, if you are buying "Salvage/rebuilt" you have to accept the risk of getting that discount. The dealer can only fix what they find in the short time they have the car. Like mine, I had a fuel level sensor and fuel pump go out ($2000 repair) , I called TJ, he had me drop it off, gave me a car of his to drive and paid out of his business pocket to have it repaired. TJ is selling quality cars and I believe he is doing it as honestly as he can. I will shop here again.

My experience buying a car from TJ Chapman was fantastic. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful and I just felt like I could trust them. What gave me even more confidence is the fact that they give a free 5,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty on all their cars. I could not find anyone else that did anything like that. It shows to me that they back up what they sell and that they are confident you are getting a great car. I have had my car for 2 months now and it has been perfect. The price beat anything else I could find too. I would totally recommend TJ Chapman to my friends and family.
