I live in Georgia, so I dont know anything about El Monte, CA, but I can tell you that in my opinion, they have got their collective heads up their backsides. I ordered something from a seller on eBay, and a pre-shipment label was created through this post office. Then....nothing....for 4 days! They didnt update the tracking number to even show receipt of the item. The next update shows that its in Atlanta...before El Monte even shows they got it! I was calling the seller a liar for saying he shipped it. Now I owe him an apology. There was a time when you had to have integrity and a work ethic to work for the post office. Obviously, that is no longer the standard. These lazy, selfish, morons should be fired for damaging a sellers reputation and costing him customers. I see from the sellers feedback comments that this is definitely not the first time this has happened.

I live in New York i bought something form a seller on eBay it happen he live in this miserable post office area it took from em 4 days to process the package out ! okay no problem @@IT happen, what make it worst i deiced to return this item to the seller. the seller send me first class postage return service to use it. after the package travel from New York to this post office they held it for 4 days then someone smart put a sticker on the package return to sender need appropriate postage !! are you kidding me this first class postage RETURN SERVICE. the package travel all the this distance from New York to you and you the smart one who figure out this is not appropriate postage. comon this post office gonna make ppl lose em business.

This is the worst USPS office ever. People whom work here are really bad and they are rude. 3:30 closing time for package drop off!!!!! They close @ 4!!!! One of the Vietnamese lady weight our box and return to our office because it for 2lbs less even though it more than 50 lbs package. Our scale was not accurate that particular day. 2 lbs less does not effect the shipping cost that much, not a $1.00 difference. We lost $70 of shipping fee since the label had been scan and return to us; Shippo will not reimburse us. Thank you Vietnamese lady!!!!

I can not believe some of these reviews because when I went in I was met by a welcomed hello and we chatted a bit and the service was much better and faster then ANY post office I been to and I am originally from a small town back east! I hope the rest of you will get a better experience next time!!

I recieve a letter somebody cut the evelopes edge, so inside check was demaged. This guy must be in the post offce somewhere. I do not know why he did.

Dont deposite your mail to the collect bin outside the office. They said I quote "if the mail got stolen, theres nothing we can do about it"
