Horrible service! They were booked for a PM move. They showed up 3-4 hours early without explanation, while we were in the final stages of packing our stuff. When I asked if they could come back later that day, they claimed wed have to rebook for another day (not possible). The moving crew was entirely unprofessional. They kept ignoring our instructions as to what to move, leaving closets partly or completely filled without explanation. Each time I informed them of these lapses of attention, they had to stop and move stuff into already packed boxes or mix the items with other boxes. It made it difficult to unpack, since the requested labeling was wrong or non-existent, and goods were put in the wrong carton. My wife is still looking for toiletries and clothing since things were put into the wrong cartons. In all, it probably took an extra two hours for them to finish loading the truck due to this carelessness. Part of that time was the result of being forced to allow them to pack items because of the unexpectedly early arrival. When we arrived at the new apartment, they demanded payment, including the extra time and work they did because of their carelessness and unexpectedly early arrival. When I protested and asked to renegotiate the price, the manager, Candice, threatened to call the police if we didnt pay right away. They wouldnt even take the credit cards I offered, even though their written policy says they do. So I had to rush out and get the cash from the bank, as they sat back and wasted billable time until I returned. This was without doubt the worst moving experience in my life. Stay away — stay far away from this crew! I cannot believe these positive reviews, because my expedience was opposite, and I cant believe its not typical.

I have used Jones Moving twice and have been very happy with the service I received. The gentlemen that moved me both times were friendly, helpful and very easy and nice to work with. They respected my belongings and even helped with minor repairs that would ensure a better chance for the pieces during the move. They were knowledgable, knew what they were doing and I feel they went above and beyond in the service they provided. They were also fun which made the moving process a bit less stressful. They worked well together and had such nice things to say about the company. I would recommend Jones Moving and would definitely use them again if I have to move. Their price per hour is very reasonable and the service received was worth every penny and so much more!

I cant say enough about this company. We had 2 guys (I wish I could remember their names) who not only were early but worked their you know what off!! They are very very helpful and worked together like a well oiled machine. I feel they went ABOVE AND BEYOND what was expected or needed. In 2.5 hours they not only loaded up my daughters apartment full of boxes, her furniture and they took her 60 tv off the wall put it safely in the box. Drove to where were storing it and unloaded it into a Ramada and did so with taking extra care to minimize the space it was taking up. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them and will use them again to move it all to Southern California where shes starting PT School. GREAT COMPANY AND VERY CARING/ACCOMODATING. Kathy B

Recently I hired Jones Moving and Storage for a smaller home move. My new home was only blocks away from my former house so I was able to transport many, mostly small items, before Jones moved my big furniture pieces. I was concerned I wouldnt find a company willing to take the time and size of this move but Jones was willing, able and did a great job! They were also the only company of four that I contacted willing to move, unhook and HOOK UP my washer and dryer that I brought with me. They charged competitive hourly prices and actually lower than some other companies. The guys doing the hauling and packing were very nice, easy to work with (boss them around!

i dont like complaining. But be warned. You are required to sign a contract that says they are not responsible for broken things. So now I am stuck with broken furniture and not just one item. And they packed my glass and its broke and broke the handle from my wash machine so every time i washed clothes I was stuck with a large load and no hot water choice. I ended up buying a new one. it was a costly move and I so wish I would have went with another group. On the bright side. They were nice. Oh yes I am still missing things too so not sure if they delivered everything but not ready to place blame on them for that just yet

Best moving company youll ever use Very efficient and very careful with your furniture I had a huge load of very expensive furniture, exercise equipment that they moved from MI to NY Amazing efficiency, everything completely intact They packed and unpacked It was like the move never happened Everyone set up exactly like it was before the move Very nice guys too Cant recommend them highly enough They are the consummate professionals!

Absolutely love this company. I was in a situation where I had to move last minute and it was all very stressful. They have boxes and will pack stuff for you how you like to make the process much easier for you. Also nothing was broken! Theyre very helpful and I would recommend them to anybody. I will definitely be using this company again in the future !

Our two movers showed up right on time and after 2 or 3 moves earlier that day still had energy to move us to our new home in unbearable humidity. The pair did not let this slow them down (maybe it was motivation to finish quickly and get back to A/C). They were attentive and careful with our belongings. Ill certainly recommend them in the future.

I have used Jones Moving four times and have scheduled them for another move this coming July. Steve, Travis, and all their employees are extremely professional and are true movers. They are not cheap labor picked up for the day. They all understand how to take care of your belongings. I wouldnt use any other moving company. They are the best.

Great job! Very easy to communicate with unlike a lot of big name national companies i tried initially, got the date I needed, the job was done perfect and on time, plus the price was right. Had coworkers use as well with the same result. Very reliable, professional and affordable. Wouldnt go with anybody else :)
