The package was addressed to 2912 XXX, but was delivered to 2812 XXXX(my house). I walked over to my correct address and delivered the package myself. I havent received any of my mail since someone put a hold on my address, accusing me of stealing the package. I went over to the Arcadia office and talked with the acting supervisor, Carlos Gutierrez, he came out after a long wait and he was extremely disrespectful and aggressive towards myself. He immediately started accusing me of stealing a package and telling me that there are consequences for people who steal. He didnt let me explain to him what happened or was willing to hear my part of the story. He kept interrupting me and telling me that the GPS data says that it was delivered and therefore, I stole the package. When I asked what could I do to resolve the issue, he told me to call the 1 800 number, which we all know is pretty useless for these kinds of issues. He went back to the employee-only room and I waited in the counter. When he came back, he told me that he was helping another customer. When he was done assisting the other customer, he started to walk back to the employee-only room and my wife said, "Excuse me, can I talk to you?" He ignored her and gave us an aggressive look. I snapped my fingers at him to get his attention, while I was saying excuse me. He yelled at me, "Dont you snap your fingers at me!" He kept walking to the private room and stayed there. We talked to other employees, asked for another supervisor or someone above Mr. Gutierrez and they initially refused to provide any information, they wouldnt even give us Mr. Gutierrez last name so that we could report him. Finally, after a long wait, one of the employees came out and told us that Mr. Gutierrez wasnt available anymore and we shouldnt wait for him to come since he wouldnt. She asked us to start from scratch and explain to her what happened. We went over the whole thing, she apologized for Mr. Gutierrez behavior and told us that he doesnt usually works there and doesnt know what his problem could be, he may be having a bad day. She also told us that we should go to our neighbors house and asked her to write a letter and give us a copy of her Driver License so that they can release our mail to us. Im having to waste my time to fix the problem of two people from USPS, the delivery person and the office supervisor, Carlos Gutierrez. I went to my neighbors house and no one answered the door. As of right now, I dont know what else to do and in the meantime, I dont have access to very time sensitive mail that is being held at the postal office.

Inconsistent. Unprofessional. Rude. Lazy!!!!!! Ive never had to visit a post office to claim a package so many times in my life because they were "unable to delivery my packaged" due to the fact that it "did not fit" in my mail box. I purchase a lot of clothing on ebay. Majority of the time all they had do was FOLD IT IN HALF and it would have fit with plenty of space left. Each employee is different. When I first moved here one lady said I had to show proof of residency, which I did bring in a billing statement w/my address, but she said it was not enough I needed additional documents. Okay, so I went back home gather more proof and went back to post office. This time it was a differently lady. I showed her my ID and proceeded to show her my other documents. She let out a friendly laughed and said "all I needed is your ID." SO EITHER THE FIRST LADY WAS BULLSHITTING ME AND WASTED MY TIME OR THE 2ND LADY WAS JUST LAZY TO GO THROUGH PROPER PROTOCOL. EITHER WAY IM FORCED TO COME BACK TO THIS POST OFFICE AGAIN AND AGAIN BECAUSE THEY WONT PUT MY PACKAGES IN THE DAMN MAILBOX!!! Seriously!!! Is there anyway to change the location of the packages that cant be delivered to my home???? I know this isnt the only USPS in the area!

Sadly, the Post Office is not part of the US government - its a quasi-governmental monopoly. This post office made news all over So. Cal a few months ago for clueless management. They ruined three very convenient drivers side mail drop boxes on the inside of their rear parking lot as follows: They unbolted them, turned them around and mounted them (in fresh cement) along the street-side curb, which created two problems: The drop boxes were now on the passenger side of your car (doh!) and the boxes are located in a red-striped no parking zone. Obviously, the only way for a driver to drop off the mail is to park, get out of the car and walk around. The sheer stupidity (and thousands of dollars in labor and material wasted) was so noticeable that it made the network TV new in Los Angeles. A few weeks later, the mail boxes were back in their original location. One can only hope that the person responsible for this was fired and the cost of these changes taken from his paycheck - but this is the US Post Office and pigs really dont fly. :-)

This is probably the worst post office I have been to in California, I had problems picking up packages here 3 times, always a line, and most of the people working there would be lucky to keep a job at McDonalds if they didnt work for the government. The last time the tracking number said delivered to this location for pick up, they looked at my license went to the back, came back, went back again, came back, said not here, I showed tracking number, then the worthless lady, said maybe you picked it up already and forgot i had it! Wtf? Then I asked for the manager, fat lazy Mexican lady, probably the best job she will ever have, looked in the back, came back, I said look at the name, she came back, looked again came back with it! After arguing with 3 people!

You just cant imagine how much I hate using this post office. I live in Arcadia, but will drive to Baldwin Park or Azusa to avoid anything dealing with the Arcadia post office. They claimed a package (with a tracking #) was delivered on a Saturday, gave me a BS story that it may have been stolen from my porch. The package shows up a week later because they delivered it to the wrong address. This is about the 4th time that it has happened. They will BS you and show lack postal worker / customer service skills. A perfect example of government employees that can be replaced by "untrained" chimps.

THIS OFFICE IS THE WORST I HAVE VISITED. I RENTED A MAIL BOX IN 1999 AND BEGAN RECEIVING MAIL ADDRESSED TO ANOTHER PERSON. I RETURNED THE MAIL TO THE MAIL CLERK. THEY CONTINUED TO PLACE THE PREVIOUS MAIL BOX HOLDERS MAIL IN MY MAIL BOX. THEREFORE, I TALKED TO THE SUPERVISOR TWICE AND HE/SHE STATED ABOVE MAIL WOULD STOP...HOWEVER, SAID MAIL CONTINUES TO BE PLACED IN MY MAIL BOX TO THIS DATE. AND, ITS BEEN THIRTEEN (13) YEARS SINCE I GOT THIS MAIL BOX!!! I KNOW THAT THERE ARE MANY NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING WORKERS AT THIS OFFICE, BUT THE NUMBERS ARE THE SAME IN ANY LANGUAGE OR, ARENT THEY?

There are no pens so bring one if you think youll need one. Be prepared for at least 3 people in line ahead of you no matter what time of day. One lady told me they didnt have any tape at the post office to tape up the flat rate box I got from the display and tried to sell me tape from their little store. I just went down to the unmanned counter and taped up my box with the tape that was sitting there as I waited in line patiently. I cant believe shed lie to my face to sell me tape or send me home. The Asian guy at least will be patient and honest with you.
