I moved to buena park in May 2011. We remodel our home and ended up covering the hole in the wall were they use to put the mail. Since our letter carrier was leaving us mail till this day we didnt know we needed a mail box, he always left it at the door. I made several complaints to the USPS and everytime i made a complaint the next day I will see a pack of my mail at my door. I complained 3 times. They never said the reason why they didnt deliver the mail, until i called again on friday and spoje to Jerry (the supervisor). He said to put a mail box asap. So we did and my point is that how is it that they choose what mail to deliver at my door but not my gas bill, light bill, mortgage bill. To make matters worst i went to the post office to make a complaint because when i spoke to the mail carrier today he said he put a notice in my door, which is not true. If u hold mail for a month shouldnt that be a red flag at their office? And to make matters more worst i go to the office and spoke to Victor (the ruddest and unprofessional person i ever met at a post office) to make a complaint and he was rude! Then i asked to speak to Jackie the main person n he got pist n refuse to take my message. After i told him off n told him my rights, and pist me off he took my number and message...lets see if they call me back! I will never go to that post office again. What kind of welcoming did I get from them:(

Worst post office in southern California. I had to install security cameras all over my property to be able to prove their lazy postal delivery people regularly fail to put your packages in a mail box, or at least try to hide them in a bush or under the mat. Its always the temp, the covering person, or the new guy/gal and all of a sudden your packages get STOLEN from your porch where they left it in plain sight 15 ft from the door. You figure, okay well I have this garbage on camera, ill just file a claim and USPS will need to reimburse me. HECK NO! good luck speaking to anyone at this location, and if you do manage to get the forms filled out and mailed it will be denied. They ALWAYS side with themselves. not once, not twice.. 14 times in the last year! police reports and all. The claims still get denied. I was offered 13$ for shipping on a 100$ item out of all of them, even though they advertise insurance up to $100. Moral of the story, use UPS. At least when they football your high value packages to the door they replace its full value and accept liability for the failure. USPS please just go out of business already and let the professionals get the real work done.

If you are dropping packages off at the loading/unloading dock located at the back of the USPS Store, then beware. The "dock man/boss" with the braids/dreads is very friendly and curt when it comes to the times. Often, We are called "bro" and "dude" when we are dropping packages off before the allotted time frame (before 5 p.m.) However, yelling and cursing(under the breath) is included when five minutes before 5 p.m. drop offs are attempted. Regardless, it seems he is either the store supervisor or regional supervisor, as he dictates the rules of the USPS Store, to my knowledge as USPS is an independent Federal Agency, if it is a regulation that any number of packages can be dropped off inside the store, then that is what I will do. However, as this does create more work for him/them they have redirected me to drop off small quantities or carry over to the next day, as they quote from the "supervisor". I do not know who to believe anymore, the independent Federal Agency or the "bro/dude" employee who seems to be the boss of the building.

This post office regularly fails to scan your packages on time regardless of time of day, or week. Need to get those last minute orders out on Saturday? Skip this location. You will not see a scan until Monday, it just sits there. Priority mail will not get accepted until Monday. But you got it in the bin before "last pickup" - So what. It will sit there anyways. As an Ebay top rated power seller my ranking and account performance is more important than consistently providing an income to this location with my drop offs. You will enjoy bad DSR and acceptance out of handling time blemishes on 1 out of 10 packages at this location, eventually leaving you in danger of loosing your shipping discount. Hey, convenient USPS. I have given it a year, and they just keep getting worse and worse. Time for a new post office.

I just went to this post office to mail some packages and took me more than an hour waiting to be help. Theres only 2 cashiers and 1 helping a long passport line. Then one of the cashier moved to the other side to help the pick up package customers who just got there with also problems while here we are still waiting in line. The lazy supervisor went out just to check the long line instead of helping customers and went back inside. What a lazy ass!! She doesnt even want to go out when the customer with a problem asKed for her. Thats why I dont want going to this post office because of the slow service! Cashiers are really nice and I feel so sorry for them. I hope the administration hires more qualified employees and please, change the supervisor,!!!

Better than a shredder! Sign up for a P.O. box today and NEVER have to worry about receiving mail ever again! Bills you dont want to pay? GONE! Checks you dont want to cash? Never see them! Class action settlements you dont want? Fugettaboutit! The USPS will happily discard each and every shred of mail you forward to their P.O. Boxes for a low low quarterly fee! Never again receive those pesky paper mailings and envelopes through the MAGIC of P.O. Boxes! USPS: "Better than a Shredder!" Note: Less than 1 week after posting this review, I finally received my first piece of mail after having a P.O. Box for 2 months. The quarter is almost over, and Ive already re-set my Forwarding Address somewhere else, but at least the mail was current.

I have packages come up missing that the mail carrier insist he remembers delivering, and even though I was at home at the time and I know there was no package delivered the post office was of no help. I can go up to three days without receiving a piece of mail and the post office thinks that I should not think that as odd. Now how many of us do not get at least some junk mail at least once every three days. And do not try to call for help because they will either not answer or answer and hang up. I have had to call 5-10 times consecutively just to get someone to answer. I moved to Buena Park about two years ago and have had nothing but trouble getting my mail and packages delivered.

im sorry but i just gotta say that my delivery post office people through the years are nothing but awesome! Always smiling and nice, even on a bad day! The store gets crowded at times, ubut i just chalk it up to good, in-demand service. Each time i move away from this city, it sucks that i cant take my post people with me cuz service isnt always the best in other parts like it is here. Keep up the good work and know that theres a bunch of us on Naomi Ave that appreciate all of you. "Youre the best...around!" (had to break out in song, sorry) Buena Park...YAAAAY m/__{>~<}__m/ -
