I researched this choice a lot, and Ive been using this place for a year now, so Extra Space Storage has really earned their spot as my best recommmendation for personal storage. They have the most modern, safe, clean, maintained, up-scale and best features among their competition. So much so, when I signed up I joked about getting room service and continental breakfast. It really is the best place to put your stuff. Kirk and Sandra were very helpful answering my questions and getting me set up. During business hours theres always at least one of them at the front desk, often with one of them cleaning or polishing the already spotless facility. Millbrae/Burlingame is a very safe location, and I love the number-code parking entry, indoor gated parking area (no rain, no fence jumping), number-code internal door access, motion-detecting security cameras, indoor elevator access, individual storage unit alarms, concrete and metal construction (no wood or wire), daily lock-check, and also the huge windows of their management office, which is facing all foot traffic passing through a single point of entry. Its like the opening credits of Maxwell Smart entering through all those doors, but its very fast and easy if you know your code and have your key. Millbrae/Burlingame is cheaper than SF or SJ as well (which tends to even out the price compared to lower-quality alternatives). Its practically on top of SFO Airport, Bart, Caltrain, 101, 280, and 92 bridge, so you can get to it quickly and easily from anywhere in the bay area, or anywhere in the world. Ive accessed the unit year-round and always find it clean, cool, dry, comfortable for storing all my belongings. Again, its my best recommendation in this space.

I have to moved out of my apartment by this weekend, I didnt know what to do. I called around to different storage facilities but all I kept getting was answering machines. I called the Extra Space Storage in Burlingame and I spoke with Sandra. She was very friendly and professional over the phone. She invited me down to the property, I must said that the facility is very secure and clean. Sandra showed me around and answered all my questions. I never had to rent storage before. I was so nervous, but after my meeting with Sandra,I felt that renting with Extra Space Storage was the best option for me. If you are looking to rent a storage unit, Extra Space Storage in Burlingame is the place to be. Thank you Sandra for giving me a piece of mind. I finally can get some sleep now.. You are AWESOME!!!!

This is truly the best storage facility in the area. Not only is the facility kept extremely clean, the safety and security systems and protocols are reliable, but most of all, the management is what makes this place stand apart from their competitors. The level of professionalism from Sandra and Kirk gave this place the stars it deserves (from initial inquiry to contract signing, to moving in, etc.) They are knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and understanding. Ive visited many other places and they might have similar facility / features, but they certainly do not have professional services and management like Sandra and Kirk, which is the reason why I dont hesitate recommending this location to any of my friends. Keep up the good work!

We have had storage at several different locations over the years and i cant say enough great things about Extra Space storage in Burlingame. Seriously this is the best run storage facility i have every seen. Kirk and the other staff are so nice you actually WANT to go to storage. The location is kept so clean and secure. They continually check locks and let you know if you forgot to close your unit properly. Every time i go, i say.. "i love this place" and that is not an exaggeration. They really do far exceed expectations in everything. Even the little things, like having carts that arent broken... If you need storage, this is THE place to go.

As a small businessman I value great service and cleanliness. I have to say Ive rented and leased many storage spaces in the 15+ yrs Ive been operating and extra space storage in burlingame may just be my final destination. The staff is amazingly helpful and courteous, and the facility especially the floors and the bathroom are constantly tended to. Thank you to Sandra especially for making my move in easy, and when the space I originally rented wasnt adequate THANK YOU for making my next THREE!! Moves seamless and although I know I must have been a pain thank you for making me feel like it was no bother to accommodate me.

Above and Beyond Customer Service! Ive been a tenant for a year or so and have always been pleased with the clean, well-lit, atmosphere but today I had an experience that warrants a five star review. While walking to my storage unit I dropped and kicked (really!) my credit card under a panel. It slid in a way that made it impossible for me to retrieve. The manager, Kirk, spent 20 minutes fashioning contraptions, tirelessly attempting to free my card. He was friendly and clever and eventually was able to sweep my card back into reach. A terrible experience turned into a great one. Thank you Kirk!

The people at Extra Space in Burlingame were very helpful. The facility was well run. My siblings and I were in and out several times a year getting things for our Mother who lived nearby. The office was always open when it said it would be, the bathroom was always clean, the halls swept, and the security system working properly. The e-billing system made things easy. Ive used other storage facilities in the past and this one is top-rate.

Kirk and Sandra have honestly made this experience the best one out of any local storages Ive been with. Yes, Im hard to please when it comes to this but this place has wonderful customer service not to mention its clean and smells fresh and has great people to help accommodate your special requests. One draw back is THAT third FLOOR! Its super HOT! It needs A/C ASAP! Other than that-love it! Thanks, guys!

I rent at two other rental facilities for my business. This facility is clean, secure, and well lit. By all means my experience today has been the best. Kirk Anderson customer service blew my expectations away. From touring the facility and making reservations to doing the paperwork, he made moving in a breeze. I will be moving into more units here in the near future. I highly recommend this place.

Just got a medium sized storage unit last week. This facility is both secure and clean for a great monthly price. Not to mention a super friendly staff. Very welcoming, but more importantly, extremely flexible in terms of upgraded/downgrading storage space and working out a move out date with just a little advanced notice. For sure this is the better choice than other storage facilities!

We have rented storage space (sometimes 2 spaces) for many years at this location. It is a great location for us and one of the best parts, if not the best, is the customer service received fr Kurt and Sandra. They are outstanding, both as a team and individually. I highly recommend.
