I really give them zero stars. I rented a 10x30 indoor locker from them in March 2014 for $327/mo. Kimberlee, the property manager told me that renters insurance was mandatory and the minimum cost was $9.00/mo. I fell for that one for two months and realized that she lied. Insurance is not mandatory. I cancelled it. They raised our rent in July 2014, after only four months to $409, an insane 25% increase. Our lease states that they need to alert us to rent increase with 30-days advanced notice in writing. The Public Storage agent told me they sent a postcard notifying us of a rent increase. However, they notify me by email that my bill is due, but they send a postcard for a rent increase. Again, liars! We moved out of there today (Sep 29) before those blood-suckers could rip us off for another $409. Is the rent increase due to an increase in the cost of doing business? No. Today, that 10x30 locker is back on the market for $359 online, or $388 in store. Shortly after you rent it, youll get socked in the shorts too! We rented two lockers from Public Storage (Canada), each for 2 years, and never got a rent increase. And each locker had its own alarm. I can understand why one person complained of a break-in. This one in Orange, CA is not very secure.

I had such a bad experience with this facility. The management and staff do not care about their customers in my opinion. I was recommended to purchase a 10x10 unit for my items by the sales associate. I asked the sales women if I can get a bigger unit if my items dont fit when I more in. She said, yes! What she failed to tell me is that I would not receive the promotional discount of $1 for the first month if I end up requiring a bigger unit plus I would not receive a refund or credit for the unit I already purchased. So, basically I had to pay for a unit I did not use and purchase an additional unit so my items could fit at full market value (no discounts or promotions). When I spoke with the management about the situation, she was defensive and argumentative. She did not let me speak and blatantly did not care. She pretty much told me it was my fault for purchasing the wrong size. I would not recommend this facility to anyone. This facility does not know how to treat their customers nor do they have the qualifications/education to recommend the appropriate size unit for you items. The elevator is also difficult to use. I really feel wronged by this facility!!!!

I have had a storage room at the Public Storage on N. Main in Orange for years!!!! I probably have had almost every size they offer, which is a LOT!! I finally whittled mine and my 5 childrens belongs down to fit in the smallest storage last year and last week I emptied it!!! YEAH!!!! My baby got married in 2012!! I was always amazed at how clean every hall was. It was comfortable on all levels, never hot and stuffy. I knew my precious belongings were safe in every way possible. I never once saw any kind of a bug or rodent!! Unlike when I rented at outside storages where I suffered damage to belongings from mice getting to them!! YUCK!!! Kim and Rene in the office were so nice and helpful when ever I had a question. Even the other renters were considerate, helping to load something, giving you a turn with the dolly, etc. Thanks PS-Orange!! Ill be back IF I need storage again!!

This public storage is awesome, running by very good management!!! The facility is super clean, location is good and it even provides shaded parking right in front of the elevator lobby so its very convenient!! Tony, the manager has offered great help to us to choose from the deals that best fit our needs, we were already very impressed by his professionalism and enthusiasm. in July we were thinking of moving out in order to save $$, because we had a big unit, Tony helped us to downsize it and we eventually we did save quite a lot, he was still very happy to assist, never ever gave us any hard time that other places might do. Although we are moving out today since we just moved into a bigger house, he Tony is still being so nice and helped out a lot. Thanks to you Tony, you deserve the best praise!!

Tony & Patrick both were very responsive to a problem with a lock on my storage unit. It appeared that someone tried to drill out my lock and jammed it so as I couldnt open it. Patrick tried everything he could within his responsibilities to fix the lock but was unable to so he gave me an additional lock to secure it until maintenance could replace the hasp. Tony called me when the repair man arrived and waited until I got on location and supervised the repair of the lock and made sure it was done correctly. He apologized for the company maintenance taking so long to get around to replacing and repairing the lock on my unit. Everyone Ive had dealings with at this Public Storage Location has been very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable about their facility and service. Thank you all.

To date, I have used this Public Storage location (property 25522) for three years and have had no negative experiences with security, lighting, cleanliness, availability of the facility/unit or customer service. Recently I had the opportunity to downsize to a smaller unit and chose to remain at this same facility. I must bring to light customer service rep Tony. I could not have been more pleased with his attentiveness to my needs and his genuine desire to work with me in arranging a unit location that more than met my expectations and desires. If I owned this facility, I could earnestly state I would be more than pleased to have Tony as one of my employees. As long as I have a need for a storage facility, this location would be my preferred choice.

I have used storage units in the past but this was a different experience. The units are indoors and clean. What a great experience from the time Tony greeted me at the door until he walked me to the door after the paperwork was completed. Tony took me to the unit size that I thought that I needed. He wanted to make sure that I chose the right size. He took the time to show me how to lock and unlock and open and close the unit. He also showed me the keypad for the elevator and made sure I understood how to use it. Tony went over the paperwork with me and made sure I understood what I was signing. I think Tony is a wonderful representative for Public Storage

I have purchased boxes and supplies from this PS location for years and have always had excellent service and help from the staff. Just recently I was in need of storage space and while purchasing more supplies I asked Tony if there was any small units available. Tony was very kind, knowledgeable and checked the inventory. Tony showed me the unit and explained everything. The facility is clean, convenient, secure and well-lit. I decided quickly to rent the unit and Tony explained the agreement and all the legalize. I highly recommend this PS location and commend Tony and the rest of the staff for their excellent service.
