I have been a customer of Hourglass Cleaners for many years and have been for the most part, satisfied. Over the past few months I have been terribly DISSATISFIED with the service I have received. I will NO LONGER be using them as my cleaners. If you choose to use Hourglass as your cleaners... be aware of the following.... 1. I took a brand new silk blouse in to be cleaned before wearing. It was DRY CLEAN ONLY. When I came in to pick it up, there was a tag on it, and I was told that it could not be cleaned. There was a substantial stain on the front in the middle of the blouse. When I asked the gentlemen why my blouse had a stain on it and it had not been cleaned, he replied, "It must have come in like that." When I told him it was a brand new blouse and it did not come in like that, he told me they could try to clean it again. When I came back to pick it up, it still had a stain, although less obvious. I have been unable to wear the blouse, as the stain is too noticeable. Hourglass never took responsibility for the stain and insisted on charging me for the cleaning. 2. I took a dress in to be cleaned for my daughters graduation. When I came to pick it up, I was told it had not been cleaned. (It was TWO days before graduation.) I was told that because the dress had leather panels on the side, a special signature was needed before it could be cleaned. When I asked why no one had called me to get permission for the cleaning or why no one asked for a signature when I dropped it off, I was told "I dont know."I was then told that "It looks clean. You can wear it." The dress had been in their possession for over a week and I dropped it off with the same women who was telling me it had not been cleaned. It also had a stain at the bottom. I had to scramble and find a different dress to wear for her graduation. 3. I decided to give them one more chance this week and Tuesday I brought a blouse in to be cleaned for my daughter who is leaving the country. I brought it in on a Tuesday and asked if it could be ready by Thursday, as my daughter had a 6 am flight Friday morning. I was told the blouse could be picked up after 4pm on Thursday. When I went in to pick up the blouse, it could not be found. After many minutes of waiting, the blouse appeared on a hanger, uncleaned. I was told, "Its not ready." When I asked why, I was told, "I dont know." When I said I needed the blouse today, I was told by Brad to "Take it to the hotel cleaners." Unfortunately, my daughter is not staying at a hotel. I left with a wrinkled, dirty blouse that is dry clean only. If you have cleaning that is important to you... DO NOT BRING IT TO HOURGLASS. If you do bring in an item to be cleaned.. TAKE PHOTOS OF IT before you drop it off. They take NO responsibility for damaging your expensive clothing. If you have a special occasion and need something cleaned... BE WARE... it will sit for a week or two, uncleaned and you will be told that "It looks clean...you can wear it." you WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED if there is a problem cleaning your clothes. Be prepared to pick up a dirty, wrinkled, stained item. Hope you are staying at a hotel with cleaning services!!!

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE, YOU WILL BE SORRY! The owners of this place, Sunhi and Brad, are pathological liars who refuse to take responsibility for ruined clothing. They went so far as to accuse me of taking my silk dress to another cleaner (who they say actually ruined it) and repackaging it in an Hourglass wrapper. When that didnt work, they tried to tell me the discoloration was actually part of the dress design. I hate to think about the money my husband and I spent with these unscrupulous people. We know four others who have had exactly the same experience and were yelled at and called liars. WHO DOES THAT WITH CUSTOMERS????

Hourglass Cleaners are true experts in handling all aspects of cleaning and care for fabrics and fine clothing. I have relied upon them for many years to deal with challenging care and cleaning issues with delicate fabrics. They have been unfailingly honest --and have always pointed out issues with stains or fabrics that may not be suitable or respond well to cleaning. It is refreshing to find and use a business that is so committed to honesty and absolutely respects the customer -- they have always gone the extra mile with us.

I have used this establishment for about three years and have found its work impeccable, particularly when it comes to dealing with tough stains, especially those that have been in place for a while. The staff readily meet special requests. The family members who tend the counter tend to be friendly and helpful, although one can be a bit abrupt. On balance I recommend this establishment without reservation.

Ruined 3 expensive tops and would not take accountability for any of them. One top she said they didnt clean and it was still in their plastic on their hanger!! The second they said was washed at hoe and ruined. The third shirt they put bleach stains on and claim it came in this way. I wont go back.

Worst tailor in town. I had THREE pair of jeans ruined and when I asked what happened the lady just answered: "I misunderstood what you wanted." She did not offer help and was rather rude. She cut them too short and there was no way to fix them.

The only dry cleaners I have brought a brand new never worn perfectly clean garment in to be pressed and was given back a stained one. When I pointed out the stain they said they could only assume it was there before. Worst dry cleaners ever!
