I used All My Sons 6 years ago when I moved into my house so I thought nothing of rehiring them when it came time to move again BIG MISTAKE. I called 8/3 to schedule a move for 8/8, paid my deposit, and unlike some others have mentioned was told upfront about the miscellaneous charges (packing supplies, fuel, etc). Thats where the good experience ended. I was called 15 more times after scheduling from people that wanted to give me a quote. Supposedly I had duplicate accounts and they were all popping up that I requested a quote (right...) Strike One. Fast forward to Tuesday, Im up at 5am getting everything ready for a truck to come. Now let me say I did schedule late on Thursday so I didnt expect to be the first move of the day but come 11 when Id heard nothing I called. Spoke to Damien who told me all the guys were still on their first job and it would probably be between 2-4. Not what I wanted to hear but fine. Now its 4:30...nothing, no call,no email,NOTHING! Im pissed at this point as Ive waited around a whole day and I have people scheduled to clean this house tomorrow and the place Im moving...a storage facility that closes at 8! So I call again and who do I get? Damien. So I tell my story and he claims all the trucks are still on their first job so maybe 6. Ok so you couldnt call and tell me this. "I tried but for some reason your number was deleted from our system." Oh really? What happened to all those duplicate accounts? None of them have my number? And what about an email..."oh I did email you" Lies! Because I check my email religiously and Ive nothing from you. Anyway we proceed to go back and forth and hes telling me he doesnt know who wouldve told me between 2-4 (you!) but hes the owner and it doesnt benefit him to lie to me (but here you are doing it). He says he can reschedule me for Wednesday first move of the day and take off the fuel charge. I say no because I know that 10% is going to be nothing. He seems unapologetic for the fact his inability to properly run a business has now forced me to reschedule a house clean and Ive lost a whole damn day waiting. He asks what I think is fair (all while huffing and puffing clearly showing his frustration). So I flat out told him "you dont get to be mad. Youre still making money and your only inconvenience is you were the one to pick up the phone so all the attitude isnt necessary" I ask for an hour free and he reluctantly agrees while still promising Ill be the first move and hell send one of his better teams to do the job. Strike 2 Wednesday 910 the driver calls and says theyre 40 minutes out. I laugh, say ok, hang up, and try to reach my good friend Damien. Ricky picks up, I ask for Damien and hes conveniently out with "a dental emergency" Ok fine I need to speak to whoever is in charge when hes not there. Ricky says thats him. So I start telling the story and he starts laughing and says "oh I heard about you. Youre the lady that called upset yesterday and cussed Damien out" Um...yea and now youre about to get it. He tells me some story about the trucks being delayed for refueling. Ok so can I get another discount for being inconvenienced AGAIN. No he has to run that by Damien...of course. (Strike 3) By the time the guys showed up I was more than done with this company and if I werent on a time crunch Id have just said forget it. The guys were very professional and got the job done quickly but that doesnt take the sour taste out of my mouth. I wish I could give 0 stars. But all I can do is take my business elsewhere and hope that people take the time to read this review and do the same. Oh and one last thing that refueling story? Also a lie. They were sent to do another job first before coming to my home. RIDICULOUS

This was, by far, the worst moving experience Ive ever had. I signed up for moving services over a month before my moving date, including putting down a deposit. I was quoted 4 hours for a move plus a "small charge" for fuel. I was moving 4 blocks away. After signing up for moving services, All My Sons proceeded to call me at least once if not twice or three times a day to ask me when I would be interested in signing up for moving services. When I finally lost my patience and asked to speak to a manager, the gentleman on the phone hung up on me after calling me a name. I called two days before my move to confirm that I was on the schedule for 8 am. Moving day comes and no movers at 8 am. Nor at 9am. Finally, I called All My Sons where I found out that, mysteriously, they didnt have my phone number or my email, even though they called me daily asking me to sign up after Id already signed up. Turns out that I got bumped for someone else. The movers finally showed up around 2pm. The guys who showed up were decent enough though they took plenty of smoke breaks. The move took over 7 hours and I was billed for 8, so double what I had been quoted. Then, I was charged $80 for fuel to move FOUR BLOCKS. This was not a "small charge". This was a significant charge. The movers dropped a box of dishes, which resulted in every one of my bowls being broken. Of course they have a waiver that theyre not responsible for any broken dishes if I packed them even if they drop them off the side of the truck, which is what happened. The worst part, however, is that I have boxes that are missing, including a large box of blu-rays, a box of cds (I know, people dont use these any more but youll wrench these out of my cold dead hands or... well, you just wont take them off the truck). I dont think that the movers took them on purpose but when youre unloading a truck after 9pm, its awfully dark in that truck and there werent any lights so it feels a bit inevitable that things wouldve been left on the truck. This was my 20th move, some of them were across the country. This was the worst move Ive had. Between the oil sludge left on appliances, the missing items, the broken dishes, and the suddenly-double bill, I would never use All My Sons again. Also, the people on the phone will tell you that theyll wrap your dressers for free so dont worry about unpacking them until the movers show up with the forms for you to sign and suddenly theres a surcharge for that service. There were additional charges for practically everything. I dont blame the guys that did the move, at all, but the quotation couldnt have been more inaccurate to the point that it makes me think of bait-and-switch.

Our moving experience with All My Sons was full of deception and poor customer service. I called and spoke with Damien to set up our move 2 weeks prior to the 24th. We were quoted $293 which included a $100 deposit to book the move. I asked Damien if the deposit would be refunded at the end of the move and he specifically said yes. He also said in the event the move took longer than 2 hours the deposit would be used towards the bills total cost. On the day of the 24th we woke up at 6 AM to get everything ready for the movers expecting to see them between 7:15 and 8:15. First of all, the movers did not show up when I was told they would show up so I had to call to figure out where they were because I was told by the OFFICE MANAGER, whos name is Brenda, that they would be arriving between 7:15-8:15AM. However, when I called and spoke with Damien after 8:30 AM he said the arrival times were between 7:30 and 9:30 and the movers were having trouble getting their tablets to charge but they would be arriving in 15 minutes. 10 minutes later I received a phone call from Cruz, the driver, who said they were 30 minutes out. We sat there frustrated twiddling our fingers because we had already wasted a good portion of our morning WAITING. When Cruz and Daniel finally arrived they were quick and very nice. When they were all done and it was time to pay it took another hour for the paperwork to be revised from $293 to what we were originally quoted at $193. They were trying to charge us $50 for packing materials when they didnt pack anything! Long story short, I called back today to check on my $100 deposit and was told by DAMIEN that I would not be receiving it back because the $100 went towards the $293 final bill amount. I expressed my displeasure with my experience and he didnt seem to care. Basically I was lied to by him and Brenda and nobody wants to take responsibility for their actions. Im currently filling a complaint with the BBB. Save yourself the frustration and dont use these scam artist.
