Dont believe the reviews on here I would say majority of them are fake and made by employees working here. I came just for an oil Change w/tire rotation and was quoted $1800 after inspection. Obviously as a college student I went somewhere else where I could get an honest quote so I went to brake masters because they arent commission based and after they inspected my car they told me all I needed was front and back brakes and new transmission fluid all of that with new windshield wipers and brake fluid was $450. Huge difference. They also completely flattened the threads on the screw that went to my oil pan when I never had problems with it before and they made an excuse that the last place must have done that and not told anyone, like really? Be responsible for your own work! So they told me I would need a whole new oil pan. I went to brake masters they said that I wouldnt need that because they can make new threads for a bigger screw so not to worry I wouldnt need a new one. Also at brake masters when they inspected my car they noticed my lug nuts were on backwards and told me straight up they arent gonna ask where I went but not to ever go back because I could have lost my tire at any time on the road and its not like your tire popping you would have died or been seriously injured and its scary because thats something extremely basic that no mechanic should do. As if thats it, as I was waiting at wilhem automotive for my oil change to be finished I watched an old man be charged $150 for a synthetic oil change even though he had a $39.95 coupon which they said to him forget the coupon, the man was shocked like excuse me? They finally went back and forth on prices between BROCK and the woman working to finally make the price go down to $80 something dollars. ALSO, after this I saw a man who came here come in and say he keeps hearing banging in his car after getting it serviced and when they inspected it they found a loose lug nut they didnt even put back on his car. This place is ridiculous they should be happy I didnt take pictures of my lug nuts backwards and sue them for potentially killing me and my 5 & 10 year old siblings who ride with me in my car everyday or report them for investigation because that is just unbelievable I have never experienced anything like this in my life.

I found this place online while searching for "brakes surprise az" on google. I read reviews and liked how most everyone was satisfied and they had good reviews. I made an appointment online and they confirmed via email the next morning which was the day of my appointment. The appointment was for an inspection to check the brakes. I get to the location on time and the guy at the front says they will call when its done.... I let him know that I am not leaving and ask how long will it take. He says a couple hours. I tell him I dont have a couple hours plus I have my two toddlers with me. He tells me that I requested a drop off which I tell him I DID NOT. There isnt even an option on the website for drop off or anything like that so how can I request drop off? The confirmation didnt say drop off. I did not REQUEST a drop off. So I ask if its possible to just squeeze it in because I think my brakes are going and the brake light came on. He said no because they are down a person. OK so I ask to reschedule and he say he cant get me in for a week!!! Ridiculous and terrible service! If they were short staffed and knew they had to change my appointment to a drop off they could have called and explained that before I wasted gas, time, and energy to bring my vehicle to them. But instead they tried to make it seem like it was an error on my part. Bad business!

Im a mom three young kids we have a GMC envoy denali that was basically an accident waiting to happen. Well after going to two other mechanics and us explaining what was wrong and asking what the problem was they said they didnt know or see anything wrong, took it to Wilhelm Automotive for just a tune up estimate, I dropped the truck off and about an hour later it was ready for pick up. When I got back to pick it up Nancy sat me down and explained everything very well and and thank you David for showing me exactly what was wrong! The next day i took it in dropped it off they dropped me off at home and when it was ready for pick up they sent some ome to my house to pick me up. After getting the right lower control arm bracket fixed which was main concern and a few other things I drove it home not having to worry about if Im gonna swerve off the road if I brake to much. My baby rides perfect like as if shes brand new. I can finally ride around with the family and know were all safe! Thank you so much to everyone who helped us out these past two days. Wilhelm Automotive we will definitely be back!

New August Update: Something was off in the front suspension but they just couldnt find it and tried really hard to pinpoint the issue I believed I had. Well last week they found and fixed it and weve got our like new car drive experience back. This isnt the first time theyve worked diligently to find and fix something for us that didnt always show up while in their shop Always, always extraordinarily professional, always the best ever and did I say friendly. Excellent. Theres no doubt that every business would like a review that reads "We Wish Everyone That We Do Business With Conducted Their Business Like This One?........This is the one! No wonder everyone is giving them a thumbs up and 5 Stars..........And they make it so smooth. Update: I was just into Wilhelm Surprise yesterday for an oil change. From the moment the car is dropped off to the time to pick it up the experience is beyond 5 star. If I had a family member in the auto repair business, I could not imagine a better overall experience. Thank you Wilhelm, always very much appreciated.

Just moved to Surprise from out of state. Had a simple oil change performed at one of those commercial oil change places and they said my car needed $2,000 worth of work for 3 different problems! My car is 11 years old but some of the things they were telling me didnt add up. Went to Wilhelm Automotive in Surprise for a second opinion. Very courteous on the phone and in person. Got me in quick and performed a thorough but quick inspection. Informed me that only 1 of the 3 problems mentioned at the previous place needed attention. Saved me over $1,000 in un-needed repairs. The pick-up and drop-off service they have while they keep your car to work on it is an amazing service. Driver was very friendly and came within 15 minutes of them telling me my car was done. I will take my car and my girlfriends car to no other place in Surprise, for any and all work including simple oil changes. Top notch service all around.
