I am writing as a BUYER of a house where Those Callaways worked for the SELLERS. What an absolutely terrible experience. We put an offer into two houses and both times they were difficult to work with. We ended up buying the second house and they made the whole process a nightmare. The house was occupied with tenants and as one of the Callaways agreed to "everyone has been more concerned with the tenants than the buyer or the seller." Their communication with the sellers and hence the tenants was terrible and became obvious when we spoke to the tenants directly. A week before, they had no idea we would be doing a walk-through, so they hadnt planned the moving truck accordingly. We had to fight to get a walkthrough 24 hours before closing. We asked multiple times, weeks in advance, and at the last minute they tried to postpone to the day of closing. We had work duties the following day but agreed to meet before work and were told "that would be inconvenient for Those Calloways as the lockbox wont be open." They tried to make us do the walkthrough while the tenants were still in there, which seemed pointless considering we needed to see the condition they left the house in. Then to top if off, the tenants took their fridge and the water was leaking out the pipe that had connected to the fridge. We told those Calloways we wanted it fixed and without consulting with the sellers they told us to plug it with a towel and it will be fine when we install the fridge. Thankfully one of their handymen came over and said this needs to be fixed asap otherwise the drywall will rot and there will be mold. Why did we have to fight for something like this?? They honestly wouldnt even listen to us until then. The house was left filthy and all Those Callaways could say was "well it looks the same as when you first saw it." WHAT? are we supposed to go into peoples closets and look under their rugs and then write into the purchase contract that this needs to be cleaned? Surely when you are investing $1/2 mil into a house, the least they could do is use the tenants security deposit to clean the house. It was disgusting and Those Callaways unwillingness to work with us was just as disgusting. We are quite sure it wasnt the owners sentiment as they willingly fixed anything we asked under contract. it just felt like all Those Calloways cared about was getting their commission after closing. It seems their reviews are good on Zillow so the sellers may not know how they act on the other side (they seem to all be seller reviews). I warn others out there as you may not want to do business with people like this.

We worked with Those Callaways to sell our second home that was in Scottsdale. They did an excellent job both in helping us prepare the home for sale and then marketing the home. We sold the home in less than 60 days at the full appraised value in an area where other homes of a similar size and price sat on the market for many months. As this was a second home in a different state than were we lived, we has some concerns about how things would go and wanted regular updates and information on the process. They communicated with us throughout the process and really did an exceptional job. Their entire team was responsive, helpful, professional and knowledgeable and we were completely satisfied with the process.
