Worst place to rent storage from. I rented for a total of four months. The manager, Karen is useless, careless, and the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Every interaction I have had with her was negative. They have 5 stars on yelp, which is why I decided to rent storage from them, but my experience was far from it. They offer you a deal of 1 month free if u pay first month upfront. So the first two months, I had no interaction with them and everything was fine. I get a "courtesy call" about 15 days past my due date saying they r reminding me to pay my rent. (After they charge me two late fees) 1) I called them to pay rent and had my first encounter with the manager, Karen. She says my unit was in lien and they were getting ready to auction the unit. I asked why they didnt call me sooner so I could pay rent on time. She said they were not allowed to call or send a bill. (Went back into the packet they give u when u sign up and sure enough, there was an option to get monthly invoices for $2/month or emailed invoices for free if u provide ur email, which I did). Ok whatever, asked if I could get late fees waived as one time courtesy since its been 2-3 months since I rented the unit. She said she is not allowed to waive anything and said she would ask corporate but did not ever get back to me about it) 2) second encounter I had was the following month. I called to pay rent and spoke to Karen again. She was so rude on the phone and replied "no I cant right now. Ill call u when I get back in the office." Did not get a call back and just received a receipt for charges to my card, which I did not authorize for them to do with another charge for late fee. I tried to look for the number for corporate and it is nowhere to be found on the contract or on the website. 3) my last and final encounter was on my move out date. I called to let them know my unit was empty. It was one day after my rent was due. She said I didnt give 7 days notice so per contract she will be charging me $10/day. She preceded to tell me all the BS of understanding how I feel, she was on my side and kept blaming everything on "corporate". When I asked her for corporates #, she said she was not allowed to give me the #. I told her I wanted to speak with someone above her or cal the complaint line and said she couldnt give out the #. And she kept saying other facilities r the same and they dont prorate rent or need to give notice to move out. At this point, after one to many negative interactions with this person, I just about lost it. This storage facility will do anything to get ur money. They dont care to provide quality service or care about customer satisfaction. I used to work for public storage and they DO prorate and it is NOT required to give 7 days notice. Notifying them on the day u move out is sufficient and they will refund the rest of ur month. I have never written a bad review, but my experience here was so terrible, I felt I had to share. If I could give 0 stars, I would, but unfortunately I have to put at least 1 star

Had our storage at Stor-Mor in Anaheim for a little less than six months. It was a positive experience from the get go. Staff is very friendly and the facilities and grounds were always kept clean. Gated and secured areas and with drive up to storage doors for easy move-in and move-out. We took advantage of their free truck rental for move-in which was a plus and saved us money. I would highly recommend Stor-Mor in Anaheim.

Stor-Mar storage is close to my business & I am comfortable of have my belonging at Stor-mar its very secure. The manager Debbie is such a delightful person she is more of the reason why I have told my friends of Stor-Mor shes on call every time I have need to get a hold of her shes there..she has the place well kept. Keep up the good work Debbie

i have to say that Karen the manager is so friendly , helpful and is an incredible asset to this company. its not very often you find an employee that is a company person yet puts cust. needs over everything else. thats why i rent here. and she keeps the place so clean from all of us guys that are slobs thank you.

when I was looking for storage I found the price vs location vs size pricing formula (the more convenient the location the more it costs and the less space you get) Stor-Mor Anaheim was close and well priced for the amount of space I got.

It is like any other storage place. What makes is worth 5 stars is Karen Atkins the Manger. She even has cold water bottles for her tenants. She is a truly caring, compassionate professional.
