My gf used this storage place to keep things for her business. The hours of this place are pretty part time and only between 7am to 7pm. Well, it was taking us a while to move things in and it was getting close to 7pm. I was looking for the person working there and he was nowhere to be found. After finding him and asking him about the extended hours he was very rude and indirect. I asked him if things went past 7pm what would happen and he said the gate would not open past 7pm. (2nd lie) This was of course after I spoke with him in the office because my gf called him out on lying because he said supposedly if you dont enter your gate code at the front gate it will set off an alarm because theres a gate code tied to each unit and security system. Right. I think this company needs to take some lessons in business. It was pretty funny after she called him out on his bullshit he passive aggressively walked away and tried to go home before I went up to him and demanded the answer to our question. Dont worry Extra Storage, we wont be using your services again and YES i will follow up with a phone call tomorrow.

Ive rented a space from this facility since 1999. I have never had any trouble with being able to access my space. I originally had a 5x5 climate control unit and then switched to a 10x10 when the need came up. I recently was in my unit and the light bulb had burned out. Contacted the office through the intercom at the end of the hall and someone came over within 5 minutes to replace the bulb. My unit is in the basement, so no problem with bugs or rodents. Never had an issue with using the dollys provided at every entrance. Never had an issue with rent (with the exception of it being raised at bit every year, so I agree with the spendy comments of previous reviewers - but what do you do? Im paying for a climate controlled unit so my belongings stay in good shape) The facility is secure and I have never felt unsafe when accessing my unit. The access hours are acceptable 7 am to 7 pm . I would recommend this facility to anyone in the Costa Mesa area looking for a good climate control option for their storage needs. Thank you.

Dear Readers, Let me personally assure you that this is the best place in all of Orange County to store. I have been a tenant at Extra Storage now for many years. Ive seen managers come and go. Recently a new manager was brought aboard. What a difference! Ive spoken to him few times; he is friendly and knowdgeable about the business. Soon as he came in; he made sure to make customer service his first priority. Sense, he hired on a very nice girl named Hedalen. I would go as far as to say that this place is the cleanliness, most friendly, overall best storage facility in Orange County. If you are shopping around for storage, make sure you stop by and talk to these people.

The worst service imaginable. As a newport beach member of the chamber of commerce, Im surprised why I havent seen these guys around. I would never come here again regardless of their paid google advertisements. There is very poor design of the buildings and for the price you are paying for such a small space its pretty bad. Also, they dont have dollies that move straight or space to store larger items like a boat. Storage should be accessed at least 12 hours a day and unfortunately these guys cant do that. Also they keep changing their policies and making up stories to try to bring me back as a customer. Fuhgetabout it.

This storage facility is the best & safest. Always clean & the workers are absolutely perfect with helping you get the exact space size you need plus theyre friendly. Its mostly business companies that store their business records here so its very professional & not a lot of big truck traffic. The only problem are the hours. Hours are 7-7 just to get into the gates. If they stayed opened just one hour longer it would be absolutely perfect. Please consider changing your hours. Oh, the location could not be safer. At least take a look at the facility to see if it is for you.

GREAT LOCATION - Very nice, supper clean storage. Unit alarmed on the coming and going along with keyed gate entry. Spendy at $200 for 10x10 per month, hey includes "Tasty mints" at front desk.
