Fantastic Girls

First of all, I would like to say, these two ladies deserve a raise. Or at the very least, a bonus. I have been in a management position for 31 years, and was so impressed with Sherrie and Jessica. Not just with their kindness, and the way I was received when I entered the property, because as we all know, any employee can fake a certain air of kindness. These ladies WERE Public Storage. The way this company was represented by these employees genuinely touched and so impressed me. You could see immediately they were proud to be working for their employer. They were both so knowledgeable regarding the rules and standards of Public Storage. It was immediately apparent to me they had surely done their homework. They took me through every step, and made me to known that my belongings would be safe and cared for. Im not sure who trained these fine employees, but who ever it was should know that these two ladies have not dropped the ball. When an employee cares so much about their customers, it doesnt feel like you are just renting a place to store your belongings, it feels like you are leaving them with a friend. Lastly, I want to tell you theyq sold me the exact amount of boxes,wrapping paper, chair, couch.mattress covers, a lock.....Just exactly everything I would need to make my move an enjoyable transition rather than a stressful one. Thank you so much Public Storage, Sherrie and Jessica. Keep up the good work. So far, 3 of my friends have also rented units from Public Storage.

I have used multiple public storages and have dealt with many of there employees, but I have to say the property manager Nicole here is absolutely by far the best. She is always super sweet and helpful. She goes out of her way to assist and satisfy her customers. Nicole is always polite patient and professional no matter what is going on. Ive seen Nicole in action she had a customer that was yelling at her and being rude. She also had myself and 3 other waiting not to mention the rental she was doing. Nicole never lost her cool she was AMAZING. I always make sure to go when she is working because she is the only one at that property that actually does anything and makes sure your helped and satisfied. Ive gone there when shes off and its just not the same. The other girls there are not friendly or helpful there always on there phone and most of the time the office will be locked lights off . I know I sure do appreciate it Nicole she is the best. Your lucky to have someone as talented and dedicated to her job as she is. Nicole there does the job of 2 at least this property use to always have 2 people staffed there but ever since Nicole has been up here she is always by herself and she does an amazing job and yet when shes not working there are two and the service is terrible. NICOLE YOUR THE BEST

I hate writing bad reviews, however, I had a really bad experience: The price was great, the sales person was friendly and the location was clean and convenient. Unfortunately, they were broken into and my unit was ransacked. I mean destroyed. Antique furniture broken, trunks thrown around and anything of value stolen. The worst part is they never even told me! Apparently someone rented a unit to get access to the facility then spent an entire night bumping locks and rummaging through dozens of units. I found out months later when the San Pablo Police called and asked if I was one of the victims. I immediately ran to my unit and found out I had been burglarized. My heart sank. They took jewelry that belonged to my deceased mother and even my fathers army medals from Vietnam! When I asked why they didnt call me they said they only called people who looked like they had broken in. This seems like they were blatantly trying to hide the break in from their customers. The police officer told me the same thing had happened within the last year. I had private renters insurance through AAA so I at least got some money back, but the stuff I lost was so sentimental and the damage so blatant that I cannot trust them ever again.

The internal security is lax with customers cutting off the locks of other customers and stealing their belongings. The responses from management when I lost several thousand dollars worth of goods was minimal and cursory at best. The rates continue to rise far above the cost of living. Since I first signed on with PS my rates have more than doubled. In recent months the people living in the homeless encampment to the north have been frequenting the northern lobby at night to get out of the elements. This does not promote a feeling of security. PSs response is to shut down at night almost as soon as the work day has ended (6 PM) and 5 PM on weekends. We no longer have access to our belongings at night. I pay nearly $5,000 per year for my small unit and now I have minimal access to it. Im not pleased.

Excellent experience. I was overwhelmed with the storage companies in the area. I just started hitting up each one....three the first day....three the next day, etc. When I came to El Sobrante Public Storage that was it. I just made my mind up there. Clean, excellent staff, good location. Very clean grounds. Very clean storage areas. Didnt get the creeps with dirty units and bugs like some previous locations. Staff is great. Staci checked me in. Very helpful. I was on mental overload, so she didnt mind repeating all the info. Very patient. Plus I went online to reserve a spot, and the price was cheaper online so that was the clincher for me. Also Sherrie was super helpful the following day. I would recommend this company to all my friends.

SHARMIKA & SHERRY are the best workers at this facility. They deserve a SECURITY guard on duty. Theyre soooo HELPFUL, PLEASANT & just GREAT PEOPLE who do their jobs WELL. They actually take PRIDE in what they do. If I could rate them 10 STARS I would, they took great care of my MOTHER & I truly APPRECIATE their help. I miss JESSICA shes also a GREAT MANAGER & JORDON was AWESOME as a DISTRICT MANAGER. JESSICA is at a NEW LOCATION but she shouldve been the NEW DISTRICT MANAGER. I feel like IRIS couldve done MORE for my mother than she did.

Leslie and Sharika were wonderful! They were very patient and courteous with me to pay my bill which is at a different location, and their system was down. They gave many options on how I could and waited for the account to load. They resolved all my questions about my account and were so nice and friendly and professional and outstanding. I will come to pay my bill with them every month for their wonderful customer service.

Moving is so stressful and with 3 kids it can be a nightmare. When I went to public storage unsure of how many boxes I would need to pack my home i was pleasantly surprised to find some one who did. Thank you, Sherrie for all your help. Public Storage is more than storage; they have all the packing supplies necessary for moving too!!! Thank you for making my move easier than what I could of imagined.

Jessica helped me with getting a storage that was right for me that is within my price range. She was very kind and professional and kept the place looking and feelinf clean. As I waited inside of the office for my bf to meet me there she used her time wisely by getting things done.
